*Appearance: He has somewhat curly, dark brown hair that falls down to his shoulders, and golden brown eyes. His skin is quite pale, and he stands at 5'9" (1.75 meters). He has a stubble on his face that can't quite be considered a beard, but is getting there. He usually wears loose, dark jeans, and a denim jacket with all kinds of patches on it.

*Personality: Cartney is somewhat careless in his work, not usually worrying about collateral damage. He can also be a bit abrasive at times, but that's made up for by his strong will and care for his fellow heroes. He shows little sympathy towards his enemies, preferring to kill rather than to capture. He does, however, have a soft spot for his friends and family.

*Power: He has extremely strong black and red tendrils that can extend from his body wherever he likes. He can use them to wrap around and hold things, lift things, and even morph them to form into weapons, such as a large blade. These tendrils are bulletproof, and feel like warm metal to the touch.

*Strengths(at least 2): He can use his powers to act as a supportive, defensive, or offensive role. He also has a way with words, being able to convince people quite well.
*Weaknesses(at least 2): He doesn't like following rules, which often gets him in trouble. He also doesn't like the idea of authority.

Extra(anything you feel is important): He's what you'd call an "Anti-hero" - someone who does the right thing in a bad way. Kinda like Deadpool.

*Personality: Isa is a strong-willed person, never quick to give up. She cares about those that she holds dear and would do anything for them, even giving her own life if it was needed to keep them safe. She's reckless sometimes and doesn't always think things through, but she's helpful and likes to assist others. She makes for a good friend in battle, and in day to day life.

Bio:
Isa grew up in a home where the topic of 'gifts' was unspoken of. Her mother and father were politics and fairly well-known by most in their city. They, of course, despised those who had obtained 'gifts' and abilities and constantly argued with those who sided with the gifted. Despite her rather hateful upbringing, Isa was indifferent to her parents. She wouldn't dare slander the name of anyone who was gifted, for not all of them committed crimes. It was the Villains that Isa was unsure of.

When Isa was about 16, a Villain attacked the office that her parents and various other political officials worked at, threatening to kill them for their actions against the gifted. Isa had attended work with them the day that all hell broke loose. The Villain had killed off most of the people in the room, meanwhile the heroes deployed to stop him were struggling to get close without him lashing out at another civilian. The Villain grew impatient, and went straight for Isa, deciding to toy with her a little bit. He pulled her arm behind her back and twisted it, a sickening crack echoing through the room. This gained numerous startled gasps and yells from the hostages and the heroes, filling Isa's ears. Everything was too much for her, the noise, the pain, the fear. It filled her head and occupied her thoughts. Suddenly, a scream erupted from her throat, one that surpassed any other sound that had been uttered seconds before. It shook the entire building, pierced the ears of those nearby and shattered panes of glass. Different objects clattered onto the floor or flew across the room. The Villain immediately let go to cover his ears from the deafening sound, which gave the heroes the opportunity to take him down.

After paramedics had come for the bodies of the victims and assisted the remaining survivors, a distraught, petrified, and injured Isa was confronted by her parents. They were utterly repulsed at the idea that their daughter had developed an ability; that she had become one of the 'gifted.' They left her with the warning that if she ever came back home, they'd have her arrested. The heroes that had detained the villain witnessed the entire ordeal. They were the ones that saved her from being homeless and alone, by bringing her along with them and training her. She dedicated the rest of her life to the heroes and the civilians, never faltering with her goal to help others.

Alignment: Neutral Good
Isa is a hero.

*Power:

Sound Manipulation/Sonic Scream - Isa can manipulate the volume of anything that emits sounds and vibrations. Her Sonic Scream is a destructive ability that she rarely uses.

*Power Limitations:

Fatigue - If used too much without rest, it can cause fatigue to Isa. Signs of overuse can be bloody noses, tiredness, fainting, etc. Though her other more destructive ability, Sonic Scream, can cause her a decent amount of physical damage, such as trauma to the brain.

Range - She can only manipulate sound and vibrations within a limited range of half a mile.
*Strengths(at least 2):

Endurance - She can hold her own while fighting for a good amount of time before getting tired and/or needing support from others.

Kindhearted - She's also very caring and understanding, she can get on the good side of others quickly.

*Weaknesses(at least 2):

Recovery Time- Once her power has been overused, it takes Isa about a day to recover.

Emotional - In some instances, her emotions get the best of her and can cloud her judgment.

