Sana ◇ Sutcliffe

◇ To Shift

Name: Sana Sutcliffe
Gender: Female
Home Region: Sinnoh

G E N G A R

Height: 5'1" | 155cm
Weight: 97lbs | 44kg
Body Build: Ectomorph

APPEARANCE

Despite her short stature and small build, Sana maintains a level of fierce authority. She stands tall and proud, chin high and shoulders back, and she walks with purpose in her every step. Her cool expression is rarely broken. As a human, her skin and hair were pale as the snow and remained free from freckles or scars. As a newly created M3, she is paler still with a violet tint, but her short hair turned the color of the darkest shadow and surrounded her new pointed ears that sat at the top of her head. Her eyes became forever bloodshot, and her once golden irises darkened to black.
And Change◇

Biography

She remembered a white room. She remembered a fire. She remembered screaming and shouting and crying all around her. And then she remembered snow.

The people who raided the lab must have lost her on the way to wherever. Or maybe they simply tossed her aside? No matter. All she was told, all that she is ever told every anniversary, was that a kind couple on a mission trip found her in the sand not far from Phenac City and decided to bring her to their home in Snowpoint City, Sinnoh. She was a gift from the mighty Arceus on high, they said, a great miracle! Sana never believed a word of it. They treated her well enough, she supposed; they fed her, clothed her, enrolled her in school, took her to church. And yet she remained a quiet and distant child who hardly ever spoke and preferred small corners of her room to the snowy fields of her town. Were it not for the nightmares of a white room on fire that visited her dreams every week, her adoptive parents would hardly know their child's voice. Then there was her condition...

Sana was not the brightest mind, and she had a habit of playing tricks on her classmates. When she started growing sicker by the day, no more excuses were made and she was finally pulled out of school. It was a disease unlike anything any doctor in Sinnoh had ever seen. Her sanity faded with every bout and she grew outright terrified of the dark. Her blood turned toxic and would leak like tears from her eyes during the worst episodes. Solace came only in the meager amount of sleep she could manage, and then in the form of a newspaper ad.

A man by the name of Professor Reid was searching for subjects for a drug trial. Odd, indeed, to see such an advertisement in the newspaper rather than a medical journal of some sort, but odder still were the symptoms Reid required: All the usual such as fever, nausea, weakness, and then listed were blood poisoning, nightmares, intense fear of certain elements. How perfect the trial seemed for Sana Sutcliffe, and how handsome the compensation was, too. Her parents hesitated only at the thought of travelling back to the chaos of the Orre Region, but their miracle child was out of options. Orre, or die.

Orre it was.

Personality

Sullen Sana lived up to her nickname. Quiet and withdrawn, sick or healthy, she rarely ever talked to her peers. She much preferred small pranks and tricks to words. Sana would leave chewed gum on the tops of chairs, glue book pages together, shift furniture a little ways in one direction, anything to cause confusion and disarray. Despite her success at trickery, Sana performed it all with that same cool, bored expression on her face, rarely even smirking at the chaos she caused. It never felt enough for her. She yearned for something more--more power, more tricks, more cruelty in her tricks, more anything--but with her condition worsening every day, she was never able to achieve anything at all.

Sana grew resentful. For the first time since she could remember, she felt something other than boredom or meager satisfaction. She hated her life. She hated her parents for saving her, she hated her body for betraying her, she hated her peers for being so happy all the time. While her mind lost stability with every bout of her sickness, her emotions intensified. How she hated the world, how she wished to destroy it and everyone in it for no other reason than her own desire to watch something so grand fall to pieces! And then there would be only her. Only Sana. Only one person left alone in a broken world, a new world, a world ripe for the taking to mold as she wished.

POKEMON HYBRID: Zebstrika

PICTURE 2:

Personality
Zev is very independent and strict. He likes to keep to the rules and follow a straight path. But the drawback to this trait of his is that he isn't very good at coping with change, and has no interest in those who run a chaotic path. Those who have no set goals and destinations, and who do things on impulse. People like that annoy him. "Call be a straight arrow, so be it, but at least I have a set destination, and am not veering off the path." He is very business like in his own way, if he knows how to do it, he'l be happy to help, even if he's not smiling to show it(he never smiles). He takes interest in politics, and doesn't mind his own abilities. He is a vegetarian though, he never was a fan of eating meat, and definitely isn't now. after all, he is essentially part horse.

