After the bombs dropped on October 31st, 2077, the people of Montana found themselves in a sticky situation. "How would we survive?" Many asked while others ran off towards the mountains to seek shelter from the nuclear fallout. 130 years later, communities of survivors popped up in many of the counties while other survivors retreated towards the south where the Liberators had their base of operations after they had come into Montana in their ultimate quest to reunite the United States under one flag and re-establish a diplomatic government. Now, most of these settlements lay empty as the inhabitants had gone south or even to the east where they ran into the Atmos, a faction of men and women in suits of powered armor and heavy weaponry that look to stay secluded in the state of North Dakota.
