An inherently social creature, he derives energy by immersing himself in crowds - and dragging others with him. Curious by nature and vocal in his interests, nary a day passes without him dragging those around him into his latest scheme - for his is an innocent sense of adventure, one in which he wholeheartedly pushes forward to discover, to learn, to be himself. Despite his open personality, Axel is known for his ability to hold grudges. His is an anger that festers by taking advantage of his ever-active and over-analytical mind. In some ways he was. The lad grew in a household where the atmosphere was a frequent point of discussion, his mother being a scientist at Hoenn's Weather Institute and his grandfather working as a cargo pilot. Talks of his future in the sky were far from an uncommon affair. Indeed, they were often encouraged by those responsible for raising him. Axel enrolled at Grandview Academy when he was twelve, bright-eyed and full of aspiration. Little has changed in the years since. Move List Clarification and SpecificsAt the onset of the RP, all pokemon will be limited to a level between 15 and 5. As a result, all moves known by a Pokemon - excluding the three permitted Egg/TM/HM Moves - have to 1) correspond to its level, and 2) be reflective of a level 15 or below Pokemon. For Pokemon That Evolve Before Level 15At the start of the RP all pokemon must be in their first evolutionary stage (some exclusions with baby pokemon apply). Character Sheet "It can be tiring studying all night, but with my Pokemon, it's always enjoyable." Name: Liam M. McEvoy Age: 16 years Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Homosexual Trainer Classification: Pokemon Researcher Trainee. Personality: Liam is pretty nice and open to strangers, often having conversations that you would think be reserved for close friends with people he only just met ten minutes ago. This was a downfall to Devin's life living in a port city. New people would come for one year but then leave the next. Throughout her term in school, Devin became quite popular. Not for her academic standing or great trainer skills, rather she was someone who was well-liked. But then there's also the fact that her older brother became Hoenn Champion. So at that point, people associated her with him, often receiving the title of "Lucas' little sister". Well, this didn't settle with Devin. She wanted to make her own name for herself. This brought her to the online world of Pokemon blogging. Devin always had the passion to travel and see the world beyond Slateport City, and when she saw the type of lifestyle that some Pokemon bloggers lived, she cemented becoming a blogger herself as a goal. Her journey started with travelling around the region of Hoenn at the age of 12 alongside her brother whenever he had to run errands. On her first journey with Lucas was when she met Nima, her Swablu. Devin had received Nima from an elderly man who didn't have the energy to take care of her. Once she completed her trip around the Hoenn region, Devin set her eyes on other regions. Johto was her second region to visit. Although she didn't travel the whole region, but instead stuck around one section, specifically in the area where her aunt and uncle lived. In her trip of Johto, Devin came across Rux. While she may say that Rux was given to her, in fact, Devin stole him from a neglectful situation. His previous people hardly ever minded him and saw him only as a guard figure. Well after a month of watching the Houndour slowly wither away, Devin decided to steal him. Although it seemed as though they didn't care since the police were never sent after the girl. Then her newest addition, Laika, was rescued from a bad landslide that occurred in the Alolan region. From all her encounters with her, Pokemon Devin had gained many followers on her online blog, her theme slowly forming as a website advocating for rescuing Pokemon. Now she wishes to continue on with her blog to make it become one of the top ten blogs in the Pokemon world. Cunning, mischievious and a little bit devious; Loki will do whatever it takes to get what she wants no matter the means. Underhanded tactics are right up her alley and she will play 'dirty' without a second thought; largely because it is more amusing to do so. A natural born prankster, Loki tends to intentionally stir up problems for her trainer as well as his other companions, namely Fenrir; the most frequent victim to one of her mischievious ploys. Eager to provoke, Loki when given the opportunity, will often 'trigger' Fenrir into chasing her, the tiny fox pokemon able to disguise herself in order to 'escape'. Jay's first official pokemon, Loki has seemingly made it her mission to make everyone's life as difficult as possible; the regular antics that she pulls a clear sign of her intentions. However despite the trouble she causes, Loki is more than willing to follow her trainers commands, the often 'out of the box' battle tactics proving to be too much fun for the small fox. When it comes to pokemon battling, Loki can come across as being merciless