Polls and why can't I post one?

Why can't I make a Poll? It's a ten option poll and I can't post it anywhere. is there a reason I am unaware of?

Would you still want one if there isn't an error message? Nothing happens when I hit submit.

Try hitting submit on the actual post, not just the poll
