Other Post Fun Facts About Yourself

Me: I have 9 siblings

People who look at my skin and assume I am a statistic: ‘oh... do you know all of them?’ or other genuinely stupid question

Me: yes we all have the same two parents.

My life, basically.
But people find it to be the most interesting thing about me. Idk if it is actually interesting or if I am just boring.

-I went on my first ever and only first date when I was 27.
-I broke a tooth when I accidentally bit down hard on a popcorn kernel
-I'm allergic to dogs but I have two

-In the course of my short life I thought I was Gay, Bi, Trans, Gender-Fluid, and Nonbinary before I eventually settled on Cis gender Asexual.
-On that subject the thought of sex repulses me.
-This get's especially bad when I realize that my parents had sex at least twice (I have a sibling) and they did it the second time without me noticing.

-I am such a narcissist that I go back and read my old rp posts as well as any old posts by me that I don't find cringy. True story.

I dislike talking about a lot of things, because I hate the change in attitude that brings. Such as, I have Asperger's, but I dislike talking about it, because people become condescending.

I dislike talking about my job experience, because, get this: (people) manager, IT, bartender, librarian, sailor, shipbuilder, (farm) manager, translator, artist, narrative writer, copywriter, designer in a publishing house, reporter, editor, game designer, tattoo artist and freelance artist. All the while my educations are in law and linguistics.

I was once at a dinner where I was the only person who hadn't been personally screamed at by Trump. All but one were awful people.

I do a killer Mickey Mouse impression and it really pisses my husband off. Especially when I say “prepare your anus” in that voice. I can also mimic bird calls with my vocal chords

I like to watch reality shows, especially 'Teen Mom'. The crazy drama in their lives makes me feel better about my own. Is that bad? XD

>i really hate pickles/onions/things with that sort of... firm but squishy texture? it makes me gag (prob a sensory thing idk!)
>my fav animals are monkeys and cats
>the animals i most relate to are opossums and jackals
>i know a lot about otc medicines off the top of my head especially antihistamines/first gen antihistamines!
>shows like forensic files + id channel shows actually make me sleepy

  1. I have anosmia. Meaning I was born without the sense of smell. Fresh bread or fresh turd? I wouldn't know (if i'm blindfolded, that is)!You can make me smell anything and I'll just sit there like "....'kay?"
  2. You will never get me in a canoe or raft ever again after an incident I had when I was 16
  3. 9/10 addicts I ever had happen to the left side of my body (nearly broke my leg and wrist, accidentally sawed through my finger (it's still intact)
  4. I'm a spiritual person who believes in reincarnation, ghosts, demons, etc.
    1. I'm convinced I've had an encounter with something dark and nasty once. It's been 4-5 years but it still terrifies me
  5. I'm a huge geek. I LARP at several events per year
  6. I think learning a new language is as interesting as learning how to play a flute... or do programming! My interest are very broad.
  7. I dropped out of college 3 times before finally finishing a study in three years time, being bored to death while there and now I have a nice paper I can't do shite with because my college was STUPID AF thinking we needn't learn about any subjects that are super important now
  8. While cheerful and kind, I can hold grudges/be salty about something for a very long time
  9. I've faced some pretty heavy emotional/psychological abuse throughout most of my life and only learned so last year.
  10. I'm asexual

Asexual buddies!
Woohoo!
I'm seriously so glad my boyfriend has all the respect in the world for the fact I am ace. And his parents too. Then there is mine, who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to ask "How can you know you're ace if you've never done it?"
*grumbles off into the blanket burrito again*

Done what?

Like... done sex? Is that what they mean? Do they mean done sex?

  1. I have Asperger's. I tend to keep this to myself unless I want to get to know someone better, and then I feel like it's only fair that they know, because I've had people get fed up with me before over things that I can't change. The biggest one is oversharing, lmao.
  2. I used to train horses with a special interest in rescues and correcting behavioral issues. I don't ride anymore after my last injury, so now I train dogs and I'm learning to train birds.
  3. I am grey ace!
  4. I am a classically trained vocalist. About three years ago, I actually ended up getting very sick for about three months and lost my singing voice completely; I have a hard time expressing myself verbally, so singing had always been an important outlet for my emotions, and losing the ability was absolutely devastating. I just started trying to work on my vocals again as of last year, and very slowly it's starting to come back, though I'll likely never have the range I had before. As an aside, I'm a self-taught pianist as well.
  5. I've had my lip pierced three times.
  6. I'm an artist, though my carpal tunnel makes scribbling pretty difficult, so I don't draw as much anymore.
  7. Avocados are gross.
  8. My favourite movies are Finding Nemo and Spirited Away.
  9. I am a huge BTS fan. Like. Massive. I'm also a fan of K-indie (indie in general is just my preferred music genre), but I always find myself coming back to BTS. It's probably a serious addiction at this point, RIP.
  10. I like to sit and lay on the floor. I don't know why, but there's just something super comfortable about chilling close to the ground. In fact, I'm sitting on the floor right now.
I could probably go on forever, but oversharing, lol. Send help.