in her approach; though this is often not the case. Her playfulness and devious nature often causes this misinterpretation due to the fact that she appears to enjoy her victories a little bit too much. Nickname: Fenrir Species: Growlithe Gender: Male Ability: Intimidate Level: 15 Moves: Bite Roar Ember Leer Take Down Double Kick (Egg Move) Personality: Fenrir is a rather proud and obedient individual; a 'by the book' type of character. He takes great pride in his own accomplishments and is easily 'won over' by any praise and recognition he receives from Jay or anyone else he is close to. This praise however does go straight to his head and will more often than not cause him trouble down the line as he tends to let his ego go wild. Eager to succeed and triumph in battle, Fenrir's battle spirit comes second to none and its this determination to prove itself that has led Fenrir to becoming quite an adept fighter. That being said, Fenrir's confidence in his own prowess does tend to work against him, as the canine pokemon can often be found moping whenever he 'loses'. His 'by the book' persona however is often taken advantage of by Loki; the prankster taking every opportunity she can to mess with him, much to Fenrir's annoyance Fenrir like his species is fiercely loyal to Jay and will eagerly put himself in between Jay and anyone he deems to be a threat; barking loudly in order to scare off the danger and alert everyone else of its presence. Easily spooked and lacking in confidence, it takes awhile for Kage to ease up around others; the bat pokemon often times hiding underneath Jay's jacket where its 'darker'; the darkness making it feel more comfortable. Loud when frightened, Kage has quickly become the source of many 'peace treaties' between Loki and Fenrir, the two older pokemon often putting aside their differences in order to calm down the rattled Kage. Fenrir will often times act protective over the bat pokemon; a guardian ready to leap to the young bats aide should he ever need it. Loki on the other hand acts almost like an older sibling, the devious pokemon acting somewhat 'mature' in her approach. Thanks to her illusion ability, Zorua is able to 'trick' Kage into calming down. As a battler, Noibat could only be described as a 'try-harder'. Though results often don't end up in his favor. Jay is a man with whom you would be able to place your complete trust with, someone who once a solid friendship has been established, would be willing to lay his life down for you, provided he feels that you would do the same for him. Someone who works with his heart on his chest, Jay seeks to re-establish an almost familial bond with those he deems close to him, striving to achieve this 'home like' feeling that he never really had with his family. Race, Color, Gender, Jay cares little for the trivial aspects of a person and instead bases his relationships down towards those he spends time with and those who he feels he knows more in depth. Possessing a 'devil-may-care' attitude to life and a wild recklessness nurtured through his youth, Jay is unafraid to gamble and take a risk. He is confident in his abilities and thus jumps into the fray recklessly despite there being a safer albeit longer alternative to tackling the situation, This reckless nature of his extends into his daily life, i.e. barging into a fight he had no involvement in just because he can or expressing his feelings towards another despite the situation being unfavourable. Jay does to an extent go beyond 'flirting' with the opposite gender, though choosing to do so more for his own amusement. Whilst willing to push the boundaries with what he can get away with, Jay would never take that 'extra' step forward, not unless he truly harboured feelings for that person. A negative habit of his is that, Jay tends to play the facade that everything is okay, putting on a happy and friendly appearance when in public yet in reality he could be feeling quite the opposite, in this regard he could best be described as a coin; having two completely different sides to himself. For the most part he likes to play the fool, make jokes, be the butt of jokes and even tease the girl he fancies. While he is the type who would keep your secret to the grave and have your back in a life or death situation, he is also the type who would sell you out for a quick joke and a few laughs. Gregarious by nature, a trait he most likely inherited from his parents, Jay relishes being in a high-spirited social gathering. While his contribution to the gathering may in fact be minuscule if not non-existent, he simply enjoys the warmth and company provided by those he cherishes. The fact that he has to wear a 'mask' and play the facade also means that he is the type who keeps his negative feelings bottled up. Not really one to talk to others about his problems, he lets the negative emotions fester and swell within himself, thus he will sometimes explode and be overly angry about the smallest of matters. During these situations of frustration and stress, he tends to seclude himself from the outside world, choosing