Team rocket were still looking for a base of operations till they saw a fancy manor and Inside was alot of pokemon that looked rare. Jessie and meowth wanted to go in and steal the pokemon but james,He realised who this belonged to.
James: No um i think we can make this a secret base instead..since this house might belong to a friend of the family.
Jessie and meowth: Huh?
James: Well you see.. I have this friend who was my 2ed crush but i thought she didn't see me like that so i thought of her like a cousin at first. She was a sweetheart but our families didn't like each other because of how each one worked. I was born into money and Kiri worked for it. When i was laying in a bathtub Kiri was in line at a bath house. And when we were together for rare meetings we were inseparable. We would always play hide and seek, dance to the radio and compare collections. When she had to move to Kalos, she promised to send letters, that was before his incident with the proposals.
He never heard from his cousin since and worried about her safety.
Meanwhile Ash and his friends also found the mansion and asked to stay for the night.
Melody: Ah Travelers. Come in. Im Melody And i own the manor.
Ash: Im ash and this is my buddy Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pika pika.
Bonnie: Im bonnie and this is my pokemon dedenne
Dedenne: Nenene!
clemont: Im clemnont,bonnies brother.

Melody: My what nice names and pokemon too. My daughter loves pokemon too but.*Her face saddens.* Since our move here 6 years ago she rarely is social. Before our move we lived in kanto partnered in a family business. now dont get me wrong some of the reunions are tolerable except when some of the millionaire families show up. My daughter ,Kiri, Loved her friend James. They were the best of friends and they promised each other to go on a journey and help one another. Until my boss's idea for poor james to get married happened. Kiri never saw him since that day. Alll she got was letters from unknown addresses. saying he was okay and that he would visit someday. and protect her like he promised.
Ash: wow.
Meanwhile meowth was told to go in the garden to look for a way in and when he got in it was in the music room where Kiri was,
Kiri: Oh a meowth!
meowth: Oh no!
Kiri: aw cool you talk.. wait you talk!My friend James mentioned a talking meowth in his letters! do you know where he is?! Is he nearby!
Meowth: *Geting an idea and smiles* Yes yes. but he doesn't know if it is you since he works for a top organization ya know. for all you know he can think your one of his enemies. Ill make you a deal..*He points to a collar on his neck* This fancy collar of mine relays all of our talks so he can hear you but wont respond till you prove its the same person he thinks you are.
Kiri nodded and walked to a guitar...
Kiri: We both hated our upper-class lessons but he loved music because i was in them.We always did duets. but. If your right.. He would come.*She started to play*
