Realistic or Modern Protocol: Training Wheels || CS

StoneWolf18

Within the Depths of a Dream
Protocol: Training WheelsIC|| OOC || CS
Now we're to the good shit.

First off, Work in progress CSs are not allowed. I see it, I delete it. Why? The clutter annoys me and 9 times outta 10, they're never finished.

Second, it must be reasonable and appealing to look at. Meaning you don't need to use extensive code or really any at all. But if you don't bother bolding the different fields or just give me a disgusting mass of text, chances are it's going to take much longer to get your CS approved.

Third, powers and abilities.

Oh boy.

Let's make a list.

- Don't just give me a basic, half-assed Iron Man or Black Widow copyright infringed POS. Originality is kinda a thing.

- Powers don't need to be all encompassing and your character will most likely not be prepared for every scenario. This is normal.

- If you use an overdone ability such as being combined with an animal of some sort, give it a special, unique twist that makes it not as dull and cliche.

- This isn't a fantasy roleplay, meaning I want a scientific explanation as to why they have what they have, even if you're spewing pure impossible bullshit everywhere. Meaning I'm unlikely to accept aliens or anything classified as "magic" seeing as they are simple copouts.

- If playing a teen, remember that their power is not going to be genetic so they will have had no formal training on what he hell they're doing. So they shouldn't have full understanding and or control of it, or hell, maybe they don't even know what caused it or that they have it yet.

- Your character doesn't have to necessarily have an ability but be in peak human condition such as an insane IQ or extreme physical conditioning. However, I want a reasoning for it.

- I recommend the Superpower Wiki to find a power of some sort.

- Powers that have to do with Omni-anything, time and or space, mind control/the manipulation of another person, and absoute shapeshifting are automatically off limits.

Fourth and finally, let me clear up some of the tropes I want avoided within these characters.

- Not all superheroes' parents are dead, missing, what have you or are their abilities brought on by some form of physical or mental abuse. They could have had the utmost perfect and normal life before gaining their powers. That is fine.

- Gray moral areas exist. Not everyone is a purely good and vice versa. Maybe they want to keep their abilities from the public/cure themselves and have a normal life. Maybe they want to use them to save themselves and their family which might seem wrong to everyone else but is necessary to them. Or they could just be a self-righteous ass with a soft spot for kittens.

- If your character is literally as edgy as Zendaya was in homecoming, they aren't being accepted.

- Trust me, having contradictory powers such as flight and they're afraid of heights is funny an all, but no one wants a sobbing mess of someone who can manipulate fire, and they think their a accursed demon who should rot in hell for all eternity because their extremely religious parents kicked them out.

- Common sense is key~

Name: Zoe Murray
Age: 26
Gender: female
Occupation: Hero

Height: 6"1
Weight: 200 lbs
Hair: Blonde. Vivid red dyed Mohawk
Eyes: Steel grey
Build:
Zoe is rather tall with a toned body, yet not overly muscular as she still retains a somewhat lanky appearance.
Complexion:
Pale, as so many of the Islandfolk
Image:
x_65e27772.jpg

Ability: Metalmorph
Ability Description:
Zoe's powers manifest in form of a Metal-enhanced physiology.

-Metal reinforced Skeletal and Muscular structure
Zoe's body has an inherent capability to cultivate metal in form of Iron, strengthening her bones and muscle fibers by making them denser and more resilient

-Metal Skin
Utilizing her body's Iron Zoe's able to cover the entirety of her body in a protective layer of Metal that makes her extremely resilient to physical force and fulfills the basic functionality of a full-body armour

Her Iron Skin can harden into a stronger, Steel-like material but it takes time to manifest
Unlike actual armour, the Metal skin doesn't impair Zoe's movement
zoe2-2.jpg

Strengths:
-Extremely resilient to physical force and projectile/blade based attacks
-Superhuman strength due to reinforced bone and muscle structures
-Nigh-indestructible plating
-Strong hand-to-hand combatant
-Not easily impressed
-Adaptable and fitting one-liners for most situations

Weaknesses:
-Best physical defense...But lousy against elemental attacks:
Magnetism really ruins her day
Electricity; Makes her basically serve as a lightning rod
-Strong magnets can force her to shed her metal skin, or cause her bones and muscles to shift, causing internal damage additionally to immobilizing her
-Extremely reliant on Iron Supplements in her diet or the Iron Skin is going to manifest as some laughably brittle armor
-Short temper
-Doesn't always follow the Protocol (understatement)
-Hot headed and usually just decides on a whim rather than strategic planning
-Dad-level Metal puns

Personality:
Heroism, Selflessness, Sense of Justice, Dashing good looks and the inherent ability to rock a kick-ass cape are what a Hero's all about, right?
Zoe pokes a huge hole in that romanticized picture of Heroes.
She's brash, blunt and highly sarcastic, never taking anything too serious, or at least showing a lot of disinterest when having to work with her fellow heroes.
Not inherently unsociable Zoe enjoys ticking the uptight heroes off when they do their usual "Boy scout" thing, pointing it out and making one or two inappropriate remarks to totally ruin the moment.