to drown himself in loud music so as to ignore everyone else, or simply isolating himself from others. He doesn't find it too difficult to make new friends, however he isn't going to over exert himself to befriend someone whose personality clashes with his. If overtime, those clashing personalities do relent and they can come to an understanding, he is more then willing to let bygones be bygones. He would prefer to have more friends than enemies thus he tries his best at finding a common ground between himself and another and use that as a foundation to grow the relationship. Underdogs for the win. The youngest son of two prominent pokemon researchers, Jay was largely expected to follow in the footsteps of both his parents as well as his older sister Violet. It was assumed by many that he would be the next in line to take up the title 'Professor'; pursuing a particular scientific field of interest in order to further understand the many mysteries surrounding Pokemon. Alas, that was not to be the case. Unlike his sister, who readily chased down a career in the Pokemon sciences, Jay showed no interest or inclination into doing as such; deciding early on that he merely wanted to explore the world. This isn't to say that he had no real desire to find the missing answers to those mysteries. Jay's stance from the very beginning had always leaned towards experiencing things first hand and in person, rather than burying his head into books or research and theorising what those answers could be. Jay too had a knack for pokemon battles, the young boy taking it upon himself to test himself against other students attending the MeleMele island pokemon school. Even the teachers there could see his potential as a trainer; the ingenious strategies that he implemented as well as the ability to play to his pokemons strengths working in his favour. Alongside Loki, Fenrir and Kage, Jay quickly began to develop a reputation among the islanders. ~Loki's Debut~ Jay , who during his younger years had a knack of venturing into the forest by himself had one day stumbled across an old mansion in the forest. Curious and reckless, Jay had one day mustered enough courage to actually venture up to one of the windows daring to take a peak inside; the lavish furniture within only serving to further peak his interest. It was when he tried to take an even closer look inside that he first met them; though the pokemon residing within had not appeared as such; instead taking on the appearance of one adult female and several young children. Discovered outside by one of the 'children', Jay was quickly ushered into the mansion much to his objections; the rest of the children hiding behind the old lady as he was revealed to them. Though words were never exchanged. From Jay's perspective, it seemed like everyone else knew what the other was saying or thinking without the need for actual words; the various facial expressions exchanged between them being the only sign of communication that they shared. Whilst Jay had felt uneasy about the whole situation, he was quickly won over by the children whom one by one had begun to come out from behind the old lady; each one ushering Jay to play with them. Needless to say, Jay had found himself in their company for the rest of the day; memories of himself playing with the kids still fresh in his mind. It was only when he awoke in the middle of the forest floor with Loki curled up on him that he began to realise the truth of the matter. Whilst not knowing the cause for their sudden disappearance, Jay was able to figure out that the old Lady and her children had been the pokemon Zoroark and Zorua; a discarded old photo of an old woman and her Zoroark and several Zorua being the only evidence of their existence here. No other traces of the mansion or their presence were ever found by Jay. Since then, Loki and Jay have been inseparable; the tiny fox pokemon continuing to 'play' with Jay during any given opportunity ~Fenrir's arrival~ Fenrir's arrival was not unexpected, the 'puppy' pokemon being hatched from an egg. The egg itself had originated from two of Violet's own pokemon, her Arcanine (Helios) and her Jolteon (Electra). Whilst it had not been intended for Fenrir to become Jay's second pokemon, fate has its way of meddling with pre-made plans. It was only when a curious Jay decided to hold the egg, that it hatched, obviously to the dismay of Violet. To make matters worse, Fenrir is not too fond of Violet; largely due to the fact that Violet is often trying to 'use him' for her research. You see, Violet's focus as a researcher revolved around pokemon breeding and egg hatching; the vastly unresearched field subject captivating her with its many secrets. This was largely due to the fact that everything they currently knew about breeding did not seem to apply to pokemon; i.e. the pairing of a Fire and electric type pokemon of different species being able to produce an egg. Yet the egg only hatches out into one species of pokemon and not a hybrid of the two. To this day she has made little headway into her research, though