"Ah! Watch out, Chestnut!" As the two were a bit distracted the Chespin wasn't able to dodge the shard as it hit the side of his body suffering a rather big blow but was able to hang on.

"Shake it off Chestnut and use rollout!" Her pokemon quickly followed not being too happy to be taken by surprise. He quickly rolled into a ball and began speeding towards the opposing pokemon.

Issac looked up towards Hailey with a worried expression. He could hardly imagine what the girl was going through, no if anything he knew exactly what she was going through to done extent, and he wasn’t going to let her be all mopey. So he nodded to Shade, who repeated the motion, and once they came upon the exit to the forest the Zoroark activated its illusion ability to create a large rainbow over Viridian city before they stepped out.

"Double Team," Shadow said as suddenly, the Sneasel made multiple copies of itself in order to make it harder to it. The Chespin hit one of these copies, "Now Ice Shard again."

Each copy charged up and tossed the icy attack towards Chespin. Which one was real and which was an illusion you couldn't tell.

Chestnut watched the two ice shards knowing that he'd be able to dodge one at the most. The problem was not knowing which one was real or not.

"Chestnut! dodge one of the shards and use rollout to at the other." Chespin nodded and got out of the way of one of the shards and jumped up before preforming another rollout towards the other shard of ice and one of the Sneasel. If the shard was real then the curl he was in would help prevent some of the damage but his health would be at an all-time low as he drew closer to the other pokemon. If it was fake then Chespin would simply end up landing just in front of Luna.

Sure enough the one he went after was the fake causing the Chespin to land right in front of Luna. But, Shadow seemed to use this to her advantage.

"Faint Attack," She with an almost sadistic smirk as the Sneasil's quick claw kicked into affect, causing it to quickly speed over to Chesnut's location and slam it's attack into him. But that's not all it did as the force threw Chesnut right into Luna herself.

The attack did just as it was intended to. The hit caused Chestnut to faint along with being pushed right into Luna. She managed to catch the pokemon but not without stumbling back from the impact. She quickly regained her balance and grabbed Chestnut's Pokeball and calling him back.

She tapped her foot for a moment before grabbing Pachu's pokeball and throwing it out. And just like before, the Pikachu gave a rather irritated growl from being called out. And as a trait that has shown to be consistent through this Pikachu's attitude, it went ahead and tried to thundershock the pokemon in front of him without being told to do so.

Bad mistake on the Pikachu's part as Sneasil managed to dodge, and well it was still close to Luna so the attack went straight for her. Ofcourse, this time, JC managed to push Luna out of the way just in time... but was zapped by the attack instead.

"Oh gosh." She quickly helped JC after she was shocked. "I'm sorry about that, I'll have Eliza heal you up very quickly." She turned to the Pikachu and he seemed to flinch a bit thinking he would be scolded for attacking her instead of the Sneasil, but that didn't seem to be the case.

"Don't worry about it Pachu, let's just focus on the battle at hand. Try and lure Sneasil away from us before attacking again. And watch out for its ice shard and feint attack" Pachu nodded slowly as he ran away from Luna and JC and more towards the center of the two and the opponent. However, still acting on its own, he chose to actually think a bit before attacking. Pachu would let out another rather loud and endearing growl aimed at the Sneasil hoping to lure it closer to itself along with lowering its attack.

Back to Luna and JC, Luna quickly set JC back down and called out Eliza. "Alright, can you use Heal Pulse on JC. She got hit by one of Pachu's thundershocks." The Aduino nodded and stood next to the redhead before emitting a rather calming pulse.

If pokemon healing moves don't work on humans, then you can just ignore that last part. I would assume it would, but I'm not sure.))

JC was healed but thankfully the move hurt more than it did any lasting damage. Still she was appreciated nonetheless. When she healed she looked back to Shadow.

"Hey, careful with those attacks," JC said mad at Shadow. Shadow only gives a slight shrug.

"She should pay more attention," Shadow said before looking back to the battle, "Double Team."