When going about her Hero business Zoe really shows her teeth, being extremely efficient in what she does, being the primary reason for her being a well-known hero, and NOT her...unique...personality.
She never backs down and takes unnecessary risks when dealing with "baddies". Due to the nature of her powers she gets away with most of it and looks out for her partners as she can take the beating.

Despite having a rough exterior Zoe has rare...like 4-leaved clover levels of rare...moments of showing heart and a genuine feelings, still heavily masked under a layer of snarky comments and awful jokes.

Writing Sample: To get a feel for how you write and if you are indeed a good fit. This should encompass their history, how they got their powers, thoughts on using them, so on and so

No alien princess escaping a doomed planet, no billionaire's daughter to inherit their fortune, no, Zoe was born into a dysfunctional household. With a father that was never there for her or her mother, just sending the occasional birthday or christmas card and a mom who had to work overtime. Leaving Zoe mostly to her own devices, which made her grow up quick, and made her grow up mean (If someone gets this reference I'll be happy.)
Spending most of her free time, and even those hours she was supposed to be at school, hanging around with her clique of fellow deadbeats, engaging in borderline-illegal activities and slowly taking down the path no parent wants their child to tread.

The most fateful incident was when the the now de facto leader of the clique was challenged to a "Bet", with her associates betting against her having the guts to break into an abandoned warehouse that has been closed off due to a chemical waste spill a few years back.
Of course youth and stupidity lead Zoe to accept, entering the closed off building during the night to take some pictures as evidence. Finding the heart of the site in a rather disappointing state:
Broken containers and chemical spill everywhere, but no Aliens or government secrets.
Careless like she was Zoe didn't notice the corroded Metal floor she was standing on, collapsing under her weight and making her fall into the lower levels, suffering from some rather nasty cuts in the process. The chemical-coated, rusted metal slashing open her torso and arms as she protected her face, deep enough to draw blood, but completely harmless...Or so she thought.
But in the heat of the moment she did not care about scratches, having once again proven that she deserved being on top.

It was during this time that Zoe started to experience extreme nausea and blackouts, forcing her concerned mother to have her checked at the hospital.
Which lead to weird test results like extreme lack of Iron in her blood and overly high amounts of red blood cells in her body.
Not pressing the matter further and being contend with Iron supplements Zoe soon enough found that there was a reason for her unusual fatigue.
Starting with her noticing her blood hardening into thin layers of shiny metal whenever she cut herself, or the increased strength that made her maintain straight A's in P.E.

Not telling her mother Zoe only shared her new findings with her clique, who had their own little ideas of how to use these powers.
With great power comes...great ways to cause mayhem.
The gang started to terrorize the streets, from simple muggings to break ins, it wasn't long until they were found out and Zoe's mother lost custody over her daughter and the delinquent almost faced a few tough years in youth prison...

if it wasn't for someone else having gotten wind of her unusual affinity for Metal, having been tipped off by her Doctor. And it was none other than one you'd consider a "Hero", seeing potential in the misguided Punk who was using her powers just to get recognition from her peers.

The next time that vivid Red Mohawk was in the news was when reports of a new "hero" of sorts popped up all around the country. A hero who lacked the typical heroic image but got the job done with a triumphant grin and a lame joke or two.