He knows right from wrong, just like any other, but after chatting with him for a bit, it can be found that if you give him enough of a logical explanation for the action of event, it is easy enough to flip his ideals. At times he can even be hypocritical- he hates it when people act on impulse, and yet on occasion he does too. He has a clear sight, and lock on his goals, but due to his straight-arrow attitude, he often misses the (important) things around him, and loses the capacity to read the air, or care much about others.

History

He doesn't remember much of what happened during the raid on Orre lab, but, after he grew up, he chose to go back, there was no reason for it. When he was younger, after the raid, he was tossed out. At the time he seemed weak and useless, so he was discarded. But from there he was found by accident, and put into a strict orphanage. Growing up in this environment, he became attached to a strict schedule and an orderly lifestyle. He loved the simplicity of it and of living there at the orphanage, and then the strict christian boys school. There, everything there was scheduled out and everything was the same, and predictable every day. He liked that. Once he reached a mature age he headed out on his own. He worked a few jobs until he found one that he was capable of doing, and good at, which allowed him to have a strict schedule, and live a planned life. But one day, now in his 20's, he heard something about a lab of some kind, and a drug trial of sorts? the name rung a bell, but he couldn't quite place it due to how young he had been at the time. So he headed out to take a look.

REZA LAWRENCE
Staraptor Gijinka

HNI_0025.jpg

HNI_0024.jpg

FULL NAME Reza "Flash Cannon" Lawrence
GENDER Female
AGE 21 years old
POKÉMON HYBRID Staraptor
APPEARANCE Personal care is very important to Reza, so she will seize the opportunity to preen herself in any nearby mirror. Although she wouldn't dare step foot into a salon, her hair, nails, and skin are kept in pristine condition. Her hair is kept short and functional, which she enjoys styling herself. Her eyes are silver in color. Her wings, of course, will mimic a Staraptor's, but almost triple the size, mounted on her shoulder blades. They tuck neatly against her back and over her arms.
BODY TYPE Ectomorph, but years of training and the eventual growth of her wings will have broadened her shoulders and strengthened her core. She stands at an average 5'6" and 128 pounds, with her 20-foot wingspan adding another 30 lbs. each.
PERSONALITY Reza, even as a Flying type hybrid, keeps herself grounded with a keen, reflective mind. She is a pragmatist with little patience for idealism and indecisiveness. She maps out every benefit and consequence of her actions, and she rarely forgets a bet or a grudge. In fact, she has quite an impressive memory and sense of direction, and is wholly trusting of her own intuition. She works well with others if she deems their presence useful or they are aligned with her own beliefs. However, she finds herself unable to establish strong emotional connections with others, due to her brusque manner of speaking; it is difficult for her to express empathy or humility, so she often comes across as selfish and conceited. She is ambitious, but her strong moral standing takes precedence over her hunger for power; she is not easily intimidated. Above all else, Reza values her freedom to act and speak for herself, and she will go to desperate lengths to ensure she remains free.
HOME REGION Orre
HISTORY Reza has no memory of the lab or the fire. She only has vague recollections of the time she was able to escape from her captors -- thugs who wished to pawn her off to the highest bidder on the black market. She ran all night, convinced they would catch up to her malnourished form. However, the traffickers, former Cipher peons, were convinced that she would not survive in the desert and made no move to track her down. She reached Pyrite Town by morning.

As a young girl with no resources and wary of the authorities, she quickly learned that she couldn't survive on begging by herself. She took advantage of the many robberies in Pyrite, going through the discarded wallets and bags. Petty theives would steal items and money from, but wouldn't know better than to leave the far more valuable Trainer Cards behind.

Ten years passed and she is now the most feared and respected gang leader in The Under, her legion of thieves, killers, and scoundrels all swearing allegiance only to her. Taking control of the Colosseum and the railway, Flash Cannon Lawrence is a force to be reckoned with, but she vows to restore order after the chaos of Lady Venus' disappearance.

