Idea Pokemon Sun/Moon Apocalyptic rp idea

Alola, fellow pokemon fans! Aura here, and this is my first time posting this type of thread, so bare with me.

I only have some vague ideas floating around so far for this rp, them being:

-This idea just popped in my head one day, but I would like to perhaps participate or create an rp in which the ultra beasts of Alola wreak havoc eventually on the rest of the world now that they've been released from Ultra Space.

-Because they're basically super powerful pokemon, I was thinking maybe they'd cause an apocalypse of sorts or perhaps like what happened with Lusamine, combine with a human and pretty much become a gijinka.

-These ultra beasts could be good or bad, depending on the individuals they take over and form a bond with them...or take over the human completely depending on the human's or even pokemon's personality.

-Then there was possibly instead turning the Ultra Beasts into shadow pokemon or beasts...but I'm not sure how that could work. Perhaps Cipher and Aether Foundation could work together...?

-The rating will be PG-13 at the very least, perhaps higher, with explosions and some heavier themes alongside pokemon. I'm willing to lower the rating slightly however. Either way, there will be some violence.

-The protagonist/hero, a teen or young adult, failed to stop Lusamine from permanently opening the Ultra Wormhole. OR the Ultra Beast quest that takes places after Sun/Moon is a total bust and the UBs run rampant despite the hero's best efforts. There are simply too many of them, or...someone kills the hero while they're trying to deal with the UBs.

So, thoughts? Is this rp idea worth pursing or should I stop while I'm ahead? I apologize for being all over the place.

You have a point. I hadn't considered that. Plus, now that I think about it, pokemon are forms of living weapons onto themselves. And killing a cute little buneary just seems...cruel.

I'm personally not a fan of the melting/fusion concept. I think generally the idea is pretty cool though. Most "gritty" Pokemon pitches make me cringe, but this feels rooted in the lore enough to work and offer a fresh experience. I think it'd be cool if you have it so, with Ultra Beasts being so powerful, amassing your own pokemon army is a primary goal for many people. So perhaps have it so Pokemon are extremely valuable. I think that'd add a new dynamic to the well-known "BUT THEY'RE FRIENDS" spiel.
