Hello Everyone and Welcome to Power Rangers Extinction. This is the page that will be detailing the simple rules that this system deals with. It is a much more freeform system than my previous Nation Builders, but there are still a few things to go over.

Every Turn, you can take up to 2 Actions. (This makes it so that it is far easier for me to process than other RPs that I have run). And depending on how your story unfolds, you might get one or two Break Point Actions. These do not count towards your 2 Action Limit as these are GM prompts. They can alter the way that your Power Rangers Story progresses.

An Example:

Gilgamesh flexes his muscles as he reaches into a pot, pulling out another monster to face the Rangers. This monster looks stranger than normal and seems to be glowing Blue.

BREAK POINT

1. Put the Monster Back in the Pot
2. Send the Monster out to Fight the Rangers
3. Have the Monster Dissected by Your Science Minions

In this case, Gilgamesh's player choses 2. When the battle occurs, the Monster ends up having an ability where it can shoot lasers out of its many eyes when it glows blue when originally this was going to be a monster of Pure Strength. Extra Bonus.


Different things would have occurred based on which option is chosen.

The Main currency in this game is Energy or Energy Points. Those who had left over points after character creation, get them converted into Energy Points. These points are gained through successful actions, but can be gained through failures as well, depending on the actions. There are other resources as well, such as Popular Opinion (How the Public Views your actions overall) as well as Victory Points (Accumulated when accomplishing a specific goal during an episode)

Some examples of actions that be taken in a turn:

Example Villain Actions: Hire a Mercenary Monster, Conduct Research, Initiate Plan, etc

Example Ranger Actions: Train, Search for the Badguy's HQ, Construct new Equipment, etc.​
