Okay, so I'm a new member, and it no longer displays the "10 post/24 hour rule" message above everything; however, I am still unable to post on certain forums (for example, actual roleplay creation forums, like the fantasy or fantasy character forums). I have a roleplay set up and ready to go, but this means I am unable to actually start it.


What do?

You might need to wait for a bit. Sometimes it takes a while for the system to notice that your account has surpassed the Newbie restrictions.


 
Also, you should be able to access the roleplay forums. That is not part of the new user restrictions.

and I can look at them, but not post to them. Where the "new thread" button should be, there's a lil message that says "you do not have sufficient privileges to post here".

Took me a moment but I figured it out! It actually has nothing to do with your permissions! Users can't post threads in the other forums like character, ooc, and extra pages. Instead if you go here (Fantasy | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum) and create a thread you'll notice at the top four tabs. In character RPing, overview, character sign-up, and out of character chat! You get these four threads automatically! And an option to request more tabs if you like!
