Preevet! That's hello in my native language of Russian! My name is Anya! I'm 14, and recently moved to the United states. Please be patient with me as my grammar isn't the best, yes?


Well, I've been living in the united states since I was 12 and one half. I have an older brother and my parents. It's alot different here in America yes? You guys do some weird stuff. And the language is hard!


Recently I have been watching Anime shows and really enjoy them. My favorites are Black Butler,Hetalia, Soul Eater, And Tokyo ghoul.


I hope to have fun roleplaying and making new friends.

I come from the country. I can honestly say no American that comes from the country is civilized. I hear that some of the city people are. (Begins playing the banjo)

Hey!! I'm a redneck! And probably crazy, but oh well. We're actually quite nice. Ain't y'all ever heard of southern hospitality?!


Now that that's out of the way, welcome to RpN! I can't watch anime as much as I'd like, because I'm busy with work and school. I watch some anime with my best friend IRL. She introduced me to Soul Eater. She says I'd get along with Death the Kid. I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not. I'm not that OCD... Oooh, look! Symmetry! *runs off*

I is a redneck as well, although I is a yankee. "Spits in bucket" Being a redneck course is fun and all, but using ductape for everything is the best. @Kestrel

I too, find offense at the notion that just because we're Americans that means we're loud, stupid, ignorant hicks. We are a great people and a proud nation. If you travel outside the country you will find that there are stupid, ignorant, loud hicks everywhere. I had a woman try and tell me that Americans don't really celebrate Thanksgiving. When I looked at her and said, Yes we do, she didn't believe me because her 'American' internet friend said "they' don't. I'm an American standing right in front of her.


Anya, please, if you're learning English, don't look to Anime to be a great example of good English. Anime can be fun but it's not great English. You need to read good literature for that!

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.


If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with either the moderators of your forum (the genre), the Super moderators, or even the admin staff. You can do that here: Site Questions & Information


If you have any questions you need to address to me, please tag me in your comments as I don't always get to every single response in every welcome thread and I end up missing a lot of questions. You can do that by using the @ before my handle.

@Xylin fine, then I shall narrow it down to Americans from the country. It was meant to be in jest, as an American I am intitled to make fun of America. It is a "free" country after all.
 
This is a free country but I do take umbrage at anyone who goes about being an apologist for our country as if we're the embarrassment of the Western World. We're not, we're an awesome country and we're really lucky to be able to call it home. And yes, there are some people in the country who are an embarrassment (people of walmart), but we're an awesome people.
 
Thank you all for welcoming me! And yes, there are some weird people at the walmart near my house.


And, this country is alot different than Russia, in a good way! And there are some obnoxious people in Russia as well,which is most of my relatives! Especially when my uncle gets a hold of vodka or something!
