  Do you know this guy who always stays in the gym and gives people hints how to get it and potions? Loonie's father is one of those. She got in touch with Pokemon very early. But she never had an own one. Her father felt pitiful, therefore he asked his old friend, professor Mahagoni, to gift his daughter a Pokemon. Mahagoni agreed, so Loonie got into the program. But after a victory, he cheers loudly and never let's much get him down. Happy and light hearted, he still has a lot to learn, he is also a bit hyper.

Ryu was just an ordinary kid, with some big shoes to fill as his cousin was jasmine, the dragon gym leader of the johto region. Altho ryu was born in kalos, he frequently visited johto, and saw her kingdra evolve for the first time. The moment he got back he knew his goal.


After walking through the woods, he saw professor sycamore treating a wounded pokemon. Most people had walked away or not bothered helping. So ryu decided to go over and give a hand. Even though he had no idea what the pokemon was like, he helped all the same.


This in turn surprised the professor, after the pokemon was fully healed and went off. The professor decided to reward ryu with one of his three pokemon. Ryu chose froakie due to its water typing, now his journey begins

  Goal: To become a writer. A bit typical, I know- but roleplay is a great way of practising. I love Pokemon too, so.. why not?

I make up for it in heart, and strives to treat Pokemon as equals, and have an abundant supply of compassion and bravery for both humans and Pokemon. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm so eager to do so.

  I come from a family of Pokemon breeders, who wanted me to be as successful as them. They distanced themselves from the Pokemon in their business, in the hopes of making them stronger. I had trouble in following this rule, and my strict family eventually cast me out to have my own 'adventure' when I was old enough. I felt so lost and alone, but I found Turtwig soon enough. I judged him for being ugly at first, but we soon became best friends.
  History: I chose 'Tom' as a name, as it was such a plain name for such an incredibly brave Pokemon. So symbolic. Tom had ran away from the Professor Rowan, as he proved to be cruel and harsh, so I helped him. We were both lost and alone, and found faith within ourselves through travelling together. We strive to become brave and powerful, to one day become a Pokemon Master..
