"I suppose they can be fun," Lindsey said, "If you're really into it. But, if you happen to win, come back here, I may have something for you."

"IF she wins?" JC said, "You're competing too aren't you?"

Lindsey shook her head.

"No," She said, "Now run along you two. Have fun. I'll see you after the Contest."

 

[Bloody_Death]

"I see, well I'll keep that in mind." She said picking up a now dizzy Fomantis before laughing.

Luna was a bit shocked to hear she wasn't performing, there's a lot of excited people out there. She wanted to ask why she wasn't going to preform, but that was business she didn't want to pry in.

"Alright...then we'll see you later, yeah?"

Lindsey nods.

Then JC and Luna leave as she looks to Luna.

"I'll find a spot in the stands," She said, "Good luck."

"Thanks! Guess I'll go and get registered." She waved goodbye to JC before heading to the front desk to ask to register for the upcoming contest.

Akamai decided he should stop standing around and he located the entrance. After he waded his way through a large crowd he found a spot in the stands. He had no clue how long there was left to wait, but other people were sitting in the stands so it couldn’t be too long. He just decided to sit and wait, he would’ve played a tune but felt that may be taken as rude in such a place.

"Ofcourse, just let me see you're Contest Pass and I can register you," the registrationist said to her, "If you don't have one, I'll need to issue you one."

Yahhah

JC wondered around a little bit before finally arriving into the stands for the contest. She had a seat next to another individual as the seats were filling up fast and, it wasn't a bad spot anyways.

"Hope you don't mind I sit here," JC said to the individual.

 

[Yahhah]

Akamai turned slightly when someone took a seat beside of him. “Not at all” he said. He looked back down to the contest. “This is my first time ever seeing a contest, how about you? It looks really cool” he said trying to strike up a conversation.

 

[Bloody_Death]

"Ah, I'm afraid I don't have one. Is there something I need to fill out to get one?" She asked the person at the desk.

"I've might have seen one of two on TV," JC said, "But didn't fully watch all of it."

"If you have a trainer Card, you can swipe that and we can get your information from that," He said, "Otherwise, we'll need you to fill out a form."

 

[Bloody_Death]

"Ah! I do have that." She quickly grabbed her wallet out her bag and pulled her trainer card out before setting it down on the counter. "Here we go."

“It‘s quite an impressive arena. Are you rooting for anyone in particular? Oh wait sorry I’m being rude, asking you all these questions before even introducing myself. My name is Akamai” Akamai introduced himself.

"Very well, just swipe it there," She said pointing to a card swiping machine thing.

Yahhah

"JC," JC returned the introduction, "And yeah, one of my friends is competing."

 

[Bloody_Death]

"Awesome." She smiled and picked her card up again before swiping in the card machine. She then placed the card back in her wallet and put it away.

The receptionist finished doing the things at his end before printing out her new Contest Pass, "There we are," He said, "You're also registered for the Contest, just head on through the doors to get ready. Just remember, you can only use 1 Pokemon during the appeal phrase, unless there's multiple rounds or it, and you can use a different Pokemon during the appeal battle rounds. Enjoy!"

 

[Yahhah]

“Good to meet you” Akamai said. “And that’s pretty cool. I debated taking up contests when I registered for the gym challenge but I figured I should just stick with one thing at a time”.

 

[Bloody_Death]

Luna smiled at her new card and happily took it before placing it into her bag. "Thank you Sir." She said before heading off to get ready.

“Alright then let’s do that then, I’m curious to see how contests work to be honest.” Issac replied as he joined Hailey to head to the contest hall. Though he still wanted to check on the status of the gym that could wait a bit to indulge in seeing something that was new to him.

Inside the waiting area, Luna would see various other coordinators. One of which was sitting politely with a nice blue dress and blonde hair. Holding in her arms was what looked to be an old rag doll which looked out of place to her otherwise proper look.

Yahhah

"I just prefer to do battles," JC admited, "Too much fancy stuff for this girl."

Soon enough they reached the Contest Hall and headed inside. There didn't seem to be a contest starting as they walked up to the registration.

"Excuse me," Hailey said, "I... I'd like to compete in the next Pokemon Contest."

"Ofcourse," Said the Receptionist, "Do you have a Contest pass?"

The girl nodded as she handed over her card to be registered.

"Very well," She said, "Now, we don't have another Contest until Tomorrow. But you're all registered now."

She then returned the card back to her.

"Thank You," Hailey replied before looking back to Issac, "So... are you leaving?" It was easy to tell by the sound of her voice that she didn't want to travel alone, especially after what happened to her in the woods.

 

[Yahhah]

“Oh, you’re apart of the gym challenge too. That’s neat” Akamai said before looking back out at the contest hall. “Wonder how much longer until the contest starts”?

Yahhah

"Wouldn't know to be honest," JC said with a shrug, "could be soon, could be waiting a longer for more people to sign up. But, you said you're in the gym challenge? How many badges you got so far?"

 

[Bloody_Death]

Luna looked around the waiting room and taking notes of what people were wearing and doing. After a shot while she would head into the dressing room to change.

The outfit she'd soon change into would be a gift from her elder sister, as an attempt to get her into contest. Once Luna finished changing, she would now be in an open back, sleeveless pastel purple dress with plenty of ruffles and some moon charms hanging from the bottoms of the dress. Along with the dress were some matching frilly armbands and black lace up flats.

Once all the dressing up was down she quickly pulled her hair out of its ponytail and brushed it out before clipping a ribbon to the side of her head. Simple, but Luna didn't know too much about hair.

She stepped out of the dressing room and went to go take a seat next to a blond girl in a blue dress. She glanced at the doll she had in her arms before leaning back and taking a moment to breath.

"A pleasant Evening for a Contest, no?" The blonde asked in her polite manor of speaking.

“I guess there’s no rush I’m just excited” Akamai rubbed the back of his hair as if embarrassed at his own excitement. “I’ve only got one badge so far. From the rock type gym leader Brock. what about you”?

Yahhah

"Same Actually," JC said, "Wanted to check out the Cape before we went to the gym. Been... an interesting journey to get here."

Luna peeked up hearing someone talk to her, and turned to the person beside her and nodded. "I agree." She said before smiling a bit. "This is my first contest, so I hope everything goes okay. How about you? Is this your first time? Or are you a vet?" She said with a bit of a chuckle.
