Drake is an interesting guy. He is a very nice and caring person, but can be a bit much when you first meet him. Sometimes Drake tries just a little to hard to impress people. This is because he feels as if he isn't quite good enough. This is somewhat strange because Drake is a very competent trainer.
Drake is a funny guy. He usually tries not to be overly serious. Some might even say he is a bit irresponsible, but he doesn't think so. Drake is always trying to have fun, even if there is no fun to be had. He is usually a very relaxed person. When Drake is serious he has this look in his eye, the kind of Look that says he'll get the job done.
At first it may seen as though he doesn't know what he's doing, Drake always pulls through. Drake can be overly confident at times, but his confidence doesn't come from the idea that he's a good Trainer. Drake's confidence comes from the trust that Pokemon seem to have in him.
Backstory:
Drake is an accomplished trainer. Although he hasn't been at it for long he has traveled far and seen a lot of the world and Pokemon that inhabit it.
When Drake first set out on his adventure it was kind of by mistake. When he was 15 years old Drake stumbled upon a small and injured Pokemon, a Noibat. He took the injured Pokemon home where him and his mother cared for it. After a few weeks the Noibat was in perfect health. Although the small creature didn't want to leave Drake's side.
Drake and his new friend Noibat, who he called BattZ set out to Battle. The pair battled all sort of trainers. Before long BattZ had evolved into a strong Noivern.
Drake and BattZ had been through countless battles, but Drake forgot one key part of being a Pokemon master, Catching and training a team. Even though Drake is in his second year of being a trainer he still only has one Pokemon and a long way to go to become a Pokemon master.
