"I hear you," JC said with a nod and chuckle, "Feels like the longest trek ever with so many side quests."

They continued ik before finally arriving on the cape. It looked beautiful with a great view. To the northern part of the cape they'd see the Contest Hall where they'd see a flock of people at the entrance.

"Hopefully there will be no more." She said tiredly as she trailed behind JC as they made their way to the cape.

It was indeed a sight to behold. Luna couldn't help but smile as she looked around the area before turning to the flock of people. "I'm guessing that's the training hall?"

Auggie gave a slight sigh as he heard the news from the newcomer, it disappointed him, but what was he to do about it. Auggie quickly changed his focus from the female he jus battled to his sister, “I came here to try and make things better with my sister, only for her to be knocked out. Talk about bad timing.” Auggie walked over to Koranna’s Staraptor who was holding her, and rubbed the side of the birds face. “You must really enjoy my sister quite abit huh?” Auggie grabbed his sister’s pokeballs and returned both Rainfell and Fluffy to rest.

Auggie turned to Altaria who was close to Koranna and Ace, he gave her a gentle smile while holding out his hand. “Am Auggie. Is my sister a friend of yours? Even if she wasn’t I still owe you a thank you for looking after her. My brothers and I weren’t at all the nicest to her.” His hand still remained out for Altaria to shake, he looked over to Drew however and tilted his head, “hey you! Are you with my sister as well?” Within Auggie’s voice there was more of an aggression, I mean, he was her big brother after all, and he got a hint of boyfriend relationship from Drew. “If you are...Well if you aren’t, thank you.”

JC was taken away from the beauty of the cape. She knew instantly why it was such a great dating spot. She glanced over seeing Luna's smile which only caused her own smile to increase. Then Luna glanced towards the Contest Hall and the crowd of people and asked her question.

"Contest Hall," JC corrected, "And honestly, not sure what's up with all those people there... maybe a Contest is about to start?"

Altaira then looked over to Auggie as he introduced himself as she gives him a slight nod.

"Altaira," She said to him before noticing the underlining tone towards Drew. She then brought her thoughts back to the matter of hand, "Yeah, your sister was accused of a robbery in Pewter... didn't help that girl's Rufflet slammed her on her head a little while ago. We should probably get her back to Pewter."

She would of prefered not to return to Pewter until the investigation into the Pewter City Mueseum robbery was taken care of, but she knew they wouldn't really have much of a choice.

"Ah! Right." She laughed a bit sheepishly realizing she said something completely different than what she meant. "Anyway! You're probably right. That or someone is out there talking. Either way we need to investigate!" She said with a grin before beginning to walk. Motioning for JC and her pokémon to follow behind as she made her way closer to the crowd.

As they get closer to the crowd, they'd notice that it wasn't exactly a happy crowd as it seemed that a rhyhorn had decided to take a nap right in front of the Contest Hall's entrance. Keeping the people from getting inside.

"A Rhyhorn?" JC mused to herself, "Didn't think they were found around here."

Luna's smile faded when she heard and saw the angry faces of the people at the door. "You know...I don't think they're very happy." She said rubbing her head and trying to look through the crowd to see the problem.

"Well that's kinda...unexpected. What's with sleeping pokémon and blocking the entrance to places?" She said with a sigh before rubbing her head. "Is there no other entrances?" She asked before trying to break out of the crowd and look around.

"Not that I know of," JC remarked. She wanted a better look at the Pokemon. Maybe even catch it. After all it was on her to get list for her team. She did her best to get to the front of the crowd. She finally made it before suddenly a pokeball came flying out and hit the Rhyhorn... 3 shakes later and it was caught causing JC to sigh. But the crowd seemed grateful before someone jumped down having gotten up higher on the front of the building to get past the crowd. She had blonde hair and a yellow shirt with blue jeans. When she raised up and people could see her face, they went ballistic suddenly cheering for this one person.

"She's Back!" "Is that Lindsey?" "I thought she was gone for good?"

JC just sort of stood there not really sure who she was. She hadn't watched many contests so she couldn't say she knew who this person was.

Luna was a bit confused seeing that JC was heading towards the front of the crowd. It then occurred that maybe she wanted to catch the pokémon. Which made sense, who wouldn't wanna catch a pokémon that was already asleep?

Not wanting to make her way back through the crowd she simply made her way to one of the sides and peered in through the people. Manny on the other hand, was easily slipping through the people and making his way to JC along with Sammy following rather closely behind him. The two were already rather close to the redhead when the pokéball was thrown.