she hopes to make a big breakthrough soon. ~Here come's Noibat~ Noibat was Jay's most recent capture; the bat pokemon getting lost during a violent storm and ending up in the attic of Jay's home. Thrown off course by the destructive winds, the young bat pokemon was seperated from the rest of the Noibats residing in the nearby mountains; carried across the forest until he eventually found himself flying through the attic window. The loud crash accompanied by thunder had shaken the household, Jay being the first one to make it up into the attic where he discovered the frightened pokemon curled up in the corner. With the help of Loki and Fenrir; the trio had remained upstairs with Noibat, keeping the terrified pokemon company whilst the rest of the family tried organizing a visit to the pokemon center despite the terrible storm outside. Though they were only able to make the trip into the city during the morning the next day. A couple days under the care of Nurse Joy, Noibat was released to Jay whom alongside Violet had ventured into the mountains the day after in order to return Noibat to the rest of its flock; though unfortunately they were never able to find them. Violet speculated that they perhaps migrated to a safer region where the storms were not as violent. Since then, Noibat has remained under the care of Jay, accepting the pokeball capture without putting up a fight. Months passed and Jay alongside his three companions had continued to grow closer to one another; the countless battles they shared with fellow islanders as well as among themselves had only proven to them that they were fated to be a team. It was this experience that had been the final nail in the coffin for the indecisive Jay, who at this point was unsure as to exactly what he wanted to pursue. He knew full well that he was not like his parents or older sibling, the idea of conducting research into pokemon being unappealing to him. Instead, Jay wanted to explore. He wanted to go to new places, meet new people, battle new trainers and perhaps win a league or two. Maybe he could even open up his own gym, to establish a gym association in the Alola region for trainers to challenge, much like they did elsewhere in the other regions. All Jay knew at this point, was that in order to attain his dreams he would need to travel the world, to leave the Alolan region temporarily and soak up as much experience that he could get from the other regions. Whilst his parents still held hope that Jay too would become a researcher; they knew full well that they could not force him to become one if he himself did not desire to be one. Thus, in order to satiate Jays desires of exploring the world for himself as well as to satiate their secret hope that he would still make the decision to become a researcher; they came to a decision. The GrandView Academy located within the Johto Region in Goldenrod City promised to nurture future big names in both the science and academic fields of pokemon as well as to develop future big named trainers. It was the answer to all their problems​ ~Misc.~ ~Aspiring Gym Leader~ Jay has aspirations of becoming a gym leader, but not after he has travelled the regions to experience the various types of gyms that exist out in the world. Considering Alola's uniqueness in the fact that they do not have an organization of Pokemon gyms, Jay has become rather fascinated by the idea of opening up the first official gym in Alola. Jay however has as of yet been undecided on just what type of gym he would want to create; knowing that the general consensus of gyms is to stick to a single 'type' affinity. Jay however knows that he does not want to follow this concept and instead wants to create something new. Just like Alola is unique in its traditions, Jay wants to create a unique experience for those young trainers seeking a challenge; should he ever establish a gym of his own. ​

I never liked it, because I was dressed up like a doll and shown off like some kind of prize. No fun. But the one night that everyone is home, the freaking mansion burns down. Juuuuust my luck, huh? I wake up with smoke in my face, and panic. I try to help some of my siblings, but I can’t get any of the doors open, so I just run. So obviously the one thing I do is go stumbling down the mountain instead of going to the police like a normal seven year old would. No, I go running down the mountain until I black out somewhere. When I wake up, I’m in the hospital. A nurse is standing there, looking concerned and asking if I’m feeling okay, along with a nervous looking, mousey man with dusty brown hair and glasses. The nurse tells me that this man (Professor Elm) had found me in the woods and brought me here. It turns out, I’m the only one who survived that mansion fire. The whole place burned to cinders, leaving nothing behind. After that, Professor Elm brought me home to foster me till I found a permanent home, but it was pretty clear we bonded instantly. He adopted me into his small, modest family, and I couldn't have been happier there. Professor Elm is so nice and clumsy and