Brenna | 18

Finally it was Summer time, and Brenna was officially graduated from High School. Now Brenna would be working full time at the Floral Shop and Boutique in which Brenna worked. The young woman loved the store. Brenna was excited, as the Shop would be entering their busy season. But if only Brenna knew what would really be in store for her this Summer...Oblivious, Brenna stepped out of her car and locked it before entering into work, saying good morning to her co-workers. Stepping behind the counter, Brenna set her purse aside and stuffed her cellphone into her jeans pocket, preparing herself for the day, and tied her long auburn hair into a quick pony tail for work, the smell of flowers and perfume filling the store and the warm weather blowing in at them as the front door of the Flower Shop opened and closed with the first arriving and going customers.

Luna/Lumi

Hot summer day, the heat of the sun made Lumi smile as she walked along the sideway swinging her arms. It was nice day for a walk and a nice day to fulfill some errands, she held a crumbled list in her hand reading off the small bulletins with her messing hand writing. Her first stop was a shop she had never been there before but, the reviews were good so it was worth a shot. Lumi turned her heels as she stood in front of the shop mouthing the words of the shop name, after she confirmed that this was the place she walked in looking around. Tons of flowers and many other things but, it was mostly flowers, she walked up to the counter of the store. "Hello? Could you help me with something?"<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/Sketch6519312.png.9310614de9851c6068a2182db771600d.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="123284" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/Sketch6519312.png.9310614de9851c6068a2182db771600d.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

"Sure. What are you looking for? Anything specific?" The reply came from Brenna, the young woman stepping from behind the counter to help the young woman that had just walked in. From what Brenna could tell, this girl wasn't much older then she was. Maybe early twenties at the most. Ready and happy to start the work day, Brenna smoothed her hands upon the green apron, Brenna's first name stitched in black letters on the front of the apron. Brenna offered a smile to the girl as Brenna waited for the reply.

Lumi shot the girl a smile "Well if I remember correctly this is an Boutique right? So do you have some articles of clothing? I need a dress and people say it's fairly priced here so...here I am!" she made a slight giggle trying to sound at least normal and not so awkward. While Lumi proceeded thoughts about certain things she started to eye the place around it seemed small and humble, it was nice and it was a very nice atmosphere. She also started to study the girl in front of her, she was cute. Hm...She would keep this in mind.

The young woman nodded and guided the other girl over to the dresses. Perhaps not surprisingly, the dresses were Spring fashioned and floral patterned. "These here are our Spring dresses." Brenna began to leaf through them, showing the other girl the various options. All in some different way had a different floral pattern on them. The strong smell of perfume they sold could be smelled nearby, adding to the already overwhelming scent of the flowers and roses they sold.

Lumi eye's looked over the dresses they were all nice, yes but that wasn't what she was looking for "Do you have any darker shades? These seem all light and colorful but I'm looking for something darker" Lumi kept the smile on the face to look pleasing. "It's no problem if you don't have any of those colors! I just prefer something darker" she most likely was gonna wear the light dresses that were presented but, then again she wouldn't look good it would be a little odd.

"Hm..." The girl put away the current dress in which Brenna was holding. "We do have a small selection for funerals..." The girl muttered thoughtfully, leading the girl to the small selection of darker floral patterned dresses. Brenna went silent, allowing Lumi to look over the selection of various dresses and accessories. Brenna loved working here everyday, and was glad to be finally going to full time and earn more money.

Lumi looked through the dresses grinning "Although these dresses hold a gloomy subject I truly was looking for it" she flipped through the floral dresses before picking out one. It was above knee length and was the perfect shade of some sort of black, "I'll take this" she looked over to the girl. Lumi's grin seemed to be slightly bigger than before, odd wasn't it?

The young woman indeed notice the bit of an odd smile, but Brenna didn't think much of it. At least not right now. "Anything else I can help you find?" Brenna wondered, tucking a lock of brown hair that had come loose from its pony tail.

Lumi dug the list out of her pocket reading up on it carefully "Uh...um no it appears I'm done with my shopping here for today" she quickly tucked the list back in her pocket in a messy manner before looking back up at the girl.

The young woman nodded and went to the cash register with the other and checked out everything. "There you are. You have a great day." Brenna smiled once more at the young woman as Brenna handed the girl the bag.

Lumi took the bag out of the girl's hand gently, which felt odd to Lumi for a reason. "You too m'ma" she said with a smile before turning her heels and walking out the door, she held a nice smile as she reached the side walk. Lumi for some odd reason enjoyed her heels clicking on the side walk, made her feel strong for some reason.

As Brenna's day ticked by, the girl couldn't stop thinking of the other. Brenna bit at her lower lip. The thing Brenna kept secret all her life, was that Brenna wasn't interested in men. Brenna preteded to be, but Brenna just couldn't stand relationships with men. Brenna always backed down when men got too close. They simply made Brenna nervous.

As time went by for Lumi she continued doing her deeds, after she finished her last errand. She held the bags with her left arm as she used her other hand to use her phone, she was ordering things online for her own...personal use. "I haven't tried this before....but it takes two" she muttered under her breath as she hoped that no one heard her. Lumi on her journey home passed the small flower shop again she stopped for a moment to look at the store only because she probably was gonna come back. She then continued walking.

The clock ticked five o' clock in the evening. Closing time. Letting out a long tired sigh, Brenna released her long hair from its pony tail and combed it out with her fingers as Brenna gathered her purse and other items before heading out of the floral shop. It had been a long day, and Brenna was tired, not used to working full time. But Brenna loved it. And that was all the difference in the working world right? Letting out a long deep breath, Brenna headed to her car and unlocked it, lazily chucking her purse into the passenger seat.

Lumi layed on her bed, she rolled over with a frown as she grabbed her phone from the night stand. She huffed before sitting up and scrolling down on the little screen, it wasn't that late for her and she had a longs away from going to bed. She sighed throwing herself off the bed, she still held the phone tight in her hand. Lumi walked out of her room and went into the kitchen.

(ooc: Sure that could work. Shall I say her car breaks down after work when your character strolls by? And its storming outside?)

As Brenna made her way to work, the young woman was saddened to see that it was raining outside. An occasinal rumble of thunder echoed lightly through the dark gray sky. Turning the corner a block from work, Brenna's car made a strange noise before suddenly rolling to a stop. "Crap." Brenna muttered, not wanting to get out into the down pour.

Lumi looked outside to see how hard it was storming, oddly enough she grabbed one of her umbrellas and slapped on a jacket. She walked out side opening the umbrella and began to stroll around, she loved how the water and thunder sounded. It felt nice and oddly smoothing, she made a peaceful sigh before making a soft giggle.

Pulling out her cellphone, Brenna cursed when she saw that she had forgotten to put her phone on her charger during the night. The battery was dead. There was no getting help via that way now. The only thing Brenna could do was walk. Which she really didn't wish to do right then in the storm. Reluctantly, Brenna climbed from the car, instantly getting wet, and slammed the car door closed after gathering what she needed to, grumbling the entire time. Clearly this day wasn't meant to be her day.

Lumi moved her eyes up, she looked at the darken sky. It was an awfully odd time to be out, she took in a deep breath for some odd reason she loved this type of scent and this time of day. She smiled to her self but soon pulled in away as she saw a figure wondering around, she didn't want to see odd to who ever was there.

Suddenly though the figure hurriedly approached Lumi. "Could you help me please? My car broke down and my phone died and I'm late for work." It was Brenna, from the flower shop. But in Brenna's frantic morning, the girl didn't recognize who she spoke to yet.
