Home: Unova Region; near Nuvema Town
History: With his parents being in Team Plasma, it was only natural for their son to be raised to be a part of the group. They'd always told him that they liberate Pokemon from terrible trainers, as was their duty. They kept the terrible behind-the-scenes stuff away from him until he was older, revealing bit by bit. He never thought much of it, until he had to do particular things himself.
Electronics had also intrigued Rin as he was growing, and he was taught the ways of the Hacker, getting to the point that he was their top for it. His skills were able to stamp out any of those alarms from the Pokedex that called for help.
He stole his first couple Pokemon, aiming to take care of them himself. He's stolen a few others for Team Plasma. After several of these, he started noticing that the trainers weren't all that bad. He'd also discovered what happened to the Pokemon he had given to Team Plasma. Becoming conflicted, he did his best to investigate further what Team Plasma was really doing, hacking into their systems that they tried to keep him locked out of. He uncovered some terrible deeds done. Grossed out with himself and having been brainwashed into thinking he was doing something for the better good, he took a step back. Of course, Team Plasma wouldn't agree to this, what with the secrets he knew. He does his best to stay away from them, trying to forgive himself for his deeds. He also wants to try and redeem himself, maybe eventually put an end to the Pokemon Gyms as well. Due to his upbringing, he has a conflicted sense of justice. Pokemon are to be protected.
Other: Goodra is the only Pokemon he caught as a Goomy from the wild. The other Pokemon had been stolen, but he spoils them the best he can. Sylveon was originally an Eevee when he first got him.

History:
Emily Was born and raised in Castelia city to a very wealthy family who would often use her as a tool in their shady business. One night after being told she would be married off to another family to help further there wealth and power over the market. She would run away from home so that she can never be used as a pawn again. To this day she on the run from whoever her parents send to chase after her.

History:
Arianna was always raised to take over the family business. While she's always been a wiz for numbers Ari never truly wanted to take over the family business. Day in and day out her father would teach her along with her younger brother and sister about the business. Initially, her disdain for the idea of being a traditional worker would cause many scolding. In general, Arianna was always a child who knew what she wanted and what she would quickly reject from her life. It wasn't for a few years that she learned that her father had no intention of forcing her into a life she didn't like but instead took high offense at her tantrums. After all he only ever meant to give her an option, a path to take if she wished but skills that would help her in any road her life took her down.
As a child, Arianna always took more interest in the tales of adventure and friendship that her mother would share from her own pokemon journey. From a young age, it was clear that even if her path never took her down as a gym master or to face the championship she would be on the road. She was always the first to jump out and chase any pokemon that appeared in town. Realistically the biggest surprise she gave anyone was her turning down the challenge at the tender age of eleven refusing to accept a journey in the region of Kalos, even telling Professor Sycamore that she would not need any such beginning pokemon.
In her eleventh year, she continued to deny any such need for a starter pokemon or any pokemon classes. Instead, she listened well to the stories her mother told her and took mental notes of any struggles she faced. Her younger brother and sister were looking forwards to the day they would get the chance to get their own best friend and yet she herself would not go back on her word. Instead, she saved her money for years eventually stowing away enough to buy a fair deal of pokeballs, some medicines, snacks, and a quality rucksack. Alone she ventured out at the age of fourteen aiming to do it all on her own.
This wouldn't last long at all.
For one she's was still a minor. Supervised pokemon challenges where children have the aid of other children, their regional professor and veterans of the trade that they might come across is very different than a teen with an ego leaving home without even a Pokedex communicator. Naturally, her first ten pokeballs were wasted as she got a few bruises and nothing more for the efforts. Even the youngest Ralts could escape her, let alone if she were aiming for anything outside of her regional knowledge. Soon she ran into a wall. If it wasn't for her mother chasing after her with her team in tow she could have been heavily injured. After a proper scolding and sit down Arianna headed out again, this time with the approval of her parents and a new friend at her side. Her mother's newest pokemon, Celeste would continue her journey with her.
The bond between Arianna and Celeste was already quite strong with Arianna being the one to find her and seek her out when she found her separated from her family. This new journey she would take with Celeste at her side felt more right than any pathed path adventure could ever be. This time instead of staying in Kalos and following in her mother's footsteps into the known pokemon world she sought out a frontier her mother never adventured, the nearby region of Unova. After a quick detour to see Professor Juniper to gain a pokedex, one of her mother's only stipulations, she was off to explore the greater region of Unova with little in her way to stop her.
After a year of general wandering around she met with Skyla and was challenged by her to a match. After failing miserably she decided to take the challenge. Before long she had the first two badges under her belt and was ready to face off against the next gym!

History: Growing up so close to the Ice-type Gym Leader Brycen, she developed a love for Ice-type Pokemon and eventually started idolizing him. She left home with the aspiration of following in his footsteps and becoming a powerful Ice-type Gym Leader as well. She heard of PokeStar Studios being set up as well, and that Brycen plans to participate as an actor when it's finished. She hopes to be able to be a successful actor like him as well.
