Previous year's badges?

Sorry if I'm posting too many questions, ha ha.


But what will happen to the badges I've accumulated in 2016, upon entering 2017?


Do they still stay on my profile?


Because I haven't seen anyone with tons and tons of badges, so I was just worried that they disappeared on New Year's or something.


They're cute! :3 The ghost one is my fav. I'll have to take a screenshot if they DO disappear.

You keep them all   It's possible (from Account Settings > Badges) to turn off any you don't want, so some people that have a lot have turned off all but a few (like me - I have more than the four that are showing, but that's what I want up right now).

Wait, what? I can choose which ones I want to show?? Oh! That's very useful! Right now, I like them all, but I can see if potentially getting too cluttered. Thanks again!
