You awaken to find yourself in a forest. You're not sure where this forest is, or where you are. You don't know anything about this forest, honestly. Trees tower above you, their branches interlocking to form archways. Light filters through the canopy of leaves overhead, but green permeates the air around you and tints everything you see.
It would almost be intimidating, if it weren't for the calming air and serenity of the woods. Birds chirped and flew around, landing lightly on the tree branches and singing to each other before taking to the air again in some unspoken dance. The light breeze cooled the surprisingly warm air and rustled the leaves, adding to the white noise of the forest fauna. A bunny hopped in the underbrush. You would have paid it no heed, except when it bounded into a patch of light, you noticed a pair of antlers sprouting from between its ears...
Was that a Jackalope? You're certain that was the proper name for it, despite being rather rusty on you mythological creatures. You're not afraid, per say. Then again, you know nothing of Jackalopes aside from what they look like. You're more curious than anything.
