Hello there. If you're here, you're probably wondering just what the hell 'Des is doing'. It's a common thought it my friend's mind that often goes unanswered because, hell, they don't voice it out loud and I'm no god damn mind reader. This thread has probably caught your interest in one way or another, because you either know what I'm talking about, have a slight idea, or are really in the dark about what I'm searching for with this thread.
A Proofreader / Editor / Beta is a person - in a short, general description - that proofreads (re: proofreader) a writer's work and provides advice and opinions on what the writer should do next or edit about what they currently have put down. And that, my dear reader, is what I'm looking for.
As my first adventures into the terrifying world into 'Authoring', I need somebody to help guide me along the path of this "Pass or fail, no in between" experience. I'll need encouragement and advice and many other thing that have to do with these general ideas. I think you get the point.

hat I Will Share
This 'project', so to call it, will require a lot of communication between us. I am willing to share email & Skype for 'chatting' about the story and you will also have access to all information in the folder on Google Docs. If need be, if Skype and Email is not available to you, we can text as long as you are in the United States. I may occasionally funnel off my muses to you about what I may want to add, so I apologize if I get spammy.

You can expect me to be willing to work with you and do my best to follow your advice. I will do my best to keep working until this damn thing is finished. Additionally, I will attempt to communicate with you the best I can and regularly update.

I fully expect you to be stern, but don't be down right rude. It's irritating and will just make me be a bitch to you back. Also, please don't just disappear. I can't pay you for this service (I really wish I could), so if you no longer can do this then please tell me. I won't be mad, I won't be upset. I'll understand completely. Also, I expect you to

leak any information. Please understand that you may or may not be working with more than one Beta - so therefor, don't argue.
I'm sorry to say this, but I would like to avoid Super Moderators, Moderators, and Admins from beta'ing my work. No, I'm not mad at you guys, you guys just have your hands full with things already and I don't want to add more work to your plate. If worse comes to worse, though, and if you're really desperate, consider it.