Extra(anything you feel is important): It's hard for her to control what happens when she uses her ability, Sonic Scream, hence why she only uses it in emergencies. Her abilities aside, she is fairly nimble and flexible due to her small frame, but don't let that fool you. She has some experience in hand-to-hand combat.

Bio~ Growing up with both parents having jobs, Scarlett never got as much attention as she maybe should have. As she grew up, she became much more dependent on herself to get anything done and she also grew disconnected to her parents. It wasn't just them though, she became very distant even with her peers. It wasn't uncommon, however, for her to grow close to someone just to use them or to get something she wanted. Surprisingly enough, she was only ever caught stealing things from people a few times, and even then they were minor enough to be let go with a simple slap on the wrist. Once she moved out and into adulthood, Scarlett became a bit of a thief. From there, she only got darker and darker. Ever since she was a kid, she had loved everything about blood: its taste, its smell, and even its consistency. It only seemed appropriate that the world had gifted her with an ability to control it to a small degree. No longer did she have to worry about a target's home life or their schedule--unless they were ex marine or something--since now she could easily wound them and forcibly pass them out. Her job was only made easy for a little while, though, due to heroes becoming a thing. She's not a super terrible scummy human being, just marked a villain for her less likable use of her gift.

When exhausted, she is unable to function until twenty-four hours for full rejuvenation or at least an hour to get 20%. So on and so forth. Using her powers requires caution as to when to use or when not to.

If she hacks a system, she is able to gain as well as transmit a virus therefore actually giving her a flu

Nanobot reconstruction- If she shifts into a gun, it would use most of her energy into every shot creating fatigue

*Strengths(at least 2): She's very sturdy mentally and physically, She has a great intuition that she tends to break code of being a hero now and then

For the most part this is a really good cs, but I was thinking more along the lines of each character having one ability. The ability could be a bit broadly explained so that it could have several different uses, but I'm sorry you can only have one ability.

She got picked on and bullied because of the way her eyes looked. She started wearing sunglasses at all times to keep them hidden. She often got in trouble at school for refusing to take them off, resulting in her "Bad Girl" image.

I love it, except for two things.. I feel like being totally invincible for 10 minutes is a bit much. It seems like a "get out of jail free" card from any losing fight. Maybe tone it down a bit?
Also, I feel like she wouldn't be able to shoot with 80% accuracy with that kind of eyesight, unless you have an explanation for that. (I get that she has somewhat stronger senses because of her lack of vision, but most trained soldiers can't even fire with that accuracy)

Otherwise, it's great. I'm ready to blast My Chemical Romance at full volume.

Standing at the impressive height of 6'4", Gino is a Caucasian male of Germanic descent. He has short, light blonde hair, cut in a way most modern men would be proud of. He has a lean, yet almost muscular structure, and has a penchant for dressing like your typical European male.

Personality: Gino presents himself as the amiable, well-educated gentleman who shares both the highs and lows in life with his friends. His natural charm and charisma helps him win over people quite easily, as his peers quickly view him to be the affable companion to curry favours for. This image led most to believe Gino to be a kind person, further proven by his caring side to his friends and allies. To his credit, he does show a great deal of concern to the aforementioned people, however he is all but willing to manipulate and sacrifice their lives in the name of what he deems to be the greater good. In truth, Gino is a cold and calculating individual, his specialty being diplomacy and manipulation to further his goals in spreading his own sense of order and justice.

Alignment: Neutral Evil
Side: Whichever sides benefit his goals the most.

If Gino's heart rate is at or below 55 BPM, he is able to slow down the subjective sense of time of those within range down to a halt. This ability is a spherical AoE, with a diameter of roughly 12 meters, and lasts for a few seconds. Those under effect will be frozen in place for the duration of the activation. Physical obstacles or electronic equipment do not hinder its effectiveness, and it can be used on the same people repeatedly.

Power Limitations:
- POTK requires Gino to have a heart rate of 55 BPM or lower for its activation, which, in tense and high-stress situations is very difficult to achieve. As such, he remedies this with breathing patterns, sheer mental fortitude, and, when it really calls for it, his unique way of coping with stress. (That is, biting his nails until they bleed.)

- POTK cannot be spammed indefinitely, as its other glaring weakness is the fact that his heart stops when using it, limiting himself to use it in short bursts lest he drops dead like a fly if he uses it in quick succession.

- Inertia and the laws of motion are all still applied within POTK's sphere of influence, as it has only been known to affect sentient life forms.

