Fandom Pokemon Hybrid Safehouse

Having managed to find the very back of the castle, Devon decided that he would take the only bedroom in the short hallway that was otherwise only taken up by the (GIGANTIC!!) library. The room was spacious with a queen-sized bed in one corner, a tv (with a built-in DVD player) set up across from it (on top of what appeared to be a cherry wood dresser, drawers opened slightly to reveal several gaming systems in the bottom one, a variety of games in the middle, and a whole whack of DVDs in the top) and a large balcony with glass doors between them. To the far right of the tv were two doors, the first being a walk-in closet and the other being an en-suite bathroom. If this place only had a fridge or something, he'd never have to leave and make contact with the other (terrifying) residents of the castle...

Cevelt finally made it to the island from the letter. He unwillingly had one of the very few people to read it to him, and decided to go. Landing on the sandy beach, Cevelt allowed himself a small smile as he sighed, tired from the journey. Letting out a quick sound too high for any others to hear, he listened as the soundwaves bounced off of the surfaces and he mapped out the surroundings in his mind. Walking to the large building, he almost silently let a hum, and found the door. Grabbing the doorknob gently with his hand, Cevelt slowly walked into the building humming quietly, ears alert for any sound or indication of life in the room.

Scintilla still wanted to explore, but she didn't want anyone to steal her room. So she found a pencil and a piece of paper in one of the drawers, scrawled TAKEN on it, found some scotch tape, and as she walked out of the room, she stuck her sign on the door. She went back downstairs and saw another person there. She hid behind a wall and peeked at the boy, wondering if it was safe to approach.

Luna got up, deciding to explore. She picked up her crown, placing it around her ponytail. She sighed a bit, her aura seeming to glow as she walked towards the door. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see that there was someone on the other side. 'Oh, um, hello." She said.

Cevelt heard the footsteps coming closer, but deciding against speaking up, as the person had stopped and moved backwards, he paused before walking through a door, leading to a room that the bat realised was like a common room, a living room. It had a few couches, a television up against the wall, and a table-like structure. Cevelt walked carefully, making sure not to run into or trip over anything and he sat down on one of the couches, wondering on what his life would be like now with apparently other hybrids.

Cevelt looked in the direction of the voice, "Hello.." His words were quiet, not exactly knowing what to say. He could tell the person was a girl, simply because her voice. He wanted to introduce himself, but felt awkward, deciding to, he nodded very slight as he spoke, "I'm Cevelt, might I ask who you are?" Internally growling at himself, he felt like a fool, to ask like he did.

(Sorry! I wasn't getting notifications until now....anyone who is communicating with me, please tag me? >.< It's the only way my note system works. ;. ;)
(I don't even know where to start. O.o )

(@ Basically everyone - Why are your characters so cute? >.<)

Luna blinked. "My name is Luna." She said. She looked at his shaggy hair covering his eyes and his wings. She smiled. "I am Jirachi, but I prefer Luna." She said. "May I ask why you are in front of my room, not that I am mad at you."

Glacia wandered the halls, eyes skimming over the vacant rooms. She poked her head into one. It was fairly simple, furbished with all necessities if not more. She tapped at a drawer, testing its material, accidentally freezing it a bit on the corner. She pulled back in surprise, but calmed herself down. She walked over to the bed and sat, also testing its material. After looking about the room, she created an ice Articuno sculpture and froze it into another level, making sure it was now made to not melt for the next two hours. She placed it on the nightstand near the bed before walking out, keen on finding a library.

After having sufficiently claimed the room as his own (obtaining a piece of paper, a black permanent marker and some tape to tape his name to the door), Devon decided he might as well see what the library across the hall had to offer. He grinned darkly at the thought of possibly finding some Stephen King to give him a better kind of fright than social situations did. He probably wouldn't be getting a wink of sleep if he started reading horror (partially due to fear, but mostly because he tended to get absorbed in the stories themselves) but it wasn't like he had any pressing engagements or anything happening in the morning.

Cevelt lowered his head slightly, "I'm sorry Luna, I was just walking and familiarizing myself with this building." He nodded to the voice, "And Jirachi? Isn't that legendary? Well, I'm Zubat.." The last sentence was slightly quieter, but still audible. His wings twitched and the small hum continued to tell him nothing had really changed except the slight movement of the other hybrid.

((Sorry, I had to eat supper..)

Glacia was surprised by how grand the entire library was. It excited her, actually, as she loved books much more than almost anything life had to offer her. She quickly made her way towards a shelf, her fingertips brushing lightly against the spines of the books as she searched for some fiction. She longed for something 'out-of-this-world' since she hadn't been able to experience anything like that lately. She had made her way towards the near back of the library when she finally picked out a book. She waltzed over to an empty table, settled down and started to read.

Luna smiled. "It's ok. I feel the same. Though everywhere I go, everything is bright." She said. "My aura kind of makes things brighter. So does my crown." She said, her crown jingling.

Scintilla watched the two talk. She continued to peek at them from her spot at the staircase, trying to decide if she wanted to step into their conversation or not. Deciding against it, she went back up the staircase quietly in search of something to do.

Cevelt nodded, the least he could do was appear that he understood. He knew the basic concept, but didn't fully know what it was like. "Thats an interesting ability. Was it always that way for you?"

((It seems that I'll be on and off for a while... So I'm going to apologise ahead for all my late answers..))

As soon as he'd heard the doors to the library open again, Devon hid in a little corner of the room, cut off from the rest of the library. Soon after, though, he was sitting comfortably in a conveniently placed armchair, curled up with a copy of Nightmares and Dreamscapes, losing himself in the works of a true master of horror.

Cevelt listened to the jingling and 'looked' down the hallway. "Well it was very nice to meet you Luna, but I might want to explore a bit more. Of course you're welcome to join me of you wish." He smiled softly, though it was light. He gestured down to hallway and nodded slightly, taking a step backwards and feeling his wings lightly brush against the wall.

Luna smiled. 'I would love that." She said, her smile seeming to shine as she stepped out into the hallway, shutting the door. She smiled. "Let's go!" She said.

Cevelt smiled at her answer and took step beside her. "Let us indeed." He felt guilty for not telling her he was blind, but she probably would've asked if she noticed. Being as quiet as possible, Cevelt hummed to observe, but he tried to hide it from Luna, trying to not raise questions.

Scintilla was practically just running around the place, examining all its features. In the end, she went back to the first floor and saw the boy and the girl with the shiny crown talking. Still talking. She yawned.