When Luna heard the three dings and a click, she went to clap thinking it was JC catching it, however, that didn't seem to be the case as people were cheering for a different person. "Lindsey...?" She said to herself before turning to one of the people from the crowd. "Who is that?" She asked the stranger trying to get a view of who this person was.

"You don't know who that is?" The guy said looking at her, "Why she's a Contest Star! She was unstoppable! A true prodigy, raised by her parents who were stars before that. Ofcourse, Lindsey had suddenly stopped competing and no one's has really heard from her since. OMG I think she may be making a return!"

JC, hadn't exactly heard the one guy's explanation but she had gathered as much from various people talking around her, nearly wanting to storm the blonde right then and there. Lindsey glanced over at the crowd as she gave a slight smirk.

"Well... guess I couldn't get by unnoticed, huh?" She said.

"We love you Lindsey!" Said another.

"... Well, now," Lindsey said as there was a slight aire to her that read she didn't really want people to know she was there, "I'll just get out of your guys way, so enjoy the Contest." She then quickly went into the entrance doors and they lost sight of her after that, but that didn't stop the crowd from now going straight into the place even more excited now as the possible return of such a great star.

Luna nodded slowly at the man trying to recall if she's ever heard her sister mention that name before. The name wasn't ringing a bell though. She sighed a bit and glanced around making sure all her pokémon were accounted for, before noticing that both Manny and Sammy were gone.

"Gahhh why does he always wander off. And her even too Sammy with him too!" She said out loud before beginning to hunt around for the two pokémon. With this now being the focus of her mind she didn't really catch what the legendary contest star was saying. Not that she could over the cheers of the people.

Meanwhile the two lost pokémon were now standing right beside JC watching the blondie talk to the crowd. And when she walked off and the people came pouring in, panic overcame the two pokémon as they ran around trying to avoid the many people before ultimately clinging onto JC's legs as the people passed by.

When the majority of the people were gone and Luna could actually see the doors to the inside she could spot the two small pokémon and sighed before running up to JC.

"And that's what you two get for running off." She said before chuckling a bit. "Anyway, it sucks that you didn't get to catch that pokémon, but it seems we've ran into a returning star?" Luna wasn't too sure what to think about her yet and couldn't really describe how she felt about the whole ordeal.

JC wasn't really sure what to think as Lindsey had left and the crowd began to file into the place. She then noticed two tugs on her pant legs as she glanced down to see Manny and Sammy clutching her legs to avoid getting stomped on by the passing crowd. She couldn't help but chuckle slightly herself.

When the Crowd finally dispersed inside the Contest Hall and Luna walked up to JC she gives her a nod in return to what she said.

"Yeah.... I was THIS close too," She said, "Now... I'm not sure where I'll be able to get me one before we get to Vermilion." She let out a small sigh, "Anyways, there may be a contest about to start.... so you could see about entering if you wanted."

"I wonder what it was even doing here..." She said thinking that if there's one than there's sure to be others somewhere. Hearing the mention of entering the contest, she quickly gave a nod before calling back the most of her pokémon and picking up Manny off of the ground.

"I agree. Let's head in before anything else gets in our way!" She exclaimed before quickly heading into the building and taking a look around.

The reception area was rather large, almost as large as a Pokemon Center's. As JC and Luna looked around they'd see a few people talking excitedly about the up coming contest, and even a few about seeing THE Lindsey. JC glanced up to the counter where you could register for the Contest. Most of the people were filing through the doors to the stands to watch the performances.

As they were looking around, suddenly, one of the doors of the side opened slightly with an arm sticking out.

"Hey... you two," Came a voice from the other side, "Come here for a second."

While the contest hall was indeed very large and rather amazing to look at, it was a bit more crowded then she expected. Quite frankly she didn't know what to expect at all. After getting a good look at the reception hall she would begin to make her way to the front desk to possibly register for the contest that seemed to be starting soon, or maybe even an upcoming one should it be too late.

However, she stopped in her tracks when she heard someone call out to the two of them. She turned to look at the opening door and raised a brow. "Um..." She started, not liking the idea of entering an unknown room with a stranger. She then turned to JC. "Are they talking to us...?" She whispered over to her.

“Hope we meet again some day!” Issac called out as he watched his friend leave with the aide, he then looked around the city wondering what he was going to do now that he was here. “Should we let the police know about the theft?” He asked Shade in regards to Hailey’s missing Pokémon with the fox only giving him a look that seemed to question why he was even asking in the first place, which is only natural given how incompetent Orre police tended to be. “Guess that was a stupid question. How about we check to see if that gym is open yet.” He then answered and headed over to check on the gym.