Strengths(at least 2):
- His sharpest weapon is his mind and quick wit.
- Next to that is his ability to charm others via words and natural air of confidence. As said before, manipulation and diplomacy is his game.
- Has absolutely no qualms in exploiting the weakness of his enemies.
- Able to keep his emotions and nerves in check, which, combined with his above average aiming skills makes him a competent marksman.

Weaknesses(at least 2):
- Tends to avoid direct physical confrontation whenever he can, and when faced with such he relies on his ability to escape. Because of this, Gino is severely lacking in the close-quarters-combat aspect of villainy.
- He'd rather commit to a particular choice when its outcome is more interesting than the result of the pragmatic approach.
- Which is due to the fact that Gino has too much confidence in himself, believing that no matter how grave the outcome would be, he'll be able to think out of it.

Extra(anything you feel is important):
No action has been taken so far by the government to apprehend Gutermuth, as he has agreed to become an underground informant (for the time being) in service to their villain-hunting organization in exchange for the pardoning of his past crimes.

Bio: In school, Andrew was a straight-B student and belonged to a boy scout group. From his earliest years, he was a true patriot. After he graduated, Andrew served in the military for several years until his gift manifested, at which point his superiors were alerted to it. Soon, he became one of America's first dedicated heroes and brought with him hundreds of issues of comic books and figurines for children to play with.

*Power: Personal Forcefield Generation: Andrew can generate a super-dense forcefield from solid hard radio energy in a radius of one millimeter from his body at will. The power doesn't limit his ability to breathe. He can manipulate the forcefield by making parts of it denser or lighter and distributing the force across a given surface of his body and manipulating everything within. In practice, this grants him super-durability, an extremely slight improvement to his strength (by the margin that punching something at full force won't hurt his fists,) and the ability to fly at speeds no higher than a man can run. The forcefield can be broken or impaired by severe damage, but it has an effective refresh rate of eight seconds.

*Power Limitations:
- The forcefield can be broken by damage going over the threshold of 10 kilojoules, equivalent to a few (1-2) shots from a firearm or several unarmed attacks delivered at full strength by a strong human. The forcefield has a refresh rate of eight seconds, meaning the field will only be broken if the 10 kilojoules of force are delivered in that span and the forcefield will only be broken for eight seconds before it returns to being active. He is vulnerable during that time and loses any benefits of his power. Technically, the best way to kill him would be to snipe him out of the sky - the fall would definitely kill him.

- Trained martial artist.
- Tactician.
- Nerves of steel.

*Weaknesses:
- Is quicker to save others over himself.
- Too naive and believes anyone can change if they truly want to; can be taken advantage of.
- He is a protector not avenger; quicker to save the victims rather than catch the evildoer.

Extra: To date, the Public Relations department created over 281 issues of Olympian's adventures. Since his first appearance, five series of figurines resembling his likeness have been released. In addition, a cartoon series is to be aired in several months.

*Power: Kinetic Energy Generation: This power allows Andrew to generate kinetic energy; the amount of work not lost to friction needed to accelerate a body from a rest to a certain velocity in a closed system; in other words, the energy of motion. His ability is very powerful but limited to the range of one arm's reach of his own body. Because of this, people mistakenly believe he possesses an entire package of superpowers, such as flight and super-strength, while in reality, they are merely extensions of his only gift. When using his power, his eyes seem to emit visible light, which is one of the themes the PR department built his costume around.

Applications:
- Super-Strength (Lifting strength limited to around a ton. He can kick a person across a room without hurting them or casually throw a bench at someone.)
- Super-Durability (Can, for an example, stand in the path of a van and have it bounce off of him, crumpled as if hitting a telephone pole. Bullets still hurt and deal bludgeoning damage, but only high calibers like anti-material rifles are of any harm. Chemical attacks, burning, or even drowning are still serious threats, but if you try to cut his throat it'll feel as if someone slid a wet fish across his throat.)
- Super-Speed (Ground speed limited to around 40km/h, mostly due to the fact that he doesn't have reaction speed to use this viably. Flight speed, as such, is much higher.)
- Flight (Top speed can get to around 300km/h after two minutes of constantly accelerating.)
- Limited Telekinesis (He can pick up an object in his power's range and throw it at someone with the same power of his super-strength, but once the object is outside the range, he can't manipulate it any further.)

*Power Limitations:

It's one power with a lot of applications. I'll see if I can change it to something else with less applications.

