I was a born sailor of the seas. I smirk as I saw the ship of in the distance. My jolly roger painted on the side of my ship as we approach."Do not sink this ship, we'll gut it for treasure and take anyone who is useful." I tell my men as I sit down in my command ship as we start to fire at the engines. Once they were out we would board.

The alarm of the ship began to ring as I dropped the crate I was carrying. "What is going on?!" I yelled out, sure enough someone responded by telling me it was a pirate attack. "W-what?! I'm not ready for this!" I look around terrified, seeing if there was anywhere to hide. I found a crate big enough for me to fit in. "There's nowhere better than that I guess!" I quickly jumped into it, covering the top.

I stand as the engine went out on their ship. We pull beside it and the the docking ports goes. I let my men steal all the treasure and take the men up to the to the commmand deck. I flop down in the captains chair as I smile as everyone."Commander, we found him in a box." I look over the boy and nod to the first group but when they get up to move over there i stop them and point to the smaller second group.

"H-hey what are you doing?!" I try to break free from the men holding me, but they're much stronger. "Look, let these people go they have families to go back to!" I struggled harder and harder, moving slightly closer to the woman on the captain's chair. "You can't just do what you want with them! They're not toys where you can use them and throw them away after!" One of the men slams down hard on my back, sending me down on my knees.

I smirked at him with his blonde hair and orange jacket. I reach forward and cup under his chin."You might want to keep quiet, or you'll loose that tongue for talking back to the captain." I motion to the second smaller group and they drag him over there. They walk back to me and I smile."This is everyone."

 

[Jack Rhode]

I stand there, unable to do anything. If I had stood up against her a second time they'd surely kill me. I shook my head in shame, I couldn't do anything. The only thing I could do was stand there, waiting for something to happen.

I stand and walk to the small second group I smile at them."You all get the fun job of working in the major parts of me ship." I say before I walk over to the first group."And you all will work in the engine room, they are always needing new people down there, they die to fast." I say before I turn and start to walk out."The one with the blond hair and orange jacket, send him up to the command deck as soon as he is changed."

 

[Jack Rhode]

"What?! Hey come on now you can't be serious!!" I was pulled away by the men and thrown into some sort of locker room. Then one of them threw a black and red uniform at me. I didn't really like it, but I was forced to wear it. I put on the uniform, then my jacket over it. This was my lucky jacket, and I needed all the luck. I reported to the command deck as ordered.

I smile as he reports to the command deck. I slowly stand as I look at him and walk over."You will replace my old errand boy, he had an unfortunate accident when he talked back, it to two days to get his guts off the outside of the ship. You will address me as Milady Samantha or Milady at all time, now tell me your name." I say as I sit back down in my chair.

I had no choice but to play along for now. "I'm Terry Hawkins, Milady Samantha." I bowed, looking down at my feet. When I looked back up, I realized that the captain was really beautiful. It didn't hit me before because of the commotion, but now that it did, I felt myself blush. I wasn't sure what was going on in my head, but I had to be careful.

"I think i'll call you Terr." I said as I looked out at the pilots deck below us. All my deck had was my chair and a large map of space, the pilots deck which we overlooked had the three pilots of the ship and everyone else in the chain of command."If you stay around long enough I might promote you to officer and you can board ships with me, so please be good and don't cause trouble."

"What am I supposed to do until then, you haven't been really clear on my job description, Milady." I remembered to address her in the correct manner. I didn't want to end up with my guts hanging on the outside of the ship. "Your wish is my command I suppose, Milady Samantha." I had to play along for now, I would find a way to escape once the time was right.

I smiled at him as I leaned back in my chair."You are to run my errands, make sure my ship runs smoothly from the back side. First I need you to run over to guns and have them prepare for another attack and then run over to shields and tell them to put them on high, this one might have weapons. Then lastly. I need you to run down to power and tell them to ramp it up, then return here and I will give you new orders."

"Right away Milady!" I responded as I ran off into the corridors of the ship, doing everything in the order she suggested. "Great, now I get to run around a ship all day. I should look for an exit while I'm at it." I thought to myself, looking carefully as I traversed the various corridors of this ship. After returning from the power core, I noticed the escape pods. "Good, when no one is noticing I can escape with one of these." I made a mental note as I reported back on the command deck.

When he got back there was a small girl sitting in the captains chair."Welcome back, Mamma told me to have you wait here." I came back into the room and patted her head."Welcome back, I want you to water Summer here during the attack." I said and sat down in my chair as Summer stood and held his hand."My last playmate disappeared." She said before she left. I turn to him and draw my sword placing it at his neck."I treat Summer like my child, if she is hurt or sad you will join my last attendant."

This captain gets crazier by the second, I thought to myself. First I had to run around the ship now I had to take care of a little girl. "Hey Summer, I'm Terry. Milady wants me to take good care of you, so how about we go play a game?" I responded enthusiastically, putting on my best smile. This was definitely better than taking orders from the captain.

Summer smiled and held his hand as they walked through the ship."Mamma wants me to be in my room for the attack that is going to happen." She said and pulled him into a room that was on the top of the ship. Summer laid down on the bed and then picked up a book."Read this to me!"

I picked up the story book Summer handed to me. "Robin Hood huh..." I sat on the chair beside the bed and opened the book up. I began to read to Summer. I then realized that she saw the captain as Robin Hood, stealing wealth from the rich and giving it to the poor. It was an interesting way to see a pirate, but the captain was still a pirate. I shrugged it off as I continued to read the story, a smile on my face the entire time.

Summer smiled as he read Robin Hood to me."Mama is just like him!" I said and smiled."Everytime we go to port mama takes half the money and goes to give it to the orphanages at the port." She said and smiled at him."Are you Little John?" She asked as she looked up at him.

I blushed slightly when Summer asked me that. I never really thought about the captain's true intentions, if they were good there would be no reason to escape. "I guess I am Little John, although your mama doesn't think so." I responded with a smile and a soft laugh, patting Summer on the head.

Summer smiled as a light suddenly came on over her door."We can't go out the door now, the people who work in the engine are walking by, mama says if I go near them I could get sick." There was a small window in the door but you couldn't see out unless you got close. The people walking by were skin and bones, even the people who had just joined. The engine ran on atomic energy and people who worked in it died quickly.

At that moment I knew why she held people captive, to send them to a fate worse than death. Seemingly, the Captain spared me from that fate. Still though, she was sending people to die in the engine room was hardly justified. "Hey Summer, your mamma, did she tell you anything about me?" I asked the little one, trying to figure out what the captain truly thought about me.

Summer looked up at him and smiled."Mama said she liked your spirit." She said and leaned against him scared as sirens went off through the ship and then we heard flak hitting the shields. Summer grew scared cause she knew that the attack wasn't suppose to happen yet, Mamma always came to visit her first.

"Hey don't be scared, everything will be alright." I wrapped my arm around the young girl, comforting her and putting on a smile. "Your mamma is really cool huh..." I was running out of things to say, so I started to talk about how I liked the captain a little. "She's really pretty too..."

Summer smiled and nodded holding onto him. A while later I came into the room seeing them together I smiled and walked over Summer asleep against Terr."Thank you for watching her. You may leave to rest now, i'll take care of her now."
