Aduino successfully got confused, but still seemed to be able to tell what was happening around her for the most part. Luna turned to give a nod to JC before turning back to Aduino.

"Leave the Zubat alone for now and use hyper beam on the raticate Eliza. It's the one that looks like a yellow circle!" She said just incase the confusion made her mistake one pokémon for another. Aduino quickly nodded and turned in the direction of the raticate, or rather the figure that Luna describe, before quickly charging up and firing a rather fast beam to it.

As this was happening Luna quickly grabbed Pachu's pokéball and tossed the Pikachu out. It gave a rather irritated call, obviously not wanting to fight or even try to listen to her. Luna sighed a bit. "If you don't take out that zubat it'll steal all the pokébeans you love so much Pachu!" The Pikachu reacted the way Luna had hoped, which was enraged. Kinda like how he was when they first met this specific Pikachu.

And without even Luna telling him to do so, Pachu went right to trying to thunder shock the zubat in a rather aggressive way.

Treecko with fast movements escapes rock pokemon. "Treecko" "With your speed you should be able to follow and evade Geodude. Use Energy Ball. Treecko goes after Geodude with Energy Ball.

The thunder shock found it's mark and zubat went down for the count. As for the Hyper Beam, it also found it's mark causing the Raticate to faint. Both Rockets recalled their Pokemon yet, neither seem to mad about it.

Ofcourse, JC's first thought was relief yet oddly enough she seen the look on their faces and she couldn't help but feel uneasy.

"Careful," JC said to Luna, "I have a feeling their up to something."

"Well, you're a better trainer than that one at least," Said the Rocket with the Zubat, "But, it's time for you to lose."

He pulls out another Pokeball but just the way his posture was and that look on his face, JC couldn't help but think what they were about to see was a super strong Pokemon.

"And when you lose," Said the other trainer who also pulled out another Pokemon, "We'll be taking those Pokemon of yours, for you interrupting our capture of the Omastar."

This time the energy ball found it's mark as it was enough to KO the geodude. Brock nodds as he recalls it.

"Not bad," Brock said before he adressed Geodude in it's pokeball, "Good job, you deserve a good rest."

Brock then pulled out his second pokemon.

"Well, let's see how you handle Pokemon of larger size," Brock said before tossing out his Pokeball, "Go, ONIX!"

The Pokeball opened and in a burst of light the rock snake Pokemon appeared on the battle field.

Luna smiled when both of her pokemon hit their targets and quickly praised both of them, however, that smile quickly faded as they both reached for another Pokeball. Luna wasn't sure she could take on two more pokemon. Pachu was probably just going to thundershock whatever was in front of him, Eliza is still confused and has to recharge from her hyper beam, and lastly, there was Manny who doesn't really seem like he wanted to fight.

Luna kept her eyes on the two trainers but pulled the Adunio back and behind her so that she could hopefully recover from her confusion and her hyper beam attack while Pachu was just sparking and ready to attack at the glance of any pokemon that gets pulled out in front of him. "Right, well we'll see what happens." She said waiting for whatever pokemon they were about to pull out.

The two of them tossed out their Pokemon. One was a Sandshrew the other had a Noctowl. Yet, there was something different about these Pokemon. They just stood there, staring at almost nothing as they just looked forward. JC was getting a strange feeling about these two Pokemon. Why was this? What did Team Rocket do to them?

"Careful," JC said, "There's something not right about those Pokemon."

Luna got a bit of an unsettling feeling from this pair of pokémon. They seemed very...lifeless? It was weird. Either they were trained really strictly to seem like husk or something happened to them.

Pachu hesitated a bit also getting a bit of a weird vibe from these pokémon before going and trying to thunder shock the Noctwol. "While Pachu is attacking, take time to rest and guard for now Eliza." Eliza noddes and stepped back infront of Luna, being a bit less confused to the point where she could at least see a bit, and guarded till she was rested enough to fight again.

The noctowl just took the attack. Didn't flinch, nothing. When the attack clear the Noctowl was still standing there just as before. The grunt chuckled.

JC saw the attack and was just wide eyed. How could that not have any affect? It was super effective after all?

"Shadow Rush," The Rocket said and suddenly, Noctowl was surrounded in a dark aura before suddenly it move and slammed into Pachu, the move was not only Super effective but KO'd Pachu in one hit. The Noctowl then settled back in place as it continued it's strange stare.

