Desniel ‘Des’ Levine

Prosthetic Body Part: Left Hand and Wrist


Unique Ability: Installed within the palm and fingertips, his left hand is able to communicate with and unlock near most technology driven devices using the sensors/computers within each contact point of the fingers and palm.


Additional Ability: Brute Strength


History of Obtainment: He used to travel all over photographing the real life of average people. He especially enjoyed European culture, as his family migrated from the continent. During a project within a crowded street fair, Desniel was snapping pictures of the children of vendors of the market. One child had decided to run out into the middle of the street while a large truck was driving by, faster than it should have for the conditions. Desniel had dropped everything he was doing and had on him, dove for the child, yanked the child out of the way at the same time as nearly throwing him from the truck into the crowd of people. He wasn’t fast enough to move away and the front right tire of the truck crushed and mangled his left hand. In attempts to fix what he lost, the surgeons referred him to the prosthetic specialists; soon to be the bane of his existence, giving him a prosthetic left hand with remarkable hacking abilities and strength. His prosthetic addition includes his wrist; near looks and works like his original body part; he covers the metal and ‘ugliness’ of the piece with a black glove and often wears long sleeves so he can avoid anyone noticing his false hand. He “hides” to protect himself from shame and torment.

Additional History: His mother was the photographer of the family. Desniel has been traveling and photographing people for ten years, starting out in his teens with his mother as his mentor. He does not have a close relationship with his older brother – he thinks Desniel is despicable for accepting a prosthetic installation. His father is impartial and his younger sister adores him nonetheless.


Hobbies: Photography, star gazing, mountain climbing, castle hunting


Habits: When he is bored, and has it with him, Desniel will fidget with any part of his cameras. “It keeps me focused. Or it may distract me…who cares.”

Finnian 'Finn' Sorrentino

Name: Finnian 'Finn' Sorrentino

Personality: Independent, Humble, Sarcastic, Sneaky, Precise, Patient

Prosthetic Information

Prosthetic Body Part: Both of his lower legs and knee joints.


Unique Ability: Accelerate. The mechanical workings of his legs and knees can be supercharged, which can triple his running speed. The only downside is that they make a lot of noise in doing so.


Additional Ability: Sneak. The soles of his feet are crafted with a revolutionary new technology that made his footsteps virtually undetectable. The mechanisms in his legs also slow down so that they also make no noise, but he can only move at half his normal speed.


Prosthetic backstory: Finn always loved driving ever since he was a small child, he loved the feeling of freedom it came with, When he got his drivers permit, he would drive cross country at least three times a year. One day when he was driving from Cleveland to Chicago, he was struck by a drunk driver who ran a red light. His lower legs were severed upon impact and he fell into a coma. He woke up a week and a half later and was horrified when he saw the conditions of his legs. He was devastated when he realized that he would have to be under constant care for the rest of his life. Not wanting to be a burden to anyone, he sought out anyone who could make him one again. He came across the prosthetic laboratory and decided that this was the only way he could be happy. He couldn't have been more wrong. The verbal and physical abuse that the prosthetic brought to him was almost to much for him to handle. He often wears long pants to cover up his unsightliness.

Extra Details

Family Members: Mother, Father, Older Sister.


Additional History: His father was the one who taught Finn how to drive and was his role model through most of his life. He was never close with his sister or his mother. His entire family shunned and disowned him after he got his new legs.


Hobbies: Driving, Parkour, and Fencing.


Habits: Finn often has a different song stuck in his head and will tap out the rhythms of said songs oblivious that he is doing so. Can also be seen cracking various parts of his body at random.

"Ghost"

Prosthetic Information

Ghost should have died, gunned down and almost blown up. He was a body guard who helped protect a close friend of his who was working underground. A deal went wrong and Ghost almost lost his life. A grenade was thrown at the doctor and Ghost knocked him out of the way, taking most of the blast, tearing his upper torso apart. Luckily he was saved by his friend. He had been working on a project that he kept secret from ghost. It's a suit that works to keep it's user alive, it has a built in respirator and even shock paddles that activate when the heart stops. It enhances the users reflexes and even makes them slightly stronger. The suit also can use the paddles as tazers while also having boosters on the back of the suit for temporary flight, but after wearing it for a week, it has to be kept on or else the user will die. Once ghost found this out it was too late, but even knowing this he accepted his fate in the suit. From that day onwards, Ghost works as a body guard, throwing away his past and even his name to don the title "Ghost"

Extra Details

Ghost spent 4 years of his life in the marine corps and is an expert shot with his rifle and pistol. He keeps a decent amount of ammunition on him, but never too much as he doesn't enjoy killing, but knows that he has to. Also his suit has a built in flashlight.

Lorelei Torres

Prosthetic Information

Prosthetic: Eyes and Part of the Frontal Lobe of the Brain.


Unique ability: Can produce a powerful laser beam with the ability to cut through metal from visor. Very draining. Only works for a maximum of twenty seconds.


Additional ability: Has multiple types of vision ranging from Infrared to night vision. If connected to surveillance cameras or sensors, can see objects and people in another room.


Additional ability: Memory Storage. Can store vasts amounts of memory as the replaced parts of the frontal lobe is literally a hard drive.


