Help Possible dumb question, but... IC group chat RP: allowed or not?

Does anyone know if a silly, in character group chat roleplay would be against the rules? And if not, where would be appropriate to post one? I feel like it could be really fun, but I'm not sure if it's allowed. I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. You can delete this thread if/when this gets answered/resolved, or if it's just not allowed at all, do whatever you feel is best. I'm anxious and don't want to break the rules.​

In character group chat roleplay should take place in Group roleplay section, just like any other Group roleplay. It should be fine as long as it's a legitimate in-character roleplay thread, not just OOC spam.

Alternatively, you can do it in Private Messages if you don't want to use a public thread.