Pyrite, however, wasn't so fortunate. After Bane started using the town as their headquarters, fear and havoc grew as ruthless scoundrels roamed the streets as they pleased. Reza, outraged at the havoc Bane had created, began recruiting in secret, building her forces of loyal soldiers who would one day aid in the revolt against Bane.

When she recieved word of the drug trials, which described perfectly the symptoms she experienced since a young age, she signed up immediately. Entrusting her duties to her right-hand-man, Cale, she travelled to the lab, convinced she would be forever rid of her sensitivity to cold temperatures and debilitating fear of thunderstorms and rockslides -- images that haunted her nightmares. She would be without weaknesses, able to keep herself the guiding light of the The Under without adversity.
OTHER Reza recieved the nickname "Flash Cannon" for multiple reasons. One, it could refer to her fighting style -- her untouchable defense coupled with her unpredictable and explosive offense. It could also refer to her overnight rise to power, a dark horse who took The Under by storm. Despite the fact she made headlines across Orre, she has hidden her faace from public view, instructing Cale to act as the face of her new regime.

Reza also loves sweets.

Basics
Full Name: Amaya Kouriyo
Gender: Female
Home Region: She was born in Hoenn, but she's lived practically her entire life in Orre. Take this however it's needed to be.
Shiinotic Hybrid
Body Shape: A balanced hybrid of mesomorph and ectomorph, but leans towards the latter.

Appearance
1523675817452.png
Something like this but a tad older-looking. Or maybe it's just her smallness peeking through.
1523675490476.png
Amaya doesn't stand all that tall, being only five foot two (157 cm), the growth that didn't go to height mostly heading for width instead. Sure, she didn't get too much outward growth, but she's still enough to be at least called 'big boned' rather than merely average weight. At some times she walks carefree, other times she seems to know exactly where she's stepping, and the shift between the two usually ties to whether she's in human form or her M3 form. More often than not, being her M3 form seems to have her be more focused on how she's standing than otherwise. Probably some sort of chemical imbalance in her body. The most notable thing about her M3 form is the almost hat-like protrusion on her head, which absorbs water much like a sponge would. It also glows if she wills it hard enough.

Personality
During the day, it's easy to consider Amaya as someone who seems tired, but not in a bad way. Serene, almost. She's a very go with the flow type of person, which has some sort of irony to it given her status as someone who would prefer to sit in one place at the same time. Is she perfect? Not even. She's an underachiever, but in a fairly active sort of manner. She's fairly smart, but a heavy weight of modesty on her means that she sometimes doesn't perform as well as people would expect her to. Even though she says she'll improve, she doesn't usually try to. All she focuses on is survival, and nothing more.

If she's ever awake during the night as Shiinotic usually tend to be, the serene underachiever seems to vanish and gets replaced by something else. How she acts in the day is merely a façade to hide how truly cunning she can be if the time calls for it. Of course, she also tends to be crabby during this time as well, given how the human part of her wants to sleep during this time and can't keep her awake all the time. She pretty much has to use dusk and dawn to sleep instead of night or day if she aims to be awake during both, but she could definitely sleep all of the day away if she wants to.

History
Amaya can still feel the raw energy of fear she felt from the flames that day, as they never left her mind.

Given her status as a grass-type M3, the fear from the building being raided never really left her, even after she was taken and brought to Pyrite Town by some of the people involved, before they were caught. But not her. She was left for what was basically whatever came by next to take her for good. But they never came. People came and left around her, but never was she permanently taken in as an official child to an actual family. The various people in and out were at least able to help her until the point she was able to sustain herself relatively well. And to her, relatively well meant 'not dying', even if it was a struggle. Especially with reading and understanding words, which she could just barely do due to a lack of proper education outside of what others taught her.

Of course, she wasn't alone the entire time. Just when she thought when she actually was going to be alone the entire time instead of having anything to be with at roughly 10 years old, someone gave her what was definitely a Pokémon egg, telling her to hold onto it for a bit, and then left. They never actually came back for it, so she kept it, and it eventually hatched into... Something that looked like the sun. Neat! Now she had a friend to be with. She was going to name it Solar, but she forgot how to spell it in the moment, so now it's Solaire.

