Welcome fellow programmer, self-taught? Python is my newest learnt language, learnt it about half a year ago or a bit more side-by-side with another one, mainly to tackle my laboratory exercises for last semester in the easiest way possible (just tasks you have to do on your own or paired up depending on the class, I don't know what it's called anywhere else other than my country) x)

Used to code myself as a freelance s/w engineer. Toiled away for these folks for quite a while, until I switched gears and went for a career in illustration and everything artsy instead. I do not know Python all that well, but I'm fairly adept in C99, C++11, C# and a sip of Lua. I'd pick up other languages on the go when I had to, but that was a really long time ago -- I barely remember the ones I put to use once in a blue moon, like Go, PHP or Ruby. Never got into web dev.
