Potential Free-For-All Ideafest

All right, so I've been here for two weeks now and have learned a few things about the RpN community; the sort of things people like, what works in a role-play and what doesn't.


I personally very much enjoy creating RPs. It's a refreshing idea to create a whole world entirely from your own imagination and have other people join in and play by its rules. But I've already got a RP up and running and probably won't be making any more for a while now, which sucks because there are so many ideas I want to expand on or see made into a RP.


So, instead of hanging on to my ideas for later like some kind of patient person (*snort* who do you think I am?), I thought I would share them the world - and it's a free-for-all. Anyone can use any of these ideas and I won't care at all.


Anyway! Now that I'm done blabbering, here's the good stuff:

• A fantasy world where a paranormal occurrence reverses the life-flow in certain people and turns them into artificial demons, giving them strange powers and limiting their methods of safe interaction with ordinary humans.
  
• Another fantasy based on the children's novels The Fire Within (God I loved those books when I was younger ()) where characters can model creatures from clay and bring them to life as friends or pets or warriors' valiant companions who would risk their lives to save their master.
  
• A sorta weird sci-fi where an apocalypse happened and almost everyone in the world died, but a scientist just so happened to use a time machine to rewind the world to a week before the disaster. Some people who died the first time around retain memories of the events and work out what happened, then try to prevent it. But the scientist got vapourised in the time travel process or something, so these people only have one chance.
  
• Fantasy/sci-fi world soooorta based on Fullmetal Alchemist where amputees can mix-and-match prosthetic limbs designed to be used as weapons. There could be, like, a group of war vets or victims of a Big Bad Band of Baddies who turn their loss into a weapon to fight back against the oppressive and evil enemies. They could have elbow-swords. Or knee-cannons. Glass eye lasers. Wolverine claws. Anything at all!
  

That's about it for now. Most of these would probably work best as casual or detailed RPs, but I guess that's just a hint. If you've got any ideas that you don't think you will use, why not add to the list? It can be a party.

Despite your apparent wishes not to return to the gates. I would like to express that the first idea sounds really great, and reminds me of Disgaea 2. It would probably be best with a Casual roleplay. However, with those kind of role-plays, you have to be careful with characters and their abilities being coherent with the lore of whatever world you make, I had a few cases in creating my titan hunting roleplay, and the three failed reboots of it. That people loved to create characters with weapons and abilities that didn't work with the plot.

Thanks for the tips Whilst I appreciate the commentary, as I said before, I'm probably never going to use these ideas. Any tips should be going out to whoever reads this thread~

I'm actually half tempted to use the apocalypse one


Although I feel it'd perhaps make a better novel than a roleplay :/