For Zoe is not a symbol of peace nor one for heroism. She uses her power to their full potential, directed to those in need of a beating as her superiors watch the destruction from a safe distance. She enjoys the spotlight and exposure she gets from her job, seeing it as nothing more but a way to use her powers productively. It's no calling, it's not a responsibility. It's just the best way to go about keeping yourself in check while avoiding being listed as a danger for society and facing the consequences.
Plus it's probably the best way to get some leeway when it comes to messing with fellow heroes and ridiculing their weird choice of costumes.

description: Can manipulate cold and ice, creating and shaping ice into different forms.
strengths:
❧ Can lower the temperature in a room, creating more moisture for her to use
❧ Can create a weapon out of ice
❧ Able to freeze water/moisture to create paths to walk on
weaknesses:
➼ Has only recently started to learn of her ability, so barely any to no control and is tied with to her emotions
➼ Ice is still ice and can be shattered with the right amount of power
➼ The farther Emma is from where she's aiming her powers, the less stable the creation is
➼ If the air is extremely dry (like in a desert), she cannot create her own ice

♦♦♦
personality: Emma is a bright and earnest girl who wants to see the best in the world and help make a difference, no matter how small. She tries to be nice and sweet with everyone she meets, offering to take extra shifts at the Shelter she works at without a beat, loving her work. She's always willing to lend a helping hand and hates seeing cruelty in any shape or form, be it to people or animals or even nature. She prefers to see the best in every situation and can be extremely naive due to this, possibly causing more harm than good in certain situations. Despite everything though, her intentions are pure and she just wants the chance to help, even if she doesn't fully understand the circumstances.

writing sample: Born the only child to the Jones family, Emma lived a very basic and simple life. Her parents loved her and were happy in life, and therefor Emma was happy. They had enough money to live comfortably and some extra to have a few extra amenities. Throughout her school years Emma did well in school, despite her dislike for most of the subjects, preferring the fictional escape of her English classes where she excelled. Having volunteered throughout high school at the local animal shelter, once she graduated and announced that she had no current plans of going to college, the shelter offered her a full-time paid position as a kennel technician where she's been working for the past few months, which is where she got bit for the first time, causing strange things to happen around her.
---
Jogging down the street, her hair up in a small pony tail high on her head, Emma continued to hum along to the song blasting through her earbuds as she made her way to work. With each hit of her sneakers against the firm pavement, the young brunette girl smiled to herself, already planning her schedule for the day, quickly deciding which dogs to take out first once she'd given everyone who needed it their medication.

As she caught sight of the back door to the shelter, Emma gently removed her ear buds, rolling them up and securely putting them in her pocket before punching in the code to open the door. Once inside she walked into the staff kitchen and locker room and grabbed her scrubs out of her locker and headed for the bathroom to change so she could punch in and get to work.

Emma didn't know how much time had passed by the time she'd gotten all the dogs outside and cleaned half the cages when she first heard a nearby rustling and something sounded suspiciously like a bark. Furrowing her brow in confusion, she turned off the radio on the back wall and put down the hose used to clean out the kennels, grabbing an extra leash just in case. "Hello?" she called out, wondering if someone had brought in a stray dog they'd found. Waiting a moment, giving anyone who had come through the front of the building a chance to respond, Emma heard nothing in response, other than another bark.

She huffed in annoyance, assuming that someone had found a dog and just dropped it off outside the shelter before taking off. While yes, she was glad that this person dropped the dog off at a shelter rather than leaving them, it always bothered her when people just automatically took off, thinking the workers would have no need to talk to them. Which in fact, she did need to talk to them. It would be a lot easier to try and find out of the dog is missing from its home if they could question the person who brought them in where it was exactly that they found them, but no. They did their daily good deed. Emma rolled her eyes in annoyance, shivering at the sudden coolness in the room.

Confused she glanced at the thermostat on the wall and frowned, seeing it was only seventy eight degrees. "What the heck?" she murmured, feeling something cold in her hand. Looking down her eyes widened at the sight of the slip lead she'd grabbed covered in a thin layer of ice.

"Arrf!"

Emma let out a shriek, jumping, the lead dropping from her hand and dropping to the floor with a small a small clatter, breaking into small pieces. Turning to the front of the shelter with wide eyes and shaking hands, she stared at the tiny wiggling black and white Labrador puppy. She swallowed, staring blankly at the barking animal in front of her when it moved suddenly, jumping at her legs, causing her to shriek again.

"Arrf!"

She took in a shuddering breath and crouched down slowly, picking up the dog and bringing it to her chest. "What is wrong with me little guy?" she whispered, staring at the pieces of the slip lead laying on the floor.

Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Green
Build: Athletic
Complexion: White

Ability:
Force field Projection, Energy blasts
Ability Description: Guardian can project force fields or energy beams from emitters on his suit. These abilities are powered by a reactor on his back that is powered by a new element called Gallerium. The element is unstable but gives off large amouts of energy that can be redirected into the suits various functions.