History of Obtainment:Lorelei was smashed in the head with a sledge hammer. She couldn't remember what happened or who did it but thankfully someone called the police immediately and she was rushed to the hospital. Her eyes, part of her skull and the area of the frontal lobe that held most of her memories and some of her emotion and social/romantic interaction was destroyed. The hospital couldn't find away to cure her so she was taken to the prosthetic lab as a last resort. They gave her a visor to replace her eyes and a computer to replace her memories. She later found out she had a mother and a younger sister somewhere in France but the lab told the public she was dead for their own uses. Sometimes Lorelei can remember seemingly random pieces of her memory and tries to spend her spare time piecing her life together.

Extra Details

- Lorelei doesn't want to see her family anyway in fear that she could not love them or they could not love her. She thinks it is better to be dead.


- Lorelei remembers being fairly talented in ballet and can find herself dancing to a song when she is alone


- She cracks her knuckles when she is nervous

Name: Jonah Caro


Age: 23 years old

Personality: Pessimistic, Detail-Orientated, Finicky, Independent, Sarcastic, Judgmental, Impulsive.

Prosthetic Information

Prosthetic Body Part: Spinal cord and selective ribs(no longer has his 'floating' ribs)


Unique ability: Can at will disconnect specific functions of the spinal cord/nervous system from brain with varying affects. Because of this he can endure tasks for longer and harder without negative feedback. This is an extreme version of 'mind over matter' in which he can force his body to produce it's absolute best, and in necessary cases can choose to completely reject the feeling of pain, pushing past as if there was nothing wrong.


Additional Ability: Extreme contortion and flexibility, now that he has an artificial back and rib cage he can will his torso into tight spots much easier and without the concern of breaking anything.


History of Obtainment: Jonah had been driving his way on his motorcycle to the next town over to visit with his mother and father. Along the freeway a semi didn't see him driving in the next lane and pulled over, sending him flying off his bike and into the side of the freeway walls. He had fractured multiple ribs and his spinal cord, which should have ended in him being paralyzed from the neck down.

Extra Details

History: Jonah grew up a privileged kid in his community in Spain. His mother from Spain and his dad from Britain, he was always a bit split on his cultural heritages and never could figure out where he quite belonged. He never was able to appreciate other people outside his family, and tended to push away most of his friends. He never quite got into anything impressive as a child, but when he grew older he became addicted to speed. He always had to drive fast, go fast, run fast, be fast, he began to time himself as he prepared in the morning or burnt his dinner in an attempt to make food quicker. After speeding and the motorcycle crash he had given up that dangerous way of living for the most part, though he does now partake in competitive local bicycling.


Quirks: Jonah tends to over analyze things and look past the bigger picture, and when he does this he often lays his hand against his opposite shoulder and rubs his thumb and middle finger together. He also often cracks his neck, because the connection between synthetic and natural body parts is always of slight discomfort to him. Cracking his neck gives him temporary relief.


Hobbies: Biking, hiking, and surfing. He travels on rare occasions and also likes to go horse riding. He writes poems and short stories, and has won a few small awards for his submissions in local contests.

- Prosthetic Body Part: The epidermis, dermis and lungs.


- Unique Ability: Skin can reflect surroundings allowing Valéria to become completely invisible.


- Additional Ability: Can breathe in anything: Toxic gas, water, etc.


- History of Obtainment: During her first semester at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, Valéria found herself blindfolded, gagged, restrained, and dragged away from her dorm in the middle of the night as some sort of sorority initiation prank. Valéria had heard of the sorority's weird initiation rituals so endured the trial quietly. The sorority sisters left her in the trunk of a car for a couple hours as they went clubbing, and once finished they returned to let Valéria out. Little did they know that some gasoline once kept in a jerrycan in the trunk and spilled, effectively coating the trunk and most of Valéria's clothes with it. When a sister decided to light a cigarette next to the trunk as Valéria was getting out things went horribly awry... Valéria's clothes caught flame, sending the sorority sisters into a panicked frenzy. Long story short, Valéria spent almost 10 minutes on fire, trapped in the burning trunk of a car. Firefighters arrived with only a couple minutes to spare, as the car explored just after they got the charred remains of Valéria free. Rushed to the hospital, there was little hope for Valéria. She was instantly sent to surgery where it was decided new technology would be tested on her. Replacing all skin on her body, fixing many vital organs including completely replacing her lungs (damaged due to smoke inhalation) was no small feat. It was a bloody miracle when Valéria came out of a coma two months later. Sometimes though, she wishes the firefighters had been a couple minutes late...

- Additional History: Valéria was her mother's pride. She used to show her off in any way she possibly could. When Valéria got accepted into the University of Economics in Bratislava she was ecstatic. When she heard about the fire... Things got bad. When she found out her daughter's entire body was covered in prosthetics... Things got worse. Valéria was no longer her pride. She was her shame. Valéria's mother committed suicide two days after Valéria woke up from her coma. In the two months her daughter was hospitalized she never visited once.

- Prosthetic eyes [metallic color.]


- Night vision / Kaylen's nocturnal. She has to wear protective glasses during the day bu can see as clear as if the sun was shining at night.


- She is capable of seeing things from a greater distance more clearly.


- History: When she was little, Kaylen was allergic to the sun. It was a kind of photo sensitivity that no one has ever seen before. Her eyes would burn and get agitated, making her blind for a short amount of time until she would go back into the darkness. eighteen years she's lived in dark rooms with only a candle to see since it was the only amount of light she could bare. Until she was able to get prosthetic eyes, in which never burned, but they weren't meant for the sun. Hyper vision sunglasses she uses during the day, and at night, her metallic eyes would dimly glow.