Personality: Ward doesn’t come off as very cheery usually. His dark past with the gifted has left him scarred and spiteful. Before the accident, he was a very happy man. Married, had a child, a well paying job. Now he rarely interacts with anyone aside from the supers, and those encounters always seem to end poorly, whether in the favor of the super’s, or Ward’s. Other than that he has a soft spot for the regular humans. He will go out of his way to save someone if they are being endangered by a gifted, making Ward’s main targets the Villains, though he still despises the Heroes as well.

Bio: When the wave hit, it was clear that Ward and his pregnant wife had not been gifted with any kind of power. It was an exciting time for many people, and yet it was also a scary one.
All over the place, everyday people were popping up with these new kinds of abilities. Some were miniscule while others were terrifying. The general public was in shock, and of course the government took it as the government would. News stations were sending out propaganda galore, whether it be to show the light side of people having now obtained powers beyond comprehension, or otherwise degrading them and posing them as a threat.
Ward wasn’t sure how he felt though. Mostly nervous perhaps. Did he really want his child to grow up in a world full of these kinds of people? It had already been dangerous enough.
But there was little he could do to help soothe these thoughts. A few months after the wave had hit, their baby was born. A boy.
The following years, Ward was constantly on edge. Of course not everyone that had been gifted were good people. Evil supers began showing up, Villains. They disregarded the regular humans. Sometimes threatening their lives for leverage, or else simply finding them to be weaker and less important than the gifted.
Shortly after the government had enstated a superhero task force, Ward’s son began to show signs of something. Frost forming around his feet whenever he took a step. The bath would sometimes begin to freeze with him in it. And his skin, freezing to the touch. Ward and his wife had given birth to a gifted. Evidently the wave had affected the baby while inside the womb.
Although Ward didn’t entirely enjoy the idea of his son having these powers, he was proud nonetheless.
And then it happened. His son was only seven. A Villain had decided to use them. Held them and a few other civilians hostage in an old, worn down building.
The Villain had razorlike fingernails. That was their power. Combined of course with their incredible agility and enhanced senses. When the super that was trying to stop him got too close, he tore a victim apart.
Two of those victims were Ward’s wife and son. The heartless animal just peeled the face from his wife and Ward was only able to watch. His son went worse.
A few more people had to die before the Villain was stopped, but by then the damage had been done. Ward was left uninjured, yet not unharmed.
He spends his days now hunting supers, Hero and Villain alike. Adorning a mask and avoiding crossing paths with the government best he can.

Strengths(at least 2): Ward’s skills in hand to hand combat and when wielding a blade have become significantly better since he began training with an old friend of his.

Climbing has always been one of Ward’s strong suits seeing as he always used to go rock climbing with his late father.

Ward has grown somewhat resistant to the cold after spending so much time working with his son before he was taken away from him.

Weaknesses(at least 2): From a distance, Ward is rendered nearly helpless when fighting someone. He has no skill with any ranged weapons aside from a fragment of training he once received in using a firearm, but he does not carry one with him. He needs to get up close and personal with his opponent in order to deal any damage.

Despite his hatred for all gifted, he still cares for humans, and of the life of one is put at stake, he will help them before helping himself to a super. He does have a small soft spot for the gifted children, though he still dislikes them.

Ward has a limp. It doesn’t much show when in the middle of a fight, as he has learned to utilize his left leg, but his right was injured during a rock climbing incident a long time ago. The limp has slowed down Ward’s running.

Personality:
Elliot is smart, arrogant, and generous and while those set of words may contradict one and another, it makes perfect sense given an explanation. His intelligence isn't his best trait but it's one of the few he's proud of, he's able to create a solution to an issue with time to spare but this is also his greatest weakness as he doesn't think over his plans and while they can be very complex and detailed; they always go under the assumption that no unknown variables are present and that it will go exactly as planned. His arrogance ties into that type of attitude as well, he believes he can accomplish what he wants to do with relative ease. Because of this, he often toys with his enemies and victims in an attempt to shame them of even considering a fight with him.

His generous side is a lot harder to understand without delving deep into Elliot's past but he's kind to those that are gifted, or have powers, he views them as the superior species. On the flipside however, he absolutely despises those without gifts or powers, viewing and openly calling them inferior and unworthy of his presence. While Elliot may be generous and kind to those with powers, his mission is top priority and it doesn't matter if a powered-human stands in his way, he will get past them one way or another.