As she continued to grow older, she felt less and less at home in the town. Things were too hot and warm for her, but she didn't want to be extremely cold, either. And not only that, but any sort of illness made her feel absolutely terrible until it wore off. And just when she thought things weren't able to get worse, she felt like one got her... and just didn't let go. She had to pester pretty much everyone she could drag herself towards until she found someone who could at least keep her in a place that wasn't what felt like an incinerator or a freezer. Not a doctor's place, but at least she had something better to lay down on than the ground.

She had to spend what felt like years in this situation, but in reality, it was only a handful of weeks. The thing that started her journey towards betterdom was a simple message in the mail... Which was strange, seeing as she hadn't actually had any sort of mailbox assigned to her and such. The person kind enough to let her stay had said it described her well. Especially the symptoms she had been showing, and it was apparently a generic mail despite how specifically it matched up to her... Regardless, she figures she may as well go see this "Reid" person the letter mentioned. If it'll get her to feel less like a pile of trash, she'll take it.

If Trainer
- Given how she has not left Orre since the raid, she lacks gym badges and Z-Crystals.
- Her sole Pokémon is, somewhat ironically given what she is and what her partner stands for, a Solrock named Solaire. Level 30, with the moves Rock Slide/Psychic/Fire Spin/Pain Split. Levitate for its ability.

Rhody ◇ Bolton

◇ To Follow

Name: Rhody Bolton
Gender: Female
Home Region: Orre

L Y C A N R O C

Height: 5'6" | 165cm
Weight: 121lbs | 55kg
Body Build: Mesomorph

APPEARANCE

An average height is about the only normal thing about her, much to Rhody's chagrin. Growing up in the streets of Pyrite Town have left her famished, but strong; lean muscle coats her bones while her body devours any bit of fat it can find. Her hair, which she typically keeps hidden under a hat or a hood, is long and as coarse as concrete. Scars of every size and shape litter her skin from head to toe. She prefers to walk with a hunch, her shoulders slumped, brown eyes downcast, a habit of most Pyrite street rats as an effort to keep trouble away. After the transformation to an M3, her hair lightened to shades of brown and gray and flare out about her neck like a mane. The ears of a Midday Lycanroc sit atop her head, while a long tail protrudes from the base of her spine. Her nails turned slate grey and are hard as stone.
And Lead ◇

Biography

Rhody spent her early years in a Pyrite Town orphanage, where she learned how to cook, clean, sew, and serve since the very day she could walk. She was quite the handy girl, the best in the orphanage, and proud of it until her skills caught the attention of a few black market traffickers. At the age of four, she was sold to a portly, aged man who ranked high in a growing gang known as the Brass Spiders. They were no Bane, but successful enough to see their man wealthy and well-cared for. He was a kind man in the beginning, always luring her in with promises of sweets and a hot bath and fresh clothes, but alcohol made him a demanding, cruel master, and she ran. He found her less than a day later and gave young Rhody the first of her many scars as punishment. The years passed and Rhody grew sicker with every day. She refused to bathe, refused to go anywhere near water and could only munch on ice cubes to keep herself hydrated. Debilitating thoughts of man-eating plants plagued her mind every time she caught sight of a single leaf. Everyone around her thought she was mad, crazy as the worst of them, and finally, she was kicked out on the streets.

The slum of Pyrite Town, The Under, became her savior. The poorest of people gathered there and shared what they could and looked after one another. Rhody learned how to bathe herself with oil, how to read and write simple words, how to fend for herself and endure the horrid bouts of her condition. She gained a friend, too, for a time. Together, they became near masters of thievery and kept each other alive through whatever means. Those days were good, bearable, but Rhody always envisioned them both stealing away on a boat to leave this region far behind. However, her friend had other ideas. Enraged at the other's more criminal choices, Rhody left The Under for good for smog-choked air of the topside. She keeps to herself now on the outskirts of town, always laying low and scavenging for enough money to get the hell out. Her prayers were answered in the form of a flyer. With such a rudimentary education, she couldn't make out much more than a location and a dollar sign with plenty of zeroes behind it, but that was good enough for her.

