The Purple Soul
The region of Talin is one of the lesser known regions in the Pokemon Universe, or at least to those who have never been to it. To the ones who know it exists, they know about all the big events that happen in Crawlor City, though most just look over it (as they do with the whole region). But one of the major events that are currently happening in the city, and even region-wide, are the two secretive teams that are mentioned here and there.
Team Spiral and Team Vortex
It seemed to happen over night. Some criminals were caught at the scene of a petty crime. The most interesting part: Lying next to them was a VHS tape that always showed the criminals robbing or stealing whatever their intentions were. But nothing had seemed to have been touched. It's as if someone had seen the tape, and somehow reversed the effects.
That's when the pokemon began to disappear.
Now, in Crawlor Capital City, crimes are being stopped (or apparently never existing before they even happened), and pokemon are disappearing. Crime rates are surprisingly rising, but the risk counter is still at petty thievery and such things.
Then a letter was received by the police, saying a few things:

You have probably been investigating the sudden crime stoppings in the city. And though we have tried to stop the most crimes we can without changing the course of time drastically, but the crime rates have risen too high to go unnoticed. And now that the wild pokemon have begun to disappear, we cannot hide from the public for much longer. The day after you get this letter, please release it to the public. Who are we? We are Team Spiral, a team of trainers and those who want justice in the region of Talin. But another rival team has risen: Team Vortex. They've begun to be seen around area with the pokemon who have disappeared, as well as somehow knowing where we will "fix" a small crime. The public, plus you, should know what is goin on. Your response will be awaited after this message is revealed to the City tomorrow at 12:00pm.