Bio:
Born into a small family living in a small apartment space, he had a relatively peaceful life; he went to school and rarely missed a day, around average on his test scores, and he graduated highschool with a 3.1 GPA. He moved out when he turned 19 and when he turned 21, he found himself a girlfriend that he knew he was gonna spend his life with. At 23 he proposed to his girlfriend and they got engaged. The Wedding was planned to be in December on the 23rd, but the year was to be determined.

Then came Tuesday. On May 16th, 2017, Elliot and his wife-to-be went to the local Walgreens to pick up prescription medication, while looking around for a few more things, two armed gunmen entered the store and began to massacre the place. (It should be noted that his powers came to him at a relatively young age, but it never fully manifested). The two armed men took his fiancee and killed her in front of him, following this was the massacre of the two gunmen when Elliot blind-fired his power. All that was left were the bodies of those who were shot, and large amounts of blood splattered in virtually every direction. After this event took place, Elliot's mindset changed, he viewed people who didn't have a power with disgust and saw the human species as "the pathway to the evolved species".

Combustion Inducing
is the ability to create explosions at will. Targets of the ability are not restricted to flammable objects; any object can be affected. Also, users of the ability can control explosions caused by other events, not just explosions they caused themselves.
Power Limitations:

  1. This power only cause the explosion of a solid object; it can't create a blast out of thin air.
  2. Must have direct eye contact with the object he wishes to explode, otherwise he's just blind firing which isn't the most useful way of getting work done.
  3. If he wishes to explode a specific part of an object, he often has to draw it out in his mind so that he doesn't destroy the entire thing.

Strengths:

  1. Fast Runner: From being able to close the distance between him and his target to simply chasing after somebody, he'll get there eventually.
  2. Engineering Expertise: Elliot has learned how to create home-made explosives and how to repair a car.
Weaknesses:
  1. Physically Weak: In every aspect other than his legs.
  2. Lack of Fighting Knowledge: Elliot just never really had the time to take lessons on how to fight.
  3. Migraines: It's beginning to become a problem for him as he can't concentrate as well has he did a few months ago.

Extra:
He doesn't wear a mask when committing acts of violence, he finds it uncomfortable and overall boring.
Elliot carries around 3-4 grenades on him anywhere he goes.

*Personality: She is cunning, sly, and witty sort of like a cat. She is a bit selfish and steals things that she claims are for her survival, but she keeps doing it. She does things for her own gain, but that can change cause she does care somewhat. She enjoys the excitement of committing a crime and getting away with it, or the chase. She is intelligent and knows her limits and when it’s not smart to play with the big boys.

Bio: She has the typical sob story where her parents kicked her out and disowned her once the wave hit and they discovered her powers. She survived on her own in the streets where she would hang around the alley cats a lot. She tried using her power for the very first time to turn into a cat and it worked. She stayed as the cat for awhile as an escape, but when she shifts her mind gains the animal’s instincts and the longer she is that animal the more the instinct expands. When she shifted back, her normal human form was gone and she was stuck as half cat half human as her original form. So her mind is kind of half cat too. She started stealing to survive, then worked her way up to complex thievery. She is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat.

-gains an animal’s instincts

-healing drastically drains energy and is slow, not like wolverine and deadpool
-can't hold a form for too long cause it's animal instinct could take over her mind
-reverts back to normal form when unconscious and when healing kicks in

Extra(anything you feel is important): She’s a kleptomaniac, but tries to justify it. Stealing is her main crime because she knows the odds of her getting caught and punished are small since other villains are typically doing way worse.

*Personality:

Tempest is a facade of calm, cool, and collected. She is very observant and analytical of everyone and everything. She is typically more reserved, but can have a bit of a bad temper in certain situations. She doesn't rely on anyone but herself, and has a hard time opening up to others. If you catch her interest she will make more of an effort to be friendly, and if she truly cares about you she will protect you at all costs. She really does try to do good and just things, but sometimes makes mistakes in judgement.
Bio:
Tempest was born into an extremely wealthy family that sent her to various boarding schools to keep her constantly entertained and educated. She does not have a great relationship with her family mainly because they sent her away every chance they got. With the outbreak of special abilities, both she and her father inherited powers. Her father became gifted with powers of persuasion and quickly used them to further his own power and prestige, also recruiting others with abilities to do his bidding. Her father is a powerful villain, but somehow remains in good enough graces with the government to keep them out of his way. When Tempest understood what her father was doing she left home, but remains hidden from her family. She is a high profile real estate agent for her day job, but at night she is sort of a vigilante.