Sneasel used it's move to duplicate itself again but the growl still had it's affect. The duplicates came in at different directions at the pikachu.

"Faint Attack," Shadow commanded as both execute the move at the same time in order to further confuse the Pikachu.l

As the Golurk stepped out, Hailey happened to look up and see that rainbow and couldn't help but smile a little. It was a pretty sight anyways. As the group continued on she kept looking at the rainbow until finally she felt alot more calm... ofcourse, being out of the forest also was helping.

"...I... I'm a coordinator," Hailey let out, "... at least I want to be.... I was heading to Viridian for the Contest when..." She began to tear up a bit.

Take the attack! And once you see the real one thundershock it!" Pachu was unsure as to why he should take the attack, but it didn't really seem to matter as it would've been impossible for him to dodge the attack anyway. The hit from the Sneasel would cause little sparks to come from his cheeks and possibly shock the pokemon. Not in a way that would injure the pokemon but cause it to become paralyzed. This was due to its ability to static.

Pikachu quickly shook off the attack as it didn't seem to hurt it as much as he expected and went to try and thundershock the Sneasel once again.

"Shadow Ball," Shadow said as some how the quick claw overrode Sneasel's new paralysis as it managed to launch the attack just before it was hit by the ThunderShock. It wasn't enough to KO it however.

Getting hit with the Shadow ball was not pleasant for Pachu. It hurt a bit more than the downgraded feint attack.

"Use tail whip then pull away. When you feel that you're far away enough, use thundershock" Pikachu nodded and turned to run away from the Sneasel while flipping and wagging its tail around. Once a rather good amount of space was between the pokemon, Pachu quickly turned around and fired off a thundershock and then quickly prepared for another thundershock attack.

"Keep close," Shadow ordered as her pokemon kept close to the Pikachu. But then the paralysis kicked in causing the gap when the thunder shock came.

"Reverse, then Faint attack."

Sneasel obeyed as it used, not an attack, but the word to portray what it should do as Sneasel dashes at pikachu and grabs him before tossing him causing the attack to hit the pikachu instead of sneasel. Then before the pikachu landed it hit it with its faint attack, causing the pikachu to fly over and land right in front of Luna.

Koranna and Auggie Hutson​

Koranna was trying to reflect on the fact she was just suplexed by a Rufflet, she also didn’t know how she was conscious right now. She coulda sworn her head bleeding though, She tried to pick her head up only to lay back down. It was delayed, but she did eventually cry out in pain. With that cry Rainfell appeared out of his pokeball, giving a death glare at the bird. Right away Rainfell grabbed it’s scalp chop and used Razor blade, charging at the bird. It slashed the tiny Pokemon hoping it hit. Rainfell stood on all fours with a very furious look in his eyes.

Koranna was still laying on the ground, in pain, in tears, and kinda regretting her life right now. She wasn’t someone to normally ask for help, but honestly she needed help right now. She looked to the side wondering how long she would lay here, not like she minded...She was rather comfortable lying in the dirt right now. Koranna turned her head the other way groaning out in pain as her head pounded, likely concussed if she had to take a wild guess. How to ask for help? She didn’t really know. Koranna relied on her herself for a lot of things because her brothers never really gave her any hands.

Auggie pointed his finger to the sky as he smiled widely at the accepted request to battle. “Nightbringer let’s bring the heat! Use your Tri Attack!” Nightbringer responded to his trainer’s commands as her three heads began to charge up their move, launching the attack at Trapinch. Nightbringer quickly moved high in the sky with confidence because she knew she had the advantage in the air.

Luna watched this all play out and when the Pikachu landed in front of her, be it a bit tired out but still able to keep going, she'd quickly crouch down to pat him. She'd then whisper something to it quickly before hopping back up earning a confused expression from the pokémon.

"Alright! Tail whip!" She called out as Pachu quickly turned away from the Sneasel and waved it's tail around once again in a mockingly cute kind of way.

Altaira walked over to Koranna after glaring at the bird Pokemon that did that to her. She knelt down to Koranna and helped her up.