"H-Huh...?" She was shocked. The Noctowl seemed to take no damage. Even if their pokémon was much strong than her own, it should've at least reacted to it in some way. Luna watched as her pikachu was knocked straight out and bit her lip slightly. Was there maybe some type of item that could nullify super effective moves? She didn't think such thing existed, but there was no explaining what just happened.

"How did your pokémon do that...?" She asked watching the bird pokémon get back into its strange pose. There was something clearly wrong with the pair of pokémon. She wasn't sure what to do next. Eliza only had hyper beam for offense but it would be stupid to have her fire it another time as it would be predictable and she would be wide open for the second pokémon since it wouldn't be getting attacked. She didn't really want to send Manny out against these two.

Luna turned to JC with a worried expression. She was pretty sure she couldn't beat the two of them at this rate and wasn't sure what they should do next.

The Rocket only smirks at her question. He was smart and knew not to reveal anything. Instead he turned his attention to her Audino.

"No hiding now," He said, "Noctowl, Shadow Hold."

Just then, a shadowy aura came out from Noctowl as it grabbed Audino and dragged it into the battle field, locking it down so that it couldn't leave. That's when the other Rocket nods to finish things off.

"Now, Shadow Blitz," The other Rocket said as the Sandshrew came in and hit it's Shadow move on the trapped Audion causing it to faint just like the pikachu.

JC was watching this all. How could they have such power? This was insane. But, what were they to do? She DID have another Pokemon but... She looked to Luna seeing her worried expression. She only had Manny left now and she wasn't sure if it'd be able to do the job.

"Now," one of the Rocket Grunts said, "Hand over your Pokemon and get lost."

"Or you'll see first hand just how strong these Pokemon are," said the other.

Seeing Eliza faint was a huge drop in moral for both Manny and Luna. Since Eliza is a well trained pokémon from her parents, it was only natural that she was the strongest of the team, even if she was more of a support pokémon. Luna quickly called the Aduino back and placed the pokéball, along with all her others, in her bag rather than her belt as she usually would. She had no intentions to giving up a single one of her pokémon so she simply stood there holding onto the strap of her bag along with Manny.

If there was anything she learned from parents, is to never turn one's back on them. So that's exactly what she's going to do.

"Well...neither of you will be taking any of my pokémon that easily. So you better hope no one walks by and catches you beating up a pair of helpless of children." She said being fully aware of what may happen as a result of possible provoking them more.

Manny was curled up in Luna's arms squealing in an alarmed way for very obvious reasons. Luna tried to reassure the Fomantis but it didn't really seem to work.

Without a care about giant rock snake Ren says "Giga Drain" "Treecko" And Treecko starts absorbing energy from onix.

"Onix, dig under ground," Brock commanded his Pokemon as it dived into the soil not taking too much damage from the giga drain attack.

"Have it your way then," He said, "Noctowl use Sh..."

"Wait a moment," JC said stepping forward. She felt this was still a bad situation but, she wasn't about to let them hurt Luna... "The battle's not over yet."

"Oh really?" The Rocket said, "Well go ahead then, whatever possible Pokemon you could think of using won't work against these two."

JC growled furiously as she pulled off her pokeball containing the Charizard. She didn't want to have to do this but, it was their only chance at this point, "Ok Dragon," She said pulling back her arm for the throw, "Let's Go!"

JC tossed the ball and in a flash of light, the Charizard appeared on the battle field.

"Ooh, big scary Chariz-what in the..."

The charizard in question suddenly roared as a furious look came over it's features. It didn't even seem to waist a second as it dashed at the Noctowl and hitting it with a devastating Slash attack. Yet, this time the Noctowl seemed to flinch as it turned it's dead stare towards the Charizard, but the Charizard wasn't done as it started up a rampaige hitting slash and Flamethrower in a row against the Noctowl. The Pokemon was batted around here and there before finally it fainted, but that only seemed to make the large fire lizard even madder as it continued to just beat down on the unconscious bird.

"What in the..." The Rocket said in astonishment, "That kind of power... it's impossible."

"Go around field with your fast moves, but be prepared for attack." Treecko starts moving around field watching for giant rock snake pokemon.

There was rumbling from beneath the gym arena. Soon enough the Pokemon came up from beneath Treecho to strike him.

"Now use Energy Ball on rising Onix from earth." In moment of appearing from earth Treecko jumps in air and use ball of enregy on giant rock snake pokemon.

The Onix despite the Treecho jumping fast, the move with Onix rising up fast managed to hit the wood geiko Pokemon. However, the energy ball still hit it's mark on the Onix as it was KO'd.

