Sooo, I dream almost every night but have you ever had one in particular that stuck with you over the years? Post it here and feel free to interact with anyone on this post. Leave your interpretations on their posts. I think it will be fun.
At the start of this particular dream I was strapped and restrained on a gurney with other unfortunate souls in the same predictament as me. We were stored inside an abandoned warehouse. It was dimly lit with a few over head lanterns.
Figures with gas like masks were donned in plastic for their clothing with large rubber gloves. As they approached my gurney, a light zig zagged through the whole warehouse and the perps cowered before our restraints would bust loose.
Fearful people would frantically run and I happened upon a ventilation shaft. I opened it up and began to crawl through it. There was a left pathway, a middle and right. I opted for the left and the people seemed to follow me in.
Once I got to the end of the vent I kicked it open and crawled outside. It was night with loud booms like explosions filling the sky.
I ran down the alleyway and others followed as we got our new freedom. Once at a stop light, a rocket hit a helicopter and it came careening down at a rapid speed.
A man so overcome in fear would sprint ahead only for the helicopter propeller to come out of the blue and lob off his head.
My dream came to a brief pause before drifting backward in time like hitting a rewind button combing all the way backwards until I was strapped back onto the gurney as were the others.
The dream replays pretty much verbatim until the guy tries to run ahead and I stop him from darting forward toward the street and the helicopter propeller crashed onto the road bombs still going off in the sky.
Then I woke up. I'm sure I can discard it as a pizza dream but what made it so intense was everything felt completely real. I just have been in rem sleep. It didn't help that I've had this dream reoccur two other times. I remember my ages. 9, 16 and 22. I'm 36 now and haven't had it since but man it was a wild ride. As for the interpretation, I will post that later because it really is a doozy.
