Prompt of the Day

So, I've been surfing the site for a little bit now. I'm still very very new, but I have to say that I am loving the set up here. I've been so many places lately looking for a good spot to RP online, and they've all seemed to be cluttered, sticky, poorly formatted, some very hard to read. This is clean, nicely organized, and has a lot going on both IC and OOC.


I think it would be really cool to have a Prompt of the Day sort of thing. Like a writing prompt where people can post after it with whatever comes to mind (characters, prose, poetry, stream of consciousness, plot ideas, etc). It might also be cool to do a plot-wrench of the day sort of thing. A random event, character, or item that people can put in their threads if they want.


Anyways. Just a random thought. Thanks for all you hard working admins do every day. I know it can be thankless and sometimes tedious work. Ya'll are the bomb.

This could be something that they might consider for the newsletter. I think it's a very cute idea. I'm sure someone would be able to start something like this in the Prose and Poetry forum, too.

Something along the lines of that, yes. I'm not sure how you guys fold everything together, but what I was thinking is maybe someone could make a prompt thread for each month, and you could feature some of the responses in the newsletter.

I like the idea. It's easy and interactive, and I think members would get a kick out of it.