ridiculous and a HORRIBLE cook, but I loved every moment I spent with that family. I was LIVING, not just existing. My dead family of seven had been replaced with a small family of three. Well, four. If you include Luna. My starter Pokémon, a cute little Grass-Type Chikorita. Name: Jun Nakahara Age: 18 Gender: Non-binary Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Trainer Classification: Amateur Archeologist Personality: Honest, eager, and practical- if one had to distill Jun's character into a few words, these would be the first to come to mind. When something or someone has captured their interest, said person is given their undivided attention. This diligence is prevalent when tackling all but the most menial labours, the youth seeking to maintain a degree of order and efficiency in all that they do. Any information gleaned from a conversation is committed to memory, and they're just as keen in listening to others as in speaking. While their manner of speech can be informal or blunt, Jun maintains a deep respect for others which is revealed through actions moreso than words. On the other hand, once something has grown dull or repetitive in nature, the teenager has little issue in discarding it, being at times a fickle creature. What is perhaps their greatest flaw though is their candour: lying is not Jun's strong suit, never being one to mince words even when discussing sensitive topics. This has proven divisive or even a source of conflict in some relationships, yet should it turn to quarrelling they have few qualms about walking away from an argument, especially when no clear resolution is in sight. They were happy with their family and friends in the rural little community, but from a young age had far loftier ambitions. At first it was dinosaurs that fascinated them, the bizarre creatures whose drawings dotted a handful of their grandfather's old books. Soon that intrigue expanded to the histories in general, especially those eras at the dawn of civilization. The kid pored over books and pictures of these ancient remnants with vigour, and spent countless hours imagining what it would be like to explore those long-forgotten tombs. Their idols were the rugged explorers who uncovered and excavated these treasured ruins, with the legendary adventurer and Pyramid King Brandon sitting at the top of this pedestal. To wander those hallowed halls themselves and uncover the secrets of their ancestors became their singular focus. Jun's first stroke of luck came at the age of twelve, when many children from the school set off on their pokemon journey. Rather than fighting for badges however, a greater opportunity arose- through their grandfather's old co-workers at the quarry Jun was introduced to Professor Cozmo of Fallarbor Town. This led to a mentorship with the famed geologist, spending the next three years immersing themselves in the world of field research during their excavation of Meteor Falls. He was an eccentric teacher (some of his quirks rubbing off on the teenager), but was eager to teach everything he could to his young protégée. At the end of this period, the Professor coaxed a few of his ruin maniac colleagues to hire the teen as a volunteer. Before undertaking their first trip to the perilous deserts of Route 111 however, Jun's grandparents had one additional gift to bestow- A small Golett sent from Unova by an extended relative. The duo soon became fast friends and close partners-in-crime. Over the past few years, Jun has hopped around Hoenn and Sinnoh to accompany more veteran explorers on their expeditions. Recently however, the young adult has since chosen to strike out on their own, beloved pokemon in tow, eager to start making some discoveries of their own. Miscellaneous: The trainer doesn't fuss much with labels, usually letting people reach their own conclusions on how to refer to them. Frequently uses their bike to commute or transport equipment to excavation sites, the poor contraption loaded with saddle bags and gear.

  Love to live, live to love, find that which inspires awe and be awful in the most romantic sense of the word; and other clichés such as that. Words to live by, depending on who you are. If that's your style, then there's a woman who would treat you well. A certain bubble-head that loves to love, filling her life with pleasantries and cuteness, enough to make a person sick. There's a woman who is always rocking a smile so gentle and pure. A woman that seems to glide and dance, in sickness and in health, exuberantly married to her own happiness. If that sounds like a proper cup of tea, then seek out Onna.
  
  Onna has been in the game for a long time now. One could call her a "happiness dealer" if one felt inclined so saying silly things. Onna certainly feels such an inclination. In a sense, the aim of her game is to make everyone have that same inclination. To break out of the shell, to be loud, to be you, purely lovely fantastic you. Her mission, put simply, is to see everyone be as awesome -in the classical sense- as they can be. It can be sickening. It can be infectious.