"I have NO idea what's going on with that bird," She said, "But you ok?"

The tail whip took affect as sneasel's defense was lowered.

"Ice Shard," Shadow said as the Sneasel launched another ice shard attack at Pikachu.

"Jump over it then use thundershock." It seemed the Pikachu already had the jump in mind as he was already up in the air as the shard flew underneath him. Luna stepped to the side allowing for the shard of ice to hopefully not hit her before coming back to her original spot.

Once Pachu landed he quickly charged up another thundershock and shot it right at the Sneasel keeping his eyes locked on it.

Drew watched the exchange. He decided to take a step back. He decided that it would be best if he stayed in the background for now and watch over this crew. Though he did wonder where that roufliet came from

Koranna had her hand holding onto her head if this were an anime show she would have the spinny eyes like she was knocked out. She slowly nodded before nearly toppling over again. She blinked and caught herself before toppling over. "Th-thanks Altaria." Koranna stuttered as she was still trying to comprehend what the hell just happened.

The thundershock hit but like before it was a decent hit but nothing to write home about. Not that the tailwhip done anything as it lowers Defense and thundershock was Special Attack. Ofcourse, the ice shard actually barely knicked Luna on the arm... seemed it was like it KNEW the pikachu may dodge and Luna would try to side step it.

"Pittiful," Shadow said shaking her head, "That the best you can do?" She turned almost glaring at JC, "I can't believe this is HER." Shadow then shrugged as she returned her attention to the battle, "Finish this with faint attack."

The Sneasel obliged as it headed over to the pikachu before sinking in it's faint attack.

Altaira tried her best to help her get steady. Shooting a glare at the Rufflet who did this in the first place.

Luna grinned a bit waiting for the girl to call out another Feint Attack before turning away from the battle and holding out her arm slightly. Similar to what happened to Chestnut, the force of the attack sent the Pikachu flying towards Luna however, with the both of them expecting this to happen it would be possible to use this to their advantage.

When Pachu flew back, he quickly oriented himself to face Luna and latched onto the girl's extended arm. "Let's Go!Thundershock!" She called out and the Pikachu quickly followed. Now using the momentum from the Pikachu she was able to spin around and throw the pokémon up into the air, but not without sustaining some damage due to the fact that she was in contact with a charged up Pikachu. Resulting in a rather red mark on her arm.

The now charged up Pikachu landed on all fours just behind the Sneasel. Now, instead of shooting out the built up energy like usual, he instead released the energy on itself and rammed itself right into the other pokémon. Doing this turned the so called 'thundershock' into more of a volt tackle. Which would be 'buffed up' due to decrease in Sneasel's defense.

It indeed was Volt tackle as the move found its mark. The damage was enough to KO Sneasel but at the price of Pikachu KOing itself due to recoil. Shadow recalled her pokemon with a slight scoff.

"Sacrificing not only your Pokemon but your arms too, pathetic," Shadow said before pulling out a new Pokeball, "But here let me help you with those electric burn marks."

Shadow tosses the pokeball and out comes an electrivire.

"Aww, while it did come at a cost you have to admit it was still pretty amazing, yeah?" She smiled at her Pikachu and called him back. Within that one battle it seemed that they really got along. To the point where Pachu was actually listening to her. That was enough of a win to her. Plus, the damage from the shock didn't seem to leave any permanent or serious injury. Just a bit of a minor burn.

"Anyway! I was against this at first, but you're an amazing battler. So I can't help but enjoy it." She admitted with a little hum before turning to Eliza. "Do you wanna try?" The Aduino happily nodded and took its place on the field staring at the Electrivire.

Shadow shakes her head. "You're just pathetic and scum," She said, "You need to just pack up and go home, and I'll be showing you exactly how much you DON'T belong out here. Now, Electrivire, start off with Electric Terrain."

The Eletrivire nods before blasting off powerful electrical energy that surrounded the field causing electrical attacks to increase in power and to prevent Pokemon from calling asleep for 5 turns.
