"Dolly and I have been to many contests," the blonde continued to say before suddenly bringing up the doll to ear as if listening to it, "You are right, where are my mannors?" She looks over to Luna and gives what could be described as a seated curtsy, "My name is Alice, Alice Wonderstone. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Luna nodded, raising a brow when she seemed to be talk to her doll. "Oh right! Introductions. My name is Luna Kusaki. And this is Manny." She said giving a gesture to the pokemon sitting in her lap as he waved up to the other girl.

"It's nice to meet you as well." She said before looking at the doll. "Your doll...is it a pokémon?" She asked wondering how she was talking to it.

"Oh, I seem to have forgoten an introduction," Alice said as she held up the rag doll, "This is Dolly. Say hello Dolly."

The doll said nothing.

"That was a very nice greeting, Dolly," Alice said politely before bringing the doll back to her arms.

 

[Yahhah]

“Journeys are often interesting” Akamai said remembering a few past experiences of his. “Did something happen between Pewter and here... If you don’t mind me asking of course”.

"Oh, Plenty," JC said with a slight chuckle, "First we run into an Onix that was blocking the path in Mount Moon that Luna woke up and caused it to go into a rage, Then we had to deal with Team Rocket in Mount Moon. Then Luna trips on a geodude who decided to blow himself up as thanks causing a cave in at the entrance that we barely got out of. Then some strange girl challenged Luna to a battle on the bridge leading out here, then ran into an Abra quiet literally, who teleported us into Cerulean Cave. "

 

[Bloody_Death]

Luna blinked hearing nothing come from the doll and then Alice responding as if it did. Manny gave a rather confused squeal as Luna simply smiled at Alice and her doll.

"Well it's nice to meet you too Dolly." She said to the doll before looking back at Alice. "What other contest have you been in?"

"Plenty," Alice responded politely, "Me and Dolly have participated in many Contests through the different regions of the world and in many different locations."

 

[Yahhah]

“Well that sounds like an adventure and a half, I’ve never heard of a team Rocket before” Akamai said rubbing his chin. “I didn’t really run into anything on the way over here, I guess you and your friend must’ve cleared everything out”.

"I see...ummm." She trailed off a bit awkwardly before rubbing her head a bit sheepishly. "Do you have any advice or tips for a newbie like me? It's okay if you don't wanna say though. We are competitors."

"I Know right?" JC said.

"Ofcourse," She said politely before suddenly her tone changed to an almost creepy way as she uttered her advice to her, "Don't mess up..." There would almost be a cackle after that line but instead her posture returned to it's elegant form as she smiled, "Then you'll do fine."

Just then, an MC came up to the stage as he spoke out to the audience.

"Welcome to the Cerulean Cape Contest," He said, "My name is Buzz Chipper and I'll be one of your judges and host for the event."

Buzz Chipper was a well known host and commentator as he helped provide a voice for everything from Contests to the Pokemon League itself. Some people wonder how he can go around the regions as fast as he does.

"Now, for those of you who haven't seen a contest before allow me to briefly go over the rules," Buzz said, "First we have a round of appeals in which the coordinators will take turns showing off one of their Pokemon. After all of them have made their appeal, only the top 8 will move on to the next round in which they'll participate in a single elimination tournament of Contest battles where your mess ups will cost you points and the more you dazzle us with your moves in battle, the more that will be subtracted from the other's score. If the Pokemon is faints, A trainer's score hits zero, or the timer runs out and you have less points than your opponent, you lose. So, let's get this contest started!!"

Luna could feel chills run down her spine hearing the rather drastic change in tone from the girl. Luna simply nodded at Alice not being sure how to respond anymore. "I-uh! Will keep that in mind. Thanks aha..."

Luckily for Luna the MC began to start the show, which quickly brought Luna's attention away from whatever was happening with Alice. She listened to the rules and gave a slight nod to herself. "Well, best of luck." She said turning to Alice.

Akamai’s attention went straight over to the contest hall. “Oh hey it’s starting” he said.

After Buzz finished his thing things got underway. One at a time different Coordinators went out and did their appeals as the judges ranked them. Finally, Luna was told it was her turn.