  
  Such a goal is lofty, some may even say foolish. Onna would agree. She is no fool, having experienced life to the admittedly small degree she has, the woman understands that happiness is a duality. Sadness makes it's home on the other side of the coin. In moments of weakness, be it her own or of another, in moments of calm her smile remains but her attitude composes itself. Character Sheet “If you touch the hat we’re gonna have a problem here.” Name: Dustin Fergo Age: 18 Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Bi-sexual Trainer Classification: Pokémon Breeder Personality: Outgoing, hyperactive, and finding himself unable to sit around for longer than a minute Dustin is the sole definition of an embarrassing little brother who often finds joy in even the smallest bit of entertainment. Being the bold and dangerously reckless young lad he is Dustin prefers to bask in the outdoors and discover what the real world may hold for him. Though this adventurous side has gotten him lost on a number of occasions has his sense of direction is incredibly flawed. He could manage to walk in a straight line and still find himself in uncharted places on his way back. Dustin wholeheartedly dislikes staying indoors finding most buildings to be a little bit too restricting. The young lad tends to have a highly competitive nature despite whether or not a competition actually exist. Dustin tends to turn eveyrthing into a game and can often be easily conviced to do anything if it revolves around a game. While understanding the importance of school the young lad tends to find himself lacking the attention span to score above average grades. Whether from his routinely daydreaming or even simply falling asleep Dustin's subconscious constantly distracts him with other activities to shut out the constant boredom he endures during school. Dustin was a bit of a runt compared to his elder brother's and often got picked on because he was the baby of the family. It was a tad annoying, but when it came down to having a good time he could always turn to his brothers. Whether it was Rhyhorn racing or attempting to wrestle the Pignite's there was always some kind of fun to be done on their little farm. At first Dustin was having quite a bit of trouble handling some of the Pokémon as a few of them were as stubborn as stubborn could get. There was a specific Lillipup that, like him, was the runt of his litter. Only the Lillipup had an attitude like no other. Whether it came to bathing or trying to brush his fur the Lillipup would always fight Dustin no matter what he did. Despite the Lillipup always giving Dustin hell whenever it could, when it had fallen terribly ill Dustin was still there for it and took care of it to the best of his abilities. As the Lillipup became healthy again it had grown attached to Dustin and soon became his partner in mischief. Often pulling pranks on his older brothers along his newfound friend as the two made sure none of his brothers were safe from their tag team power. As Dustin grew older he continued to bond with not only his Lillipup, but his brothers as well. They would often sleep under the stars with one another using their mareeps as a way to stay warm while the elder siblings always had some sort of story to tell from a time before he was born. He loved hearing their stories, but had always found himself without one as he was always with them. Sure he could have told them which pranks he had pulled on them, but he wasn't looking for a death sentence. Dustin honestly thought it must have been super cool to be a elder sibling as they had so many wild stories to tell that he himself may never get to experience. Even still, he was happy with how his family was now. His best friend and his dear brothers. It was simple, but that was all he needed. Though with his life of simplicity came with the burden of ignorance. Dustin was incredibly close to his elder brothers and they shared an unbreakable bond with one another, but that didn't mean they would be together forever. In his head Dustin often imagined them living on the farm forever, but as his brother's got older, they began to set out on their own and left the farm. One by one as the brothers left Dustin felt a piece of himself leave with them going out and starting their own careers and life. Leaving Dustin with a sense of loneliness. He didn't blame them or anything, but the little games they used to play together had lost their everlasting charm. And for once not even his dear Lillipup could cheer him up. Sure he had plenty of chores to take his mind off things, but it was different when you were so used to having so many people around making everything fun. As time went by Dustin had finally made a decision and would go out and create his own adventure just like his brothers. Only he wanted his to be more exciting and be filled with exciting events. Because when he sees them again he wants them to sit down and listen to a story of his for a change. Belinda was Tri's daughter from his previous marriage. She moved into Twinleaf at the age of six. Young enough to adapt, but still old enough to miss her old life. She merged well with the rhythm of Twinleaf Town, but she preferred spending her time reading storybooks at home rather than playing outside. The storybooks were familiar; Tri had brought them when the father and daughter moved from Paniola Town in Alola. Verity, when she knew of Belinda's hobby, supported it by providing her more books. When some children at the age of 12 went on their pokemon journey, Belinda stayed. She liked being home. Apart from going to school, she spent most of her time reading. She had moved on from storybooks to novels, but she still persisted. There was a reason Fumerus, her Litten, had a low fighting power. despite accompanying her since she was a child. It rarely had the opportunity to fight. Speaking of pokemon, Belinda only received her Abra Crania and her Happiny Cozcy once she stated her desire to study medicine. Happiny would later evolve into Chansey and Blissey, who were good companions for a doctor. Abra and its evolutions were a good helper for doctors working in the field-- although they needed to be kept in pokeballs in hospitals since they tend to ruin the machines. The motivation behind her application to study medicine was simple; to be independent. In a world where pokemon battle was the norm and pokemons worked with humans on a daily basis, accidents couldn't be completely prevented. The presence of pokemons able to heal injury didn't reduce the demand of health practitioner, so she just went for it. Besides, with some prior knowledge gained from watching her father at work and reading some of his books, she wouldn't fare too badly.

