We have the typical "two-friends-grow-up-together" plot where they're handed their starter pokemon and head off on a journey together, blah blah blah.
Orrr, we can expand. Say, one character is on a journey and stumbles into the other character, and the other character decides to travel with the one character. Are you following? xD