Brock nods as he returns the Onix, "Good job," He said. He crossed over while pulling out a boulder badge to give him.

"Here, take this boulder badge as a sign of your victory," Brock said as he held out the badge for Ren to accept.

Ren goes to Brock and takes Boulder Badge.
"Thanks. I wanted to ask you how do you manage fighting trainer when they use type advantage pokemon."

Luna would mentally prepare for the attack that was about to happen to her before flinching at JC's outburst. Hearing she had another pokémon made her smile a bit. She wondered why she didn't use it before. Was her pokémon more like Manny? All her answers would soon be answered as a huge Charizard was summoned and instantly began beating down on the Noctowl. It almost seemed like Pachu, except that it seemed to beat the pokémon even after it fainted. This pokémon was terrifying, and in a different way than those two weird pokémon. Luna backed away a bit as the Charizard continued its rage before looking at JC.

"Was...it always like that...?" She said in a whisper over to her companion.

"Well, I sort of stand for the first gym battle alot of trainers face," Brock said, "So it helps them with learning more basics of type match ups. If I was using my more advanced team, I'd be using Rock Pokemon with duel typing that would help make up for the weaknesses of the Rock type Pokemon."

JC watched almost helpless as she watched the Charizard lose control as it began to beat down on the Noctowl. Her knees wanted to buckle beneath her as, truth was there was a bit of fear, more so as it brought back a memory. She barely noticed Luna's words as she couldn't bring herself to look over to her.

"...later," Was all she could say before looking up to her Pokemon.

"Ok Dragon, that's enough," JC said trying to mask the worry and fear in her voice. But the large fire lizard ignored the Pokemon as the Rocket was trying to find a way to recall his noctowl but was having a bit of trouble. The other Rocket realized it was best to go on the offensive.

"Sandshrew, Shadow Blitz now!" The Rocket called as the Sandshrew did as it was cloaked in that shadow energy again before slamming into Charizard. Charizard did feel the attack as it let out a grunt of, well it was hard to tell if it was pain or annoyance. Nonetheless, the Charizard his tosses the Noctowl aside, the trainer promptly returning it, and hitting the Sandshrew with a wing attack. This sent the ground mole flying before hitting a rock.

"Come on, hit 'em again," The Rocket said as the Sandshrew gets up and executes the move again. This time the Charizard was even more mad as it slashes at the Pokemon before picking him up and blasting him with his flamethrower. Causing the Pokemon to faint. It's trainer took no chance that the Charizard would start beating it as well so he recalled his Pokemon.

"We gotta get out of here," Said one with a bit of a panick as the Charizard was letting out a roar in anger, the Rocket's using this to retreat into the darkness of the cave.

Charizard just looks at the spot they had disappeared almost fuming as it seemed at the spot. JC took no chances as she quickly recalled him... then proceeded to collapse to her knees.

"Oh, ok, thanks again and goodbye." Ren walks from room.

Brocks nods as he walks back to his spot.

Back in the reception area, Kaylie seemed to be talking to the Receptionist about something before she spotted Ren leaving the gym area.

"So, you win or what?" Kaylie asked him.

Luna watched as Charizard completely wiped the floor with the two grunts's pokémon. She had never seen a pokémon so aggressive. Beating an already fainted pokémon was definitely something new. She watched as the grunts ran off before turning to JC as she brought back her pokémon.

"H-Hey, are you okay?" She quickly squatted down next to JC and sat Manny on the ground as both Luna and Manny tried to reassure the her.

He looked over at her as Tess jumped off his shoulders and landed on Altaria's shoulders. Tess put her hand around Altaria's neck on order to hold on.

Drew let out a curse as he tried to get her back. Tess's eyes glowed as she flung Drew into a near by tree. "Sorry about this." He said

JC just stared at the ground as her tears began to build in her eyes, "...I... I hate seeing him like this," she cried possibly to herself, "B-Before he evolved, he was fine... then, afterwards... I don't know what happened, but he seems so angery all the time, not himself I... I had to take him away from my family... not just because I wanted to take on the gyms but... it was safer that way...."

The memory flashed before JC's eyes in horrific fragments. Her tears built up as she remembered yet that sorrow was quick to turn to anger as she slammed her fist into the ground.

"I.. I was such a coward... I've BEEN a coward... But... Dragon he...." She just broke off as she broke down again.

Altaira was actually surprised by the sudden movement of the Raltz movement then flinging Drew to a tree.

"I uh... hi?" Altaira said confused about what Tess was doing.