In reality, it's just as he describes it, he's a man who marches to the beat of his very slow drum. Due to his life before enrolling in the Academy Felix is wise beyond his years, even putting out an aura of maturity. Felix is a stoic and reserved individual, never really showing his negative feelings, or appearing as if nothing bothered him. He marches through life with a calm and collected demeanor, albeit maybe a little too calm and collected. This extreme lack of urgency makes others view Felix as lazy, as while there's an essay due in two hours he's oftenly napping somewhere while everyone else is panicking. Although, unknowingly to them, Felix completed it a few days before, a silent but hard worker this one is. Though there is another side to this coin, while his previous peaceful small-town life granted Felix an extremely calm demeanor, it also isolated him from kids his age. It's not like he's socially awkward it's more like he doesn't really understand them, almost as if Felix is an old man himself. He's naive to the outside world, especially when it comes to technology. However the moves left him with little friend since most of the time he couldn't form a friendship with what little time he had. When he was young this lead him to try and pick on those he liked so he'd get their attention before moving day came again. Leo found his first companion Lily when they were scared in an alley way. As much time as he could he spent with her until she came home with him. His parents didn't much know until later when he found another pokemon to take home in his early teens. Lily became inseparable from Leo in his time, whether helping him around the house or going out she was right by his side. After Chris got use to him the little Kricketot often came along with them. Turning 15 he found his last partner Will when his younger sisters brought them home. Will wasn't actually Leos though he helped take care of him. The day he saw how his younger sister where truly growing and didn't much need him was the day he decided he wanted to go out and try to find what he was suppose to do now. When he was saying goodbye his younger sisters gave Will to him to take on his journey. Character Sheet "Optional Character Quote Here" Name: Andy Richter Age: 20 years old Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: straight Trainer Classification:Trainer now, looking to be a Medic later perhaps Personality: Andy is eager to observe the world around him and somewhat inquisitive. That inquisitiveness has made him very bright in terms of knowledge of nature but has also led to an unhealthy sense of danger because of it. Due to still being young, he is still a little naive, which results in him falling for pranks, such as April Fools pranks. However, when this does happen, he will see it as a learning experience and, in fact occasionally going along with it knowing full well that it’s a prank for the sake of humor. One example of this comes from Ratattas or other prankster pokémon hiding his items all over Mahogany Town, the pokémon themselves belonging to other trainers. The scavenger hunts don't bother him as he sees the pokémon as being playful or silly. Andy has high morals and won't allow anything to happen to his friends, going out of his way to try and settle disputes between other locals, even though it's clearly none of his business, telling the truth whenever he does something wrong, or just being around for people that have had bad days. This does lead to him getting into some sticky situations, however, such as people ignoring Andy during a dispute, at which point he will leave them alone. Andy will start out shy to any person or pokèmon but will gradually warm up to them as time goes on and strive above most things to keep his friends happy, beware he will run away from anyone that lashes out at him. Battle-wise Andy favors being more on the defensive side, envisioning pokémon battles to be more like chess matches rather than matches of power preferring to pick his opponents apart with strategy instead. Likes: Andy is quite the caring soul to most people, perhaps too much so. Not like he cares as he sees that as one of his better qualities. When it comes to pokemon if they are wanting to play, he will play with them if he deems that appropriate, which may lead to some either silly things or may be dangerous, depending on the pokemon, he also isn't the