Strengths:

-Guardian helped build his suit so he is aware of its limits and knows just the right way to get a little more out of its systems
- Force absorbing gel packs in his suit allow him to take big hits even without his force fields protection
- His study of robotics gives him special knowledge on how to eliminate targets with high tech weaponry.
Weaknesses:
-Without his suit he has no abilities
-While his Energy blasts makes him a good mid to long range fighter, He inst very competent at close combat
- Michael is a planner. If things go wrong he struggles to improvise.

Personality: Michael could be described and brave, heroic, selfless, and dedicated. But the best word to describe him would be worried. Worried about his suit. Worried about the city. Worried about the declining number of pandas. If it exists then Michael has probably worried about it. Which doesn't usually lead itself to the stressful job of super heroing. But Michael despite all his worrying is driven by a deep seated need to help people. And the only time he has ever really stopped worrying is when he climbs into his armor and launches out into the night.

Writing Sample:
Michael was born at a very young age. (Ok Ill be serious now) He was born into a loving family in the outskirts of the city. His farther was a engineer and his mother was a nurse in the local clinic. Michael grew more and more inquisitive as he grew older and eventually followed his fathers footsteps and studied to become an engineer. He flourished In the theoretical sciences and in the practical applications of robotics and soon became the benefactor of a secret sponsor. This sponsor paved the way for Michael to finish his courses and start a job at Guardian Labs, The foremost provider of robotics and artificial intelligence. It was here that he discovered his secret sponsor. Darius Clay, the ceo of Guardian Labs, had sponsored Michael because he "saw something special". What did that mean? Mike had no idea, but he was determined to live up to it. Working within a group of similarly chosen people he worked on many projects meant to help in emergency situations or day to day tasks. The work was difficult but rewarding and Michael was enjoying himself. He had enough money to support his mother and father even after his back went in a work accident. Life had its ups and downs but for the most part life was good.

Then Darius called him into his office. "Today's the day Michael. The day this has all been leading up to." Darius went on to explain that another laboratory he managed had made a major breakthrough and manufactured a new element. This what he called the final piece. He then began showing Michael plans for a new type of suit. He said the plan started as a way to equip emergency services with tech to manage extreme situations. But the idea developed into something more. Darius explained the the sponsorships were his way of vetting potential applicants to the Guardian Project.
The next few months were filled with long hours of work in secret. But eventually the suit was complete. Darius then took Michael and a selected few to a secret compound outside of the city and began training. He learned how to use his suit in many different situations and with many different handicaps. Darius told him that his training was complete and that he was the first of many. But the others would take time. Darius hoped to have a whole team to support Guardian. Darius would undoubtedly succeeded in his goal but Michael would have to wait and see as darius had given him another goal to protect people, to make there lives better and defend those who couldnt help themselves. To be a Guardian.

Wayne Philip Rose III

"i just do what i have to"

basic information

Name: Wayne Philip Rose III
Age: 27
Alias: The Knight
Gender: Male
Occupation: Billionaire philanthropist, inventor (Rose Consolidated)

aspects

Height: 5ft 10in
Weight: 186 lbs.
Hair:: dark brown
Eyes: blue-gray mix
Build: Muscular
Complexion: Peach, light tan

underneath the surface

Ability: Genius-Level Intellect
Ability Description:
Wayne is very much one of the smartest men on the planet. Although it may not show in his personality, he understands a lot more than he lets on with years of studying and reading to back this all up. He's come to specialize in mechanics and chemistry but can definitely outshine people in other subjects. Recalling information is a breeze for him, using it too is nothing and so with his creativity and knowledge he is still a dangerous foe in spite of his lack
Strengths:

  • Great knowledge in mechanics and chemistry
  • Recreational use of his strengths often calls for a force to be reckoned with
  • Expert tactician and leadership capabilities
Weaknesses:
  • Is powerless unlike many of the other heroes and villains he's being matched up against
  • Relies heavily on the Emerald Knight armour
  • Has no fighting chance in places that lack proper equipment or even recreational parts and widgets
  • Lacks fighting ability
hero inventions

Uregon- Being his curious self, Wayne came across the mono-atomic alloy, soon to be named Uregon, at an African Savannah trip he went on as a teen. The metal seemed to be self-moving, constantly changing forms. He took a small portion of the finding, and left the rest of the "living metal" in the cave he'd found it in. Keeping it a secret for years, he later began testing the alloy and produced more by cloning it. Uregon is currently the third hardest metal in the world, third to Adamantium and Vibranium. He's refused to sell the alloy thus far, though.

