As the birds began to chirp outside in the morning sunlight, Victoria managed a small groan before burying her face beneath the sheets -- that day would be the first day of school for the girl, and unfortunately, she wasn't exactly thrilled. Victoria laid there for a few long moments, her body curled up beneath the surface of the sheets, before soon pulling them away from her body, and managing to sit herself up. The girl stretched out her slender figure, before yawning, whilst taking a glimpse out her wide open window to see nothing but pure, bright, sunlight. Blinking, Victoria forced herself to look away, and once she did so, she found herself shuffling to the bathroom, where she began to get herself ready for the day -- flatironing her hair, only to put it up in a high pony tail, while applying a bit of makeup. Once she was nearly ready, Victoria realized that she still needed to get properly dressed, which happened to be rather tiring for her. The girl's eyes darted to her alarm clock that rested on her nightstand, which read the time -- 7:17am. She then proceeded to pull out an outfit at random. Victoria decided to settle with the slightly ripped shorts, and low v-neck shirt. After she was dressed properly, Victoria took a seat on the edge of her bed, before pulling on her favorite pair of vans. Once she decided that she was ready to face the day, Victoria grabbed both her phone and keys, before scurrying downstairs, and out the front door -- Victoria didn't eat breakfast, for some odd reason. She claimed that it made her sick, though it was truly her nerves that were too tense to handle even a thought about a meal. Victoria locked the front door with her house key, before finally climbing into her truck, and bringing it to life. The engine purred at her as she slid the seat belt over her body. As Victoria placed her phone into the cup holder, she shifted into drive, before managing to arrive at school with minutes to spare. And, thankfully, she had found a decent parking space.

Alex awoke to the annoying sound of his alarm. The early morning sunlight filled his room. He enthusiastically turned off his alarm and jumped out of bed to greet the day. He knew that today was special. He could feel it in his bones. Alex began to eat his breakfast. The soft texture of the scrambled eggs appealed to his tastebuds. He then proceeded to choose his favorite t-shirt and jeans. He preferred to eat before changing because he thought that the food might stain his clothes. After his hunger was satisfied, he grabbed his phone and bag and proceeded to lock the door. He double checked if it was locked. "You can never be too sure," he mumbled to himself. He joyfully leaped into his trusty Ford Mustang. He smiled as his powerful car roared to life.

He greeted the people he met as he walked through the corridor, until he saw her. It was as if everything was in slow motion. A beam of sunlight was caught in her hair. The gentle light of the morning sun highlighting her beautiful face. Alex was breathless. His chest ached. He had never experienced anything like it before. Even though he is familiar with the term love, he has never really felt it towards someone other than his family.

Victoria bit her bottom lip gently as she made her way up the steps of the main building of her school. The girl honestly had no idea where she was going, but once she was in the hallway of the large building, she was lost in the crowd. A few people nudged her, causing her eyes to narrow -- she didn't exactly like to be pushed, or even touched, by individuals that she didn't even know. Victoria soon pushed through the crowd, and before she could turn anywhere else, a smaller building came into view. Thankfully, the library had a few signs, and a few posters with books on them, therefore, she knew where she was going. Victoria picked up her paced as she neared closed to the library, before finding herself gently gripping the metal handle, which was rather cold to the touch. After pulling the door open and entering the building, a smile lit up her face as she took a slow glance around the library -- only two students were present, though they didn't seem to be enjoying their stay, it looked as if they were being tutored. Victoria soon found herself in front of the check in/out counter, where an elderly woman smiled cheerfully and greeted her. "You must be Victoria, yes? It's wonderful to see you, dear -- you're very beautiful!" Victoria nodded carefully before smiling at the compliment. "Thank you, very much... It's great to see you too, though I'm afraid I have a few books to pick up." The woman chuckled and slowly took Victoria's schedule in both her index finger and her thumb. "Hmmm.... English, yes. P.E., smart choice. Foods, yes. And, lastly, Art. Great schedule, I'm sure you'll enjoy all of your classes." The woman placed her schedule on the counter top, before pulling out an English book, and Art book, as well as a P.E. shirt, and shorts. "There you go! The foods class has a book for you to use." Victoria smiled widely and nodded, before taking her schedule, the books in her arms, as well as the P.E. uniform. "Thank you, again! I'm sure we'll see each other around, miss?" "Oh, pardon my manners, Mrs Melton." The elderly woman smiled once more with another nod. "All right -- bye, for now, Mrs. Melton." Victoria waved as she exited the door, before glancing at her schedule. "Locker number 403... Where in the hell..." Victoria glanced around, though she didn't catch sight of any lockers.

"Need help?" Alex asked a he approached the attractive young woman. "The lockers are this way." He led her through the long corridor. "Those look heavy. Let me carry some for you." Alex offered a hand.

As Victoria continued to glance around the school, she only noticed another's presence as a masculine voice offered to help her. The girl soon turned her gaze to the male, before nearly dropping her books -- once she finally got to examine him up close, the books felt like dead weight on her arms. "U-Uh.. Sure, thanks..." Victoria eagerly followed him, before shifting the weight of her books to the other arm. The male soon offered to carry her books, and though she only had two, plus the P.E. clothes, she eventually handed him the books, whilst keeping hold of the uniform. "Thank you..." She murmured softly -- she had never received positive or friendly behavior from another person, especially a man.

"What's your name? You seem new here." Alex carried her books until they arrived at the lockers. The muscles that he developed from sports made him bear the load with ease. "My name is Alex in case you were wondering. What was your locker number again?" They eventually arrived at her locker. Alex gave her her books. Their hands lightly brushed each other. "If you need any help, just tell me. I'll be happy to lend a hand." He said with a smile. He then proceeded to his locker to grab his things.

"I'm Victoria... And, yeah, is it that obvious?" Victoria looked at him, before a smirk spread across her face. Victoria's eyes traveled along Alex's muscles, though as soon as she caught herself staring, she quickly looked away. As he asked what her locker number was, she held up her schedule to point at the number 403. Once they arrived at her locker, she smiled before opening the small door, shortly after twisting the combination into the lock. As their hands met, her fingertips tingled before gripping onto the books that she held. Victoria nodded slowly, whilst watching him watch away. She then turned and gently pushed the books into her locker, whilst shoving the P.E. uniform on top of the small pile. Victoria then took another glance at her schedule, before sighing. "English, first.." She murmured whilst she pulled the English book back out of her locker and away from the small heap in her locker.