Wait! Why are yountelling the whole internet, then? Or, at least, this small corner of the internet.
Avocados are gross.
Amen.

Wait! Why are yountelling the whole internet, then? Or, at least, this small corner of the internet.

Actually, for a few reasons. Firstly, because I've lately been working on self-acceptance and coming to terms with it. I was actually diagnosed as an adult and while it was relieving to have an answer to why I think, feel, and act the way I do, I was actually ashamed of it for a long time. I feel like just putting it out there helps, even if I don't get a reaction. Second, I didn't expect to get a reaction at all, as I'm very used to my posts going completely unnoticed. Third, it was a good precursor to the inevitable word vomit to follow. I'm surprised I only stopped at ten, lol.

Yep, thats what my mother means. She's also trying to convince me to have sex with my boyfriend because "You've been together for over a year. You shouldn't make him wait much longer."
Meanwhile my boyfriend does want more, but he respects me and says he won't force me into anything. He'd say "I'd rather wait for another year than have you regret doing things you don't want to."

Your mother is a horrible mother. That's not what mother's do. Ignoring that fact that she's not accepting thatbyour ace, mothers are supposed to be paranoid about their children having sex no matter how old they are. At the very least they shouldn't care.

1: I used to be obese and terribly self degrading with bad social skills.
2: I actually can't really eat overly processed food or food that's hella greasy. As much as I'd love to dive into a bucket of KFC and just bob my head in there and come out with a drumstick in my mouth while gargling the word "BUCKET", my stomach won't take none of that bullshit.
3: I'm a superb cook, I've been doing it for years and find a certain joy in doing so. I actually regret not expanding on this and taking a culinary course at BOCES during highschool, nah instead my ass chose construction. During which I was promptly sealed away under one of our building foundations for an entire class period. Which were hours long mind you.
4: I'm a total social butterfly but by the end of the day I won't have a social battery anymore and will just wanna be alone.
5: A lil secret, I'm a total softie in relationships. I love nothing more than soft embraces, cuddles, and head scratches. You'll have me passed out in your lap within minutes if you scratch my head.
6: I do parkour and have broken three bones because of it. Oh I've also been arrested once as well.
7: I say I'm straight, but trips to e621 and an irl experience have me questioning otherwise XD
8: Call me weird, but I think fish and avocado goes great together. I thought other people did too until my friends promptly said, "The fuck is wrong with you?"

I have no idea whether there's something wrong with you in this regard because I think that there's something wrong with you for liking fish and avocados in general. Those are gross.

Kidding. Partially.

I tend to only curse in English (not my native language nor my country's first language)

I add English expressions when speaking in my native language (I blame the fact I use English a lot for my job on a daily basis)

I always eat the fries before the burguer

I've been known to add ketchup to mashed potatoes

I've perfected the 'sarcastic eyebrow raise' expression

  • I'm training to join the Naval Infantry of my country.
  • I absolutely love bands such as Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Nirvana, Deep Purple and The Beatles to name a few.
  • I've shook hands with the legend that is Ozzy Osbourne and briefly met Paul McCartney last year in London - no photos, sadly. Also I happened upon David Gilmour with my sister whilst about in Brighton. Unfortunately, I can't really recall the encounter because of a motorbike accident I had a few years ago. Gutted mate.
  • I enjoy a rave every once in a blue moon. Skanked it out at a few free parties (illegal raves 🤫) around the country and made some pretty grand memories along the way. There have been some some pretty amazing people in my life too and I'll never forget them or the experiences I've had. Good times.
  • A former LOTS (if you know, you know) ❄😬😅
And for those who wanna hear it:
I want to journey on in life and make the absolute fucking bee's knees of it and you should too ;) There's so much out there in the world for you to explore - so don't hold yourself back by not engaging those opportunities! You're an absolute cosmic miracle, that is consciousness, so get out there and let your senses experience the world man! If you hold back, your fears will become your limits. Get at 'em, mate! Best love <3

I don't understand this type of mentality. It's like asking a straight guy, "How do you know you don't like having sex with other guys???"
...Because it doesn't even appeal to them in the first place. Asexuality is the same type of thing... why can people not get that?
