Zodiac- He can embody the spirit of different animals to improve his combat abilities. Each animal is a different part of the zodiac cycle. In real life, the zodiac cycle is 12 years, with a different one per year. Koji's cycle is 12 days, with a different animal daily. The inherent animal, which is how his tattoo appears, is his personality for the day. Along with that, he gains slight abilities of that animal for the day. Once he actually embodies the animal does his abilities increase. The tattoo on his arm changes with his inherent animal, which is daily. The way you see him now, he just came out of dragon, so his tattoo is formless. There are 12 animals, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
