Hello. I remember commenting on a thread a year ago about was my favorite season, but I don't ever remember saying anything about being interested in a RP or have participated in a previous one. This is a cool idea nevertheless.

probably interested, but I'm at a summer job now, with only one free day per week. My first week is almost over, and then I have 5 more to go. So it'll be a while before I have time.

I'm planning to apply, in hopes that things don't veer into "super high school level despair" territory. But I'm moving tomorrow and I have no idea when I'll have proper internet again beyond "sometime this month", so my WIP may stay that way for a while. ("What WIP, MidnightDaybreak?" The one that I haven't posted yet, of course!)


While I'm thinking about it: Are there plans for player-controlled mundane characters or villains? Just in case you find your 5 and there's still people who want to join in. I'm also curious about the nature of the Hive, where Seraph's from and what he/she/they/it actually is, and some other things, but if that's something to be revealed during the RP, that's fine too.

Marorda, I'm flexible enough to make things work if it comes down to it. Communication is very important for roleplay, so if you're willing to let me know ahead of time, I'm willing to work with you. :)


MidnightDaybreak, thanks for letting me know of your plans! I understand that everyone has things going on in their lives, particularly in the summer months, so as with Marorda, I'm willing to work with people as long as they communicate with me. I want to make sure everyone has a fair shot. I look forward to seeing your application! Additional characters is a topic that is up for debate. I honestly haven't considered all of the possibilities yet, but depending on the interest in the RP and the quality of applications, I may be willing to tweak a few things. We have a good amount of time before the RP begins so things could most certainly be changed or altered if the reception is high.


The Hive will continued to be revealed as the RP progress (as well any other threats, allies, etc.). I'm one of those GM's who likes surprising my fellow roleplayers instead of revealing everything at once. ;)

For those of you who are unsure or are wondering, roles are NOT gender specific! You need not worry about the pictures in the Overview section as I am capable of finding someone to change the colors and genders of all Ranger pictures. :)
 
Hey, just wanted to let you know I plan to start working on my SU soon, just a little tied up with other things atm.
 
I think I'm highly interested in this xDDDDDD I already have a character ready. But I thought maybe he works at Angel Grove University's campus as a rookie maintenance man....thoughts?
 
Woot! I hope he makes a good ranger...if he's chosen, that is xDD I think he'll offer some interesting story arcs here and there xD
 
I have a question! In Power Rangers/Super Sentai, there are sometimes mini story arcs surrounding specific characters. Are we going to do that here? Like maybe for (example, not saying this is what you'll do lol) 5 episodes, it's all of the team. but then for one episode, blue is the focus point. next episode, it's red. then all of them for a bit...and then pink has their own focus. Are we going to have individual struggles/focus points for each character? I didn't mean to make it sound so complicated lol
 
@Lady Insanity Absolutely! That's the goal. I know certain roleplays and definitely the show, are really focused solely on Red, with Red being the leader. In the case for this RP, there is no particular leader as each member of the team falls back on each other. Sure, some of them may act as a leader in different situations, but for the most part, they are a team (whether functional or dysfunctional lol). So to answer your question, yes, characters will each have their time to shine! It'll be discussed further down the road. :)
 
Can I reserve the green ranger? I played green in a previous rp with PenBlade (shame that rp died...)


He's a pretty interesting character and will probably provide an interesting story arc :3
 
Marorda, this RP is not first come first serve, so there is no "reserving" per se. I will reveal who has been accepted on July 23rd. I'm giving other roleplayers time to work on their applications. :)

I am so excited for this RP :) I'm not even sure that I'll get accepted, but I'm excited nevertheless xD