Knight Armour - As you've probably guessed, Wayne began to use Uregon for his various technological advancements which included the Knight Armour. Using an energy generator as well as the transparent-looking metal, Uregon, he's created a weapon so powerful. The metal has been manually bonded to his body through surgical means and so it only reacts and works for those bearing Rose blood. He is able to control the armor through direct brain impulses. He has direct, cyberpathic control over the communication devices, scanning equipment, and recording devices located in his helmet.. Rose’s patented repulsor technology: high-density blasts of charged particles, directed by magnets, generally used as an offensive weapon. The repulsors that emerge from his hands and feet are also the primary flight control device of the armors, used in conjunction with the thruster boots. This is what enables a heavy metal man to go flying through the skies with the skill of a fighter jet. The armour includes a helmet in which has scanners and enables thermal vision, GPS and computer utilization.

Watch Blaster - Used mainly when attacked in civilian clothing, the watch blaster works as a normal watch but can be transformed into a blaster by pulling down the watch over his hand. Unlike his armours, the watch is made of titanium and does not respond to his thoughts. The repulsor also only holds up to three blasts before an eight minute wait period.

personality

Wayne is very charming, talkative, and outgoing. He loves to be recognized for his accomplishments, and tackles projects with creativity and enthusiasm.

He is by far the most charismatic of the superheroes. While many heroes have a persona that is a bit of a blank slate, Wayne oozes personality from every pore. As the Knight or his alter-ego Wayne Rose, he loves the spotlight, and is perfectly at home talking in front of large groups of people. After all, what’s the fun of being a superhero if you’re not famous for it? He is impulsive, talkative, and fun-loving. As a leader, he is inspiring and enthusiastic. He does have his flaws, though. Cocky and not a great listener, he is sometimes more concerned with popularity than results. He tries to make everything fun, but when the fun is over and things start to become routine, he loses interest quickly.

writing sample

Wayne sighed, rubbing his nose as he leaned forward in the Land Rover he'd been forced into. His parents, Wayne Rose II and Marissa Rose had persuaded him into coming for this trip in order to close a deal with a contending company. He'd chosen to do it, but immediately regretted his decision. The sun was blaring, his skin was definitely going to hurt when he got back to the hotel, he'd forgotten to apply sunscreen and he was already parched. Water was the only other thing he could think off, besides swatting the insects away of course. He looked up at Dikembe Ayolola, the business partner his parents wanted to collaborate with so badly. He frowned at the old African man, taking in another breath as he was asked about his part on the deal.

"I mean, fifteen percent isn't a joke." He said with a short laugh, rolling his eyes. Dikembe's wife laughed too.

With that, the rover turned into a large but dark cave, mucky in spite of the dry land that stood just outside of it. He was relieved at the shade, glancing around the cave before a shimmering object caught his eye. "I'll be right back." He informed, jumping off of the truck. He immediately realized his decision wasn't the best as he fell into a pile of donkey dung. Wayne swore under his breath as the nineteen year old continued towards the shimmering glow, taking out his flash light before coming face to face with a pile of moving silver substance. He jumped back, before moving forwards once more. His hands reached for the substance, the whole thing seemed to crawl up his arm. He cursed once again, struggling to pull it off.Metal. He thought, as he came in contact with the stretchy yet durable substance, it was hard to wrap his head around. He took a moment to calm down, in which the metal seemed to do the same.

Cool. So you reply to my thoughts, eh? He thought to himself. Spikes protruded up from his arm, which was what he was thinking of. He grinned, and calmed down the metal, before racing back towards the rover with the... animal..? Material...? Whatever it was, it was now sheathed onto his back. He caught up rather easily, and continued on with the rest of the trip though couldn't stop thinking of what had happened.

*****

Having returned to New York, Manhattan, in the Rose Consolidated building, Wayne finally had the time to examine what he'd been carrying along with him for so long. He decided not to come out in public with his finding, but instead hid it away, in fear of what it could be capable of doing. Wayne continued on with his life, well, before the birth of Iron Man. He didn't envy Tony Stark, per say, but instead wanted to try it out. If they could do it, why couldn't he?

Wayne began to work on an arc reactor of his own, albeit nothing seemed to work with his version of the arc reactor though. He decided to break out the... Uregon, though with some alterations. In order to keep it for himself, he took months, maybe years, trying to make it so it would only function with Rose blood, and came out successful. After bonding it with the arc reactor, he was able to continue his project and finally finished it when he'd turned twenty-four. Had it really taken five years? He couldn't quite understand that part either, but instead rushed into the hero-ing business, where he thrived as the competition of Iron Man, with the two constantly one-upping the other.