Personality

Rhody is street rat, the lowest of the low. She serves neither gang nor master, and while such a status comes with a sort-of freedom, it also promises plenty of hardship. She is all rough edges, from her looks to her words, and that won't change anytime soon. She prefers to stick to the shadows and stay out of sight, out of mind, which is the only way to make it out alive as a rat in Pyrite Town, Orre. Although a thief herself, Rhody wants nothing to do with any sort of gang or criminal activity, as she believes that is a sure-fire way to get oneself killed or tortured.

Regarding Pokemon, Rhody has has never had much interest. She can hardly keep herself alive, much less another living thing, though she has been known to make exceptions with children, such as with Jonah and Noelle. While she does try to keep herself as closed off as possible, Rhody has a soft heart beneath her stony exterior. She often dreams of having close friends and a happy family, which make her willing to listen to other people's problems or concerns. But she remains heavily guarded, always distrustful of others and their motives.

name... Nakamura Chinatsu
age... 21
gender... Female
home region... Kanto
hybrid... Ninetails
appearance...
Chinatsu has a tall and slim frame that seems to glide across whatever floor she walks across. Her shoulders back and head held high, she almost exudes an aura of calm and gentleness that follows her wherever she goes. While human she had dark blonde hair that bordered on light brown with hazel eyes with glasses that covered them, giving her an older and more mature look. Once changed however, her hair took on a more lighter and brighter tone, giving it a more tan appearance with a hint of yellow while still remaining to fall to her lower back with a new set of ears of the same color of her hair resting on top of her head. Her eyes changed to a warm yet fiery red hue. Her clothing style hasn't really changed, other than the fact that she now has to accommodate around her tails. Having ran at a warmer temperature than normal her whole life, Chinatsu tended to stick to loose t-shirts and tight tank tops along with shorts that stopped around midthigh.
❀
personality...
Chinatsu is, in a few words, the caring older sister or mother hen type. She finds and takes in those that need her help or have no one else to love them, and basically takes care of them. She gives them a maternal figure and does her best to make sure that they make good choices so they can have a better life in the future, even if the life they have so far hasn't been the best. She's a firm believer of making your own destiny, and fully encourages those that she looks after to believe the same because then they can do anything.

In general, Chinatsu is a very kind and caring individual whose main goal in life is to help provide and care for those who cannot care for themselves. She's loyal and dependent and enjoys playing games with those she close to. While this is all said and good, the main downside to this is that Chinatsu is so used to spending time with people younger than her, that she doesn't really know how to act her own age. She's still young but acts like a mother whose raised at least two kids. And while she does see the kids she helps as her own, she knows that their not. Basically, she's not always sure how to react in a situation with other people her age. She doesn't know how to have fun like others may, because she's so used to playing children's games. Due to this, she has plenty of patience, having dealt with a multitude of tantrums, she does have a limit and once reached, she does tend to explode.
❀
history...
Chinatsu doesn't remember much beyond the kind old woman that saved her life and raised her until she was nine years old and her strange fear of water. For as long as she could remember she hated rainy days and always did her best to avoid them by staying inside. They lived in Agate Village in a small hut with two rooms and a kitchen that also functioned as a living room. The young girl didn't mind, having already shown to be more of the quite and mature type. The two girls enjoyed their life together, even if it was short. The old woman had no family and therefor no one to teach the lessons she'd learned in life. So when she'd found the young girl just abandoned in the wilderness, she couldn't help but wrap her up in her shawl and take her home.

Through her, Chinatsu learned all she needed to survive and take care of others. It was as if fate had been on the two women, seeing as almost immediately after Chinatsu learned how to do everything on her own, her grandmother (which is basically what the old woman had become) had fallen ill. The young girl had done her best to take of the old woman and managed to keep her comfortable for three years before she passed, ignoring her own discomfort as she also began to feel small bouts of illness, telling the girl that she needed to go beyond this small town filled with elderly people and experience life for herself. Despite being only nine, the blonde was extremely mature for her age and took her words to heart. After making sure her grandmother had gotten a proper burial as best she could make one, Chinatsu gathered what little the two had owned and kept what seemed important and sold anything trivial.

