The timeline
Year 1- The beginning of Kanto's history. Starting with the building of the Mt.Silver fortress and the first people to give up the nomadic lifestyle and build a civilization.
Year 19- a disagreement between two social leaders results in the splitting of the populous. A dangerous civil war breaks out before the first pokemon Tamer caused them to split. Half of Them went to Johto and the other half to Kanto.
Year 20- Veridian city becomes the first settlement of Kanto. People begin to live alongside pokemon and train them for battle.
Year 27- Pallet town is set up as a fishing and dock settlement, expeditions to cinnabar are launched. Pewter city becomes the next large city settlement.
Year 39- Cinnibar island is finally reached turns out Gyrados gather between pallet and cinnabar causing the seas to be very dangerous.
Year 41- new islands are discovered near cinnabar. Exploreres are sent but never return.
Year 54- After many years of carving out tunnels within mt.moon pewter city explorers finally found cerulean city. Treacherous routes back make them have to explore in the other directions rather than try and navigate back through the mountain.
Year 66- Explorers from Cerulean city manage to make their way to a peaceful little nook which they call lavender town. Explorers from cinnabar finally go beyond the seafoam islands and found fuchia city.
Year 79- Lavender town explorers found Vermilion city, while fuchia city explorers attempt to carve a long road to pewter city, however mountains block their path and so the other end of the road becomes a town called Celadon.
Year 93- Lavender, Fuchia, Vermilion, and Celadon city all send explorers who form Saffron city. Saffron is named the capital of Kanto.
Year 101- The pokemon knights are founded as growing tension between settlers from kanto and Johto builds. They form the governing body of Kanto and place bases arounf the indigo plateu.
Year 111- the pokemon Knights complete the building of the Routes connecting all of kanto.
Year 176- A massive invasion of forces from Johto catch the pokemon knights by surprise. However after a grueling battle to push into the indigo plateau the pokemon knights manage to turn the massive invading force back. Thus dubbing the land leading to The plateau as "Victory road."
Year 201- The pokemon knights Loose pallet town and the Indigo plateau to Johto's armies. A defensive line is set in Veridian city.
Year 207- the Veridian line falls Knights flee into the woods. The decision to evacuate pewter city is made. Johto begins building naval forces in pallet town.
Year 211- Johto looses more than half their forces as their fleet sinks in the waterway leading to Cinnabar, and their army is turned back at the summit of mt.moon.
Year 215- a knight who fled to veridian forest returns with immense power between him and his charizard. Using this power he reclaims veridian city alone splitting the forces of johto in half.
Year 220- with mt.moon locked down and veridian being held by the Flaming Veridian Knight, kanto musters an army in Cinnabar and sails north to take pallet back.
Year 222- pallet town is reclaimed forcing the johto army to surrender as they are surrounded in Pewter city. The knights escort them back and a treaty is signed for 200 years of peace.
Year 422- the Treaty ends the knights numbers stay small but all knights are trained in synchronicity. Johto returns with an army that is well trained, well equipped, and more than five times the size of their initial army.
Year 494- for seventy three years the pokemon knights and the Johto forces fight back and fourth across mt.silver. however eventually this war is ended by what is known as the empowering. The pokemon on the mountain became hostile to both sides, and their power forced the two sides to seperate.
Year 504- ten years after the empowering the Knights mourn the loss of the Grand knight Gentry Absalom. The year of blood begins as The new Grand knight Baldur hunts down those loyal to Absalom's way of things.
Year 507- present day, Tidus Absalom returns from veridian forest with a new version of synchronicity. Our story begins.

Here in kanto all of civilized history is recorded , granted there isnt much to record. The loss of their roots in the fprm of mt.silver being cut off from them is a wound that is still felt in the Kanto culture today. Many long to go to mount silver. Thirteen years ago Johto and Kanto were seperated. Three years ago marked the start of the Dark days. The pokemon knights who once protected Kanto now roam around like thugs taking what they want and crushing all in their way. The power of synchronicity is viewed as sacred and most dont think they have a chance to oppose them without it. Hense why the return of Tidus Absalom has brought with it such hope. Rather than money kanto people operate off of a barter and trade system. Farms are popular, as is working as a Guard to the caravans that go between cities. The population of Kanto is currently sitting at around 90,000 people total.