With more people showing up, alongside her Ruflet’s misbehavior, the girl was finding more awkward to achieve her objective here, and so decided it would be best to leave Altaria alone for now. So she took out a small metal rod from her bag and tossed it in the air, and almost on cue her Ruflet immediately broke free of its ball and caught the rod in its talons leaving just enough room for the black haired girl to jump up and grab the pole with her right hand to suspend herself in the air. “We’ll run into each other again soon enough, Red.” She the states while looking straight at Altaria. “Bastion. Fly over that mountain.” She then ordered and with a hearty cry the Ruflet took off towards mount moon.

Drew gently put Koronna down softly as his hip vibrated.

He fished his poke-gear out of his pocket before awnsering it. After a few minutes of talking his face went white. "Alright man I'll be there as soon as I can." He said. He looked down at Koronna then at Alteria. "Sorry but... Something's come up. I'm going to have to leave." He said before turning around and walking away

JC had caught the sight of the arm and voice as well.

"I think so," JC said but from the tone of the voice, didn't sound like whoever it was, meant them any harm, "Let's see what they want. Besides, there's a whole crowd of people here for them to try anything."

She headed over as she was let into the room where the person was.

Hailey watched as she was starting to feel better. So she had Golurk sit her down before she put him back in her Pokeball. "... I wanna go to the Contest hall...." She said though she only had the one Pokemon and Golurk wasn't exactly known for it's.... coordination.

Luna nodded slowly, while glancing at the other people, but followed behind JC as she walked into the room and closing the door behind her.

"So...what's up?" She asked a bit awkwardly to the stranger.

The stranger in question, was Lindsey. She looked to them before tossing a pokeball at JC.

"Here," She said as JC caught it.

"What's this?" She asked.

"I over heard you was after that Rhyhorn," Lindsey said, "I only caught it to get it out of the way."

"Oh... uh thanks," JC said as she was happy to have the new Pokemon on her team.

Luna smiled at the exchange. "Awesome! Looks like you did manage to get Rhyhorn before Vermilion" She gave a happy chuckle and placed Manny on the ground since there seemed to be much less people than out in the main room.

"Yup," JC said, "This will help with taking on Surge!"

Lindsey looks between the two of them then turns her attention more on Luna.

"Here to sign up for the Contest?" Lindsey asked her.

Akamai Kahale

Akamai moved peacefully through a field, he had a flute in hand and was playing a jolly tune presumably as a way to entertain himself. By his feet his Lycanroc Flint was stretching his legs, padding nearby to his trainer's side, the pokemon seemed to be enjoying the melody and the scenery. Akamai too seemed to like the geography of Kanto, it'd been a good trip though he hadn't been in Kanto for long. It was a lot warmer in Kanto then Sinnoh so Akamai appreciated that. He'd arrived in Pallet town a few days prior and had registered for the gym challenge. Akamai had seen other people partake in gym challenges once or twice in his travels though he'd never joined in himself and his battle with Brock in Pewter city had not disappointed him. Though it'd been his first gym battle Akamai had asked Brock to use a team that was closer in power to his own. The battle had been amazing, Bo had really shown his worth against Brock's Graveler, and Rhyhorn though he couldn't have won without Thresher and Bruiser's power. Now he was on his way to Cerulean city where another gym was run by someone named Misty. Akamai suddenly stopped, he had reached the bridge that read into Cerulean. Akamai put his flute into his bag and returned Flint to his pokeball. Akamai looked around him and took in the sights of Cerulean, the first thing to catch his attention was a poster advertising a pokemon contest at the cape, that sounded really cool. Akamai had always wanted to watch a pokemon contest but he never seemed to be able to be in a town when they were happening. Akamai looked around to try and figure out where the cape was. He recognized where it was and decided to head over that way. There was a massive crowd, Akamai took his time admiring the contest hall from the outside, it was huge. Bigger even then the gym in Pewter city had been, one of the largest buildings Akamai had ever seen. "Wonder when it starts" he said to himself looking around again.

Luna smiled at JC before turning to Lindsey. She crossed her arms for a moment but nodded.

"Yup! At least that's what I plan to do. I've never done one before but I've been told they're fun, so I wanted to try them out." She explained to the girl as Manny nodded in agreement and began spinning type dance.

"Manny seems to think they're a good idea too haha."
