Intro
The year 3000, planet earth has turned into a desolate wasteland. In the year 2990 a few different government agencies started working on a new project called Project Deserie. A high esteemed scientist named Deserie Campbell had developed a plan to, quote, save the world and create new life. Her goal was to make humans more sustainable and self reliant as well as making them more thoughtful. Deserie believed that she could reverse the global effects of climate change, pollution, and other environmental issues that have been killing the earth. The scientist wanted to eliminate the threat that humans were towards the planet without completely destroying the human race. With this in mind she began her projects under government supervision. She tested out her ideas on actual humans. She turned them into mindless creatures who were violent and crazed. Determined to make progress she continued her efforts through the years, but instead of progressing towards success, she kept backsliding. Each of her experiments was worse than the last. Driven crazy by her determination she never quit despite her colleagues desperately begging her to stop. Then it happened. In the year 2996, Deserie made her biggest mistake. She made another human mutation like many others she had made before, but this time it was stronger. These mutations managed to break out of their containment cells and wreak havoc upon the facility. After Freeing several of the other mutations and killing or infecting the facility members, they completely escaped. The events of that year are known as The Death of Humanity or The Start of The Apocalypse. In fact these events were known by many different names but the only one that truly stuck was Ground Zero. It’s now the year 3000, a start of a new era, and this time there is no God to save us.
Cam Smith was laying on the ground of the abandoned building. He groaned in boredom
Zefron Telford was standing by the door with his pistol, ready in case the mutants found them
Jorah Li had been stacking chairs and other furniture in front of the windows and doors, creating a makeshift barrier
Minley Soh was sitting next to Cam while going through the materials she had gathered from around the building
