Fantasy Powerful Magic

"We are in control of the elements, the elements don't control us!, the last thing I want to see us doing is having a war, and what about the children, they will be terrified to death once they hear of this!" I say angrily and worryingly at the same time, I really didn't want this war and I wanted it to stop!

"The elements were once gods and all powerful beings. Those beings are gone but their will remains." Conner didn't know much about the ways or history of the elements, but that was the one thing he did know.

"You really think that the all gods want us to fight and treat each other nastily as if we were nothing but trash!" I say thinking it was absolutely ridiculous "I think that gods would want us to be friendly to each other and work together not treat each other like slaves!" I say

"If the gods wanted that, then we wouldn't be standing here." Kevin was angry at her words that the elements didn't control everything, and was slightly worried they would show their control right now. It was obvious the elements disagreed with her when the wind started to blow, almost a harsh wind, and his shadows swirled a bit faster. "I would be careful what you say. Despite what you think, the elements might not take nicely to what you say." The shadows started to calm. "I know you are concerned for the humans, but there is nothing to do about them, we are Chosen, and we must understand the elements, and they want war." Kevin knew what made them strong relied on the elements, and having them angry at you didn't make a person strong.

I sighed "I'm just saying that I don't like it!" I say getting really angry, I just wanted to go into a ball and cry in a dark corner for days, but I kept that feeling held deep inside, I couldn't let my cowardness show, it wasn't like me. I wore an angry face "so we can't withdraw from this war?" I ask you curiously, if that was an option I would go for it. "I'm sorry elemental gods" I mumble under my breath because I wanted to apologize for my behavior, I was just really getting pissed off at this war, I just wanted no part in it. I was gonna apologize to the gods better later on.

Gwyneira smiled bitterly from under her hood. "If there was a way to withdraw, then some of us wouldn't be here in the first place. All we can do is to stand strong and endure the elements wrath." Gwyneira stared at the Storm Chosen who was a few years older than her. "I would offer you an olive branch, if you will not take action against the Ice Domain. But do not mistake my offer for softness."

Kevin nods his head in agreement with what Gwyneira said. Everything was starting to cool, and it started to look like a light rain would be coming in soon, Fire wouldn't be comfortable, but at least Water might get that angry at the world look off her face. "Although you can claim that you will stay out of the war now, you will be forced into it sooner or later. Although I will stay out of the war for a while to understand what the elements want, I will be forced into it later, don't doubt that." He looks around the place, looking for any objections to what he said before saying, "I have nothing else to say, if anyone else have something to say or declare, then speak it now."

"I have nothing else to say but if we do fight, we fight with honor and glory and not develish bastards like those humans who backstab each other." The rain was starting to annoy im a little bit but he dealt with it and waited for the rest of the group to finish what they had to say before he had his converstion with Connor and then head back to his kingdom to prepare for whatever was going to happen.

Gwyneira sighed in relief as the rain started. She took off her hood, feeling the raindrops splash onto her face, freezing into ice upon contact with her skin. Even though it was a warmer rain than what she was used to, water was still water, and water always froze when near her. "I agree. But when it truly comes to war, spare the children and elderly. Humans we may be, but we will not slaughter without honor." Frozen raindrops glittered in Gwyneira's hair, and sheh wasn't wet at all. Water froze when near her, so she was rarely drenched,

The light seemed to cling to Conner as the clouds covered the sky, making him glow. "I will do the best I can, and will punish all those who break that rule personally." Conner said. For once, he meant every word and would not even bother finding a loop hole.

“Gwyneira, Conner, when did develop bleeding hearts?” Rowan asked with a shake of his head. “The simple fact is war is all inclusive and non discriminatory. It affects women, children, men, the old, the weak, nobody is spared.” Rowan’s voice had grown serious, discarding the amusement that had laced it moments ago. “The simple fact is everyone will be involved in this war whether they want to be or not so saying we won’t involve those who don’t want to be involved is a waste of breath.” Rowan’s gaze swept across the other chosen until it landed on Kevin. “You’ve expressed the desire to stay neutral but you’ll be dragged into this by your brother.” Ryker turned his attention to Gwyneira. “You claim the ice realm will not attack unless attacked itself or provoked. How long do you think you’ll be able to keep your word? As war sweeps across the land and borders are redrawn will you not seek to further your own holdings or ally yourself so you don’t lose that land is under your control.” Rowan’s eyes settled on the conjugation of chosen and sighed. “Noble words have been exchanged. Words of intelligence, honor, and peace but thats all they are words. War is upon us and ultimately this meeting decides how it begins and what type of war this is to be. So I ask the question simply, is there any here ambitious enough to begin this here and now? Or will we simply return to our strongholds and throw troops at one another until our resources are exhausted and we are forced to come out of hiding? Rowan felt the blades of grass move against his boot and smiled grimly. All of them were so old, so knowledgeable, but from all of their experiences they were no wiser.

"It is not my heart which bleeds." replied Gywneira, her lips thinning into a line. "It is the fact that this world should not end by our hands. Young children are the new hope of this world, and the elder are those who pass on the knowledge so they would be able to survive." Her sharp gaze landed on Rowan. "I will keep my word for as long as I can. Indeed we cannot resist the elements, but that does not mean we do not have consciences of our own." She clenched her left hand in a fist, while the ice littered on her body shattered. The small ring of grass beneath her feet froze, crunching the grass underneath feet.

"Yes, I know I am going to participate because of my brother. But if we are truly two sides of the same coin, then I will see exactly what the elements want, and he can go to war." Kevin had put emphasis on the word exactly. He didn't like to be reminded that he was vulnerable because of his brother, but that would hopefully not matter soon. "And what would you suggest we do, Rowan? Engage each other now? The winners of that battle would be those that left early or didn't show." He also knew but didn't want to say what devastation it would bring to the surrounding lands for the ages to come. "And about you Gwyneira, I have noticed a way to avoid this fight. Kill yourself." He said the last sentence with a hint of it being an amusing thought to him. "While that would keep you from the fight for about 16 years, your element wouldn't forgive you for hundreds of years, and the people in your realm would most likely die of starvation within a year." He knew this would happen, unlike Gwyneira, Ice was an unforgiving element.

"Well said, brother." Conner told Kevin. It was a way out, killing themselves. But it would cause more harm than good. He actually hoped some if them would take that option, make things easier for him. "Now, shall we say war is declared and walk away?"

"Thank you for that brilliant idea." Gywneira retorted sarcastically. She rolled her eyes at the Light and Dark Chosens. "My people would not starve by any means. They have lived in the realm before I was reborn." She left the clearing, freezing the water in front of her into ice and walked away.

"I say that we should build something and have our war taken place inside, so no one else inside will get hurt from the tons of destruction that we will cause and from the power that will be released." I say, I really wanted no one to get hurt but the chosens "and i have a question, what happens if one of the chosens die in this war?" I ask curiously.
