PP2 The New Legacy

Kommissar led Beca into the room, showing Beca where everything was when they got in there. "If you put your suitcase in front of the dresser, we can both unpack everything." She smiled warmly.

Beca nodded and rolled her suitcase over to the large dresser. She knelt down next to the bag and unzipped it before looking up at Kommissar.

"Alright. Let's start."

It took around ten minutes to pur everything away the way Beca wanted them. Once it was done and they stood up, Beca stopped Kommissar from walking away by hugging her. She didn't say anything.

Kommissar smiled and hugged the girl back. She opted to stay silent and looked at her daughter. Calling Beca her daughter sounding so comfortable, yet so foreign to Kommissar. She pulled out of the hug and stood back.

As Kommissar pulled back, Pieter knocked on the door and peeked in. He smiled as he saw the two woman looking a bit more comfortable than before.

"Kleine maus, are you done with your unpacking? We must leave soon."

Beca nodded and turned to Pieter, a smile on her face still. "Yes, Papa. I'm done." Pieter grinned at the name before looking to his wife.

"Everything is ready for an hour from now. We need to leave in twenty minutes to make sure to get there early." Pieter told his wife as he walked further into the room and took her hand.

Kommissar smiled and nodded. This would be their first trip out as a family, and she was quite excited. She squeezed Pieter's hand slightly.

"Look around your room while we wait, tiny mouse. Your mother and I will be in our room. We'll get you when it's time to leave." Pieter said before taking his wife into the other room.

Beca walked around the hotel room and examined everything. She laid in the bed and closed her eyes, trying to get used to the feeling.

Pieter shook his head before pulling the blonde woman into a deep kiss, his hands around her waist. He just wanted to take a few moments to express how hapoy he was to his lover.

After about twenty minutes of Pieter jist embracing and cuddling his wife, he stood and walked with Kommissar to Beca's room.

When they got in there, the girl was sleeping. Pieter chuckled and decided to try something. The man walked in and lifted the sleeping Bella onto his hip.

Beca cuddled into the man's shoulder without waking up. She looked just like a little kid.

Kommissar smiled and watched the two. All three had already managed to become a little family, and it made her really happy.

"Come on, leibe. We'll get her into the car and wake her up when we get there." Pieter said, kissing his wife before adjusting Beca on his hip.

Kommissar nodded and opened the door so her husband and daughter could get out without any problems. She then followed suite. She smiled at the sight of Pieter holding Beca.

Pieter set Beca in the backseat of their car gently and strapped her in. He waited for Kommissar to get into the passenger seat before driving to the restaurant.

Beca woke up half way to the restaurant and looked around. She rubbed her eyes as she looked at the people in front.

"Mommy?"

Kommissar looked at her daughter. "Yes, maus?" That nickname had grew on them all and Kommissar couldn't help but notice quite how much it fit the sleepy girl. "Did you have a nice sleep?"

Beca nodded and looked at the woman. "Yes, I slept good. Why are we in a car?" she asked, her voice a little slurred. It was obvious that she had just woken up.

"We are going to the restaurant, meine kleine maus." Pieter told her, taking a quick look in the rear view mirror.

Kommissar nodded. "We didn't want to wake you, so Pieter carried you to the car." She smiled and chuckled slightly. It was obvious waking up outside of the house had confused their daughter.

When they pulled up, Pieter stepped out of the car and opened the door for his wife and daughter. He was always one for chivalry.

"Let us go eat."

Beca nodded and took Pieter's hand. She liked how they were acting.

Kommissar smiled and walked to the restaurant with a chuckle. She held Beca's other hand, like parents often do. She felt so glad they were able to do this.

The height difference between the Germans and the brunette made the hand holding comfortable. Pieter told the host their last name and followed the man to their table.