Luna happily watched all the coordinators, and even took notes of some of the things they were doing. Once her name was called, she couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. Nevertheless she smiled down at Manny and made her way on stage.

She gave a wave to the crowd as she approached the center of the stage. She gave a short introduction, saying her name, region of origin, and the pokémon she would be showcasing. Which was Manny.

Akamai was silent as the other contestants did their performances. He was pretty impressed, he knew he wouldn’t be able to get his Pokémon to do anything so flashy they must’ve practiced a lot for this. “They’re all so flashy” when Luna came up and introduced herself and her Pokémon Akamai was a little surprised to see a Pokémon he was so familiar with. “Oh hey a Fomantis. Oh I almost forgot has your friend gone yet”? Akamai asked.

"That's her now actually," JC said indicating Luna on stage. It had indeed been an interesting competition as she was impressed along with Akamai. Ofcourse, it still wasn't really for her to compete in. She looked at Luna on Stage and thought she looked nice in her contest attire. Always wondered why some coordinators dressed up for Contests while others didn't. None the less, she cheered out Luna's name.

"Go Luna!" She said not even sure if she heard her or not.

Luna swore she could hear someone call out her name in the crowd. Assuming that it was JC, she smiled giving one last wave in the direction of where she heard her name being called before beginning to start her appeal.

"Alright! Start with growth then follow up with leaf blade!" She called out before tossing the small pokémon up into the air. The Fomantis let out a happy squeal as he was tossed up into the air as it started becoming a bit bigger. At the peak of the toss, Manny stopped growing as its leaf like arms began to glow and grow out. On the way back down he would begin to spin, making him kinda look like some glowing falling star before landing just in front of Luna.

Both Luna and her pokémon did a twirl and gave a similar pose but in different directions. The type of coordination these two seemed to show that this was something that has been practiced in the past.

"Let's finish this up with Aromatherapy!" She called out as Manny gave a squeal in response as the bulb on its head started to glow. Soon a sweet and calming fragrance would begin filling the room along with a slight breeze. The duo end the appeal with Manny jumping into a hand Luna extended down to him and her holding him up into the air as both him and Luna waving to the crowd.

Akamai nodded when he heard that this was JC’s friend. He watched as she did her act. He was pretty impressed, the aromatherapy was a great touch at the end at least Akamai thought so. “They must’ve practiced a lot to pull that off” Akamai noted.

JC applauded with the rest of the crowd as the judges wrote down their score. Seems they were impressed with it as well.

Luna smiled at the applause and brought Manny back down so that he was held in her arms like she usually does. Once the applause was done with she walked off the stage and back into the backstage.

The coordinator's continued their appeals until finally Alice stood up and made her way to the stage with her Doll. She walked forward before sitting the doll in the middle of the stage before backing up and giving a curtsy to the group to signal she was about to begin.

“Wonder what she’s got” Akamai murmured about the woman who’d just taken stage.

Luna was able to watch the rest of the competitors from the back, and was impressed with a lot of them. When Alice was called she watched walk to the center of the stage, and gave a bit more attention compared to the others as this was supposedly someone who has competed in many contest along with talking to her doll.

Alice looked with a strange look on her face before suddenly she began to utter what sounded like some kind of incantation in a foreign language. It was giving off an errie vibe as soon the wind began to pick up. The air continue to circle around Alice and her Doll the creepy air still going off as Alice's incantation continued to get more into it. Dolly then began slowly levitate into the air before becoming level with Alice's head. This continued for a bit as a few apparations began to appear in the area before disapperating before their eyes. It was a very impressive and creepy all at the same time.

Finally, at the air and spook apparaition was at it's peak before suddenly the spooks all flew towards Dolly before a flash was let out. Then the air stopped and Alice stopped her incantation before the doll slowly floated back down to the ground. Alice walked over to it and picked it up as now her face was back to it's usual demeanor. She gave another curtsey before heading to the back.

Luna, was rightfully creeped out by this performance. There's no way that's a normal doll. She still thinks its a type of pokémon, even if her question wasn't answered. Plus, ghost pokémon are just super creepy!

Regardless, Luna gave her applause after Alice's performance. It was still great! Just a bit unsettling aha.