With that done, the girl took off, finding herself on the outside of Pyrite Town, living on the streets. It didn't bother Chinatsu too much seeing as her grandmother and herself hadn't lived in the best of conditions, even though as she started to feel sick more and more. She took to staying close to the orphanage, lending them a helping hand in cooking and watching after the younger kids and them watching over her in return when she couldn't get up on some days. She quickly became the older sister to many of the kids and they tended to follow her around like little ducklings, taking care of her and her work when she was unable to as she continued to get worse. She and the few kind souls that helped out in the orphanage thought it was adorable and truly appreciated the mature little girl who quickly grew into a mature and caring young woman who spends all her time helping care for children in need. They only wished they could help her get over her illness in an effort to repay her, so when they heard about someone looking for people to test out a new drug, they brought the offer straight to her.

name... Shiba Kohaku
age... 20
gender... Male
home region... Sinnoh
hybrid... Luxray
appearance...
Kohaku is around average height with a more athletic build. He has messy raven hair that he never really bothers to mess with, letting it fly in every direction it falls and bright green eyes that sparkle with seeming unending energy. His hair falls to about just above his shoulders, framing his pale skin from being stuck inside so often, even though he tends to run outside often. Generally he'll have a few bandages stuck on his cheeks or arms due to him falling over himself and getting a few scrapes, but he enjoys it, hunching over to see something new and jumping right up into the air in excitement. After the change, his hair color remained the same, only it's length really changing as it grew just a bit longer before narrowing so that most of his hair stopped just beneath his shoulders and one long strand fell down to his waist with a yellow star at the bottom, keeping it all together while a new set of blue and yellow ears rested at the top of his head. His eyes changed to a more glowing amber shade and his skin finally began to tan ever so slightly, making him lose his almost sickly looking pale color. His clothing style hasn't changed, still preferring to wear t-shirts and jeans along with a thin jacket and boots.
ϟ
personality...
Kohaku is a bright and funny guy, enjoying to run around and have fun, spending time with others. He loves to laugh and is able to find humor in almost anything, believing that with a bit of laughter you can put a good spin on anything. He loves going out an adventuring, dragging friends along with him, never wanting to discover something without someone beside him, because where's the fun in that? However, due to his illness, he couldn't go out as much as he wished, being forced to stay inside and dream of exploring brand new places with new and interesting people.

Being stuck inside most of his life didn't stop Kohaku from living his life though. No, he's not the type to let something so small stop him from discovering something new and living his dream. He has a bit of a mischievous streak, sneaking out of the house and going out to do what he wants because he feels that he can't put his life on hold just to please his parents. He knows he has a good life, and while he wants to make others happy he won't sacrifice his happiness for them.

It's almost like he can't stop moving at times, always bouncing with energy to do something. Because of this at times he can be quite awkward and clumsy, tripping over himself either in his hurry to get somewhere or away from somewhere or in his own awkward babble as he tries to make an excuse for something he's done or said.
ϟ
history...
Kohaku doesn't really remember anything other than the terror of feeling trapped as if something was closing in around him before he suddenly felt safe and protected in the arms of the woman who would quickly become his mother. He'd been abandoned by the group of people who'd gotten them all out of the lab and forgotten by and underground passage. He'd been crying and screaming with everything he had when a young woman and her husband had found him, lured in by his cries, and took him back to their home in Phenac City.

There he grew up happily, spending as much of his time as possible out in fresh air and as far away from underground areas as much as possible. The rest of his time was spent with his adopted parents trying to keep a handle on his excitable and bouncy nature. He was sick often and while they were worried for their son, it was somewhat of a relief to have him stuck in bed, just so they could have a break from him running throughout the house and the city.

As time passed and Kohaku grew older and his times of illness got worse and worse, they began to worry more and more, no longer enjoying the small break they had from running after their son. They started looking for any possible way to help him get better. He'd been sick and stuck in the house for almost a week by the time they heard of the man looking for subjects to test their new drug on. They were hesitant to bring Kohaku to him, but as he continued to get worse and his symptoms matched what the man was looking for perfectly, they felt they had no other choice and brought him to test the drug.
