Esme grew up in the slums of Celadon city, her mother a struggling artist and her father, a soldier and seaman, had been 'lost at sea' before she'd actually met him. Growing up in a household of six other children, everyone had a different dream - the littlest wanted to be a baker, while Esme's oldest brother pursued medicine; her sister went into office work, and she even lost one sibling to the ways of criminal gangs growing up. Esme herself, simply wanted to take the safest route, and so she enrolled in Viridian's trainer's academy, where she stayed until early graduation at 17. She did abroad studies, both in Kalos and Alola's trainers schools, before returning home to finish her studies; during her time away, she did trainer's assignments, traveling, and even learned some native phrases. Now, at seventeen, she has had it recommended to her to challenge the local gyms, and see if that's the path she would like to take. She has been a trainer since the age of eleven, but everything's been more academic and controlled by the schools; she has not experienced a proper gym battle, only observed, however she has been in countless battles against other students and classmates, and has been a regular top player. Now, however, she needs to experience life outdoors.

Additional Information: Class assignment, year three: Fishing at the Safari Zone field trip. Magikarps, goldeen, the occasional poliwag - nothing exceptional, for a good two hours of fishing hardly a creature was biting. And then, it happened. Esme felt her rod jerk once, twice, three times -- she had nearly fallen asleep, but suddenly came to -- she fought with the rod, even being dragged into the water against her will -- the struggle lasted for a good ten minutes, before she yanked the little blue serpent out of the water, right into a little pile of food for the animals she'd been given. It was her moment. She threw her first capsule, and armful waiting to be utilized -- the serpent smacked it away, and kept eating. Esme went through twelve pokeballs and a lot of water guns, before the last one finally clicked and the dragon was captured. Her teacher docked points, because Esme literally just threw capsules until the dragon gave up -- but she still got to keep it.

Backstory; Bear didn’t have a good relationship with her mother, she was always the mistreated one out of her and her brother Riko, her father would be to busy healing Pokémon, one day He brought Riko with him. Sadly a fire Pokémon blew up the Pokémon centre and they both died.
Now she’s stuck with her mother, her mother was also accused of murdering her son and husband so she blamed it on Bear (Alex) and now she is wanted in most parts of all regions ( which is where she hides herself as Bear) btw her mother didn’t let her get a Pokémon until 14 and Bear was the last one to get her Pokémon.

Backstory:
Growing up in the Unova region, she was always meant to follow in her father's footsteps. A trainer by heart, her father would always bring her along when she was growing up, trying to train her in the art. But she always wanted to help the Pokemon heal, not make them fight. Her parent's ran a Pokemon ranch, and was always fond of the bond building aspect more then the fighting. Her parent's gifted her with an Eevee, caring for her and loving her enough that she eventually evolved into a Sylveon. But the ranch went under, and they had to move, leaving behind most other Pokemon. Sylveon was the only one Bethany was able to keep. They ended up at Palette Town, and she figured she would try to join a group of trainers as a medic.

Competition type: Pokemon Battling (through Gyms). Hopes to one day become a Pokémon Nurse, and has been studying various usages of Pokémon medicine in order to become one eventually.

Backstory: She has not exactly started as a Pokemon Trainer, although eventually wants to become a Pokemon Nurse like her mother and has been studying medicine and how to treat pokemon. She graduated from a Pokémon School quite a years before becoming a Pokémon Trainer, implying she has latent talent. At Twelve , due to her habits of worrying too much, she ended up staying too late and ended up missing the opportunity to get a starter pokemon. However, she didn't realize how lucky she would get.

One day, she stumbled across an Mimikyu when practicing some Nursing skills on Pokémon from the Pokémon Center in Alola. The two shared a special connection that was honestly unrivaled. When she asked if it was okay to become it's first trainer by the Nurse, she was confirmed since it had no trainer and the two set sail together.

However, in addition to this, her father allowed her to keep their Uncle's Snorlax given to him many years prior to take care of [who left to go on an multi-regional adventure long before she was born... Hopefully into the RP she runs into him] for her journey as a memento of sorts to make up for at least not being able to see the starter pokemon. She has had a strong bond with this pokemon for years, so to be able to travel with it was something she truly loved more than anything.

Before she left, her father told her to wait. He said her Uncle planned to gave her a special present. All he said was "Your Uncle has a bracelet from Galar. It allows you to do something amazing with Snorlax. But, you have to find your Uncle first, and he told me you have to beat him in a Pokémon Battle to gain your prize . He said he was in Unova last time I checked, and if he defeated all the Gyms he would be waiting for you in the Victory Road, so make sure to do that before making your way to Victory Road. " . With that, she specifically started her adventure, but had to get money from her family to travel to Unova . She helped care for the Pokemon in the wild, eventually making friends of several wild pokemon, but always had more courage being with Pokemon than she did with actual people.

Ever since then, she has had two years of Pokemon experience, training Snorlax while also helping out and healing Pokemon. While she still disliked fighting, she wanted to make her father and mother proud on her end, and find her Uncle which was why she was willing to work as hard as she is. Before heading to the current region , she is doing rather well in the Gym Battles , actually managing to qualify for the League in the Unova Region, and headed to the Victory Road. To her shock, he wasn't there, and was told by her father he unfortunately has been left for anothe region. So, due to having to leave due to trying to follow the Uncle who left her so many years ago . Where her journey will take her next is entirely up to the imagination) .

My eventual goal is to have Summer meet her Uncle in Unova, confront him in it's Victory Road , and perhaps defeat him depending on how much experience at battling she has had between now and when the group goes to Unova)

3, I'm sorry but Forgot about those dynamax bands and honestly, for now I don't want anyone to have one yet. Dunno when. But if you want it to be a gift from her father then you can maybe have her uncle give it to her later in the RP... I'll let you know when.
