Printing

Hello RPNation!


I had a question: on other RP-Sites I've been on, I've been able to toggle the threads to "simple" formats, in order to copy and paste them to preserve on word documents. I was trying to figure out a way to do that here.


It was usually as a "printer friendly" option, but I can't seem to find that option here.


Does anyone have any recommendations for it?

We don't have that, no. Your browser might be able to save as a word document, but I don't know what that would do to the formatting. Sometimes copy/paste will work well for that, depending on what you're pasting it into, but you'd probably have to do it for each individual post instead of for the thread as a whole.

That's what I'm afraid of...but if I must, I must copy and paste all 500 posts x.x

If you want to save them just for reference, and not later editing, you might try the print option anyway. Using Chrome, I'm able to print to a .pdf and save that on my computer.

I unfortunately don't use Chrome. I'll have to play with firefox. And yes, it's just for reference/preservation.

Most browsers have some sort of "save for offline use" printing and/or "save as." I'm not familiar with Firefox but I'd assume it has something that will work.