In spite of this, Wayne has made various hero contacts-- as well as villain enemies but loves his "part-time" job all the more.

Gender: Female

Occupation: Hero
Appearance
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 90 lbs
Hair: Thick, long, black, parted in the center, extends to her mid-back.
Eyes: Black (pupils are still visible)
Build: Slim
Complexion: Rather pale
Image: X
Abilites
Ability: Avian (Corvidae) Physiology
Ability Description: The most obvious effect of this ability would be taking on aspects of a a certain Avian, and in Val's case, it would be a rather noticeable set of raven wings extending from her back and hollow bone structure. This also had a way of manifesting in a limited form of foresight, which is due to how the bird is portrayed in various forms of mythology and folklore.
Strengths:
- Her wings are one of the strongest limbs that allow flight, and can be used in combat should it be necessary.

- While her bones are hollow, like a bird's they aren't brittle or frail but built soundly and are slightly more resilient than a mamal's.

- She can see into the future... somewhat.

Weaknesses:
- Her wings are large and unlike fantastic media we see today, are unable to be compressed and hidden under clothing as that would surely require breaking the limbs. So going out in public is sure to get her noticed and sometimes doors and confined spaces can get a bit.. awkward and they make large targets in combat.

- Even though her bone structure can take a beating, if one where to break, it heals much slower and differently than a mamal's making the damage not worth taking.

- Despite trying to control it, she is unable to foresee anything at will. This means randomly she'll be be able to predict anything in the future, although most often it's nothing special and normally what's for breakfast or when a certain co-worker has another amazing bird pun to share.

- Bird Puns

- Valoire isn't the most forward person. Hell, she tends to not want to involve herself in combat if at all possible and is the last person to ask to speak in front of a crowd.
Personal
Personality: Valorie is a rather soft spoken individual, not really one crave attention or force her options down other’s throats. Although that doesn’t mean she isn’t social, for the woman does enjoy spending time alongside others she is close with as well as meeting those she hasn’t, as long as they aren’t too loud or obnoxious.

Even though he is prudent and self-control he also acts immature when around people his own age, and has some slight childish tendencies. While on his own he tends be rebellious, and tries to bend the rules slightly in his favor, and some of his actions can be quite predictable.
WRITING SAMPLE
Atlas had to grow up quickly because his mother died when he was fairly young, and his father was a drunk that wanted nothing do with him or his younger brother. He was left to raise his brother. Atlas was born in Manhattan of all places, now isn't that where all superheroes are from? It seemed like it. Atlas was his little brothers hero, he was light at the end of the tunnel sort of speak. Even when having to grow quickly Atlas still had those immature tendencies just like any other teenager, but he tried to hide those from his brother.

While he was taking care of his brother at the age of ten, he was struggling hard with his grades, he was weighing taking care of his brother over doing homework and studying for class, he did this for a few years, barely passing with C's, but who cared, his father sure didn't. It was during his freshmen year that his brother told him. "I can take care of myself, you need to worry about school," his little brother was sounding more mature than he had at the age of ten. This was when he began to focus more on his studies, and help his brother when he needed it.

When Atlas turned fifteen he was asked to join a school for young and talented minds, he never thought he would be smart enough to be able to go there - but apparently they thought he had what it takes. He had finally done something good for his life. He studied ever night, and was one of brightest kids in his class. One night he stayed over pass the bell to work on his science project. He was working on way to build a fast computer on a budget. Atlas was always careful to wear non conductive gloves while working on the computer, but this was night that he had forget them at home. There was a sudden power surge on campus, and the computer was fried; along with Atlas getting electrocuted.

Atlas spent the night in the hospital, and he had suffered from second degree burns, and his heart beat was faster than normal, so they wanted to keep an eye on him. After a few days out of the hospital he noticed that he was burning calories faster and faster, it was like he could eat anything. Atlas never really tried in gym, but he decided to give it a shot. While running one day he decided to run full tilt, and he ended up finishing the race first, and this was shocking to everyone. People we saying that he was done in a matter of seconds, and he thought that was physically impossible. But swore up and down that was way that it happened. So that night he came back to field and decided to test his theory. If it was true he could be one of the fastest humans alive. His theory was proven correct.