one to turn down a person or pokemon asking for help be it simple or difficult, he would try to help. Dislikes: Caution is usually not a bad thing unless a pokemon perceives it as weakness and becomes hostile or runs off, Andy 'kicks his tires before he leaves' more than once. As outgoing to as he is when he has met someone, he is that timid around those he hasn't met yet, leading itself to the overly cautious part as well. The parents wanted him to make some friends with any other kids at their favorite spot, which also happens to be where the parents met, Corsola Cove, around Mt Mortar, dubbed that due to the abundance of Corsola present. However, if they tried to help him he would run away without saying a word with a very scared expression on his face, thus leading the local kids in Mahogany to label him an oddball. This continued until age 6 during one routine day at Andy's now favorite area. He was busy making little designs in the sand, with his parents watching him while they were lounging around. That is until a Water Ball pokémon popped its head out of the water. The Azurill, as identified by Mr. and Mrs. Richter who still carried pokèdexes just in case, merrily bounced up to the trio with a squeak. This was Andy's first encounter with a pokémon so initially, he recoiled away from it. The Aqua Mouse Pokémon just waved its bouncy tail at him, smiled and squeaked once more which made Andy more cautious now more than afraid as he reached out to pet the Marill of which it took full comfort in. Bob and Martha saw this occur and became overjoyed that their bundle of nerves seemed to have taken a shine to a pokémon and potential new friend. After a whole day of play by Andy and his new found poké-friend, Azurill, the Richters got ready to return to Mahogany Town. Before they left, she squeaked again, waved using that tail of hers and walked back into the lake. From then on, Andy slowly became more outgoing. By age 10 thanks to repeated visits to see Azurill, he was at least being more vocal with the Mahogany Town locals, unless it was the first time meeting a person, in that case, he would start out timid but warm up to him or her after a few minutes of conversation. Andy's homeschooling was going well too, he was learning Middle School levels of reading, writing, and math. Though he was homeschooling well, he wasn't as interested as much. His love of nature though never really diminished still wanting to go to places along Johto such as Corsola Cove, Ecruteak City, and Olivine City, as well as keeping an eye on his neighbor's potted plants. During the year before his 16th birthday, Andy’s adventurous side started showing up. He would sneak out during the night to explore the areas around Mahogany; not going too much farther than that because he didn't want to worry his mom and dad, he was very respectful of them after all. He yearned to head to rest of the Johto region learning about the many cultures and pokémon present throughout with his own pokémon, little did he know they both were planning quite a surprise for him. On his 14th birthday, the parents let him have a chance at his own adventure, before all that though, was the usual happy birthday Andy followed by the birthday cake and presents which included a backpack, a shell bell, a flashlight as well as a very special, secret surprise that Andy's parents decided to keep secret from him, a certain blue mouse. The soon-to-be breeder was very excited about all the goodies until he remembered he still needed a pokémon. Suddenly, he heard a familiar sounding squeak. He lit up like a Blitzle charging up a Thunder attack. He picked up the Aqua Mouse and paraded around the house and hugged it followed by the parents for getting his first real friend. Andy became ecstatic, he now had everything he needed to start his adventure in Greenview Academy ; with that, he bolted out the door with all the gifts and Aquamarine, an affectionate name for his first pokémon, in tow after one last goodbye hug from his parents. To think this all started upon meeting a tiny little blue mouse. Miscellaneous: Do not make fun of him eating pecha berries unless you want to see an embarrassed, blushing teen. Despises any and all poison types (he and Aquamarine both are deathly terrified of them.)

Personality: Spencer is a very down to Earth, albeit pessimistic, person. He does not hate the world, but he isn't a fan of the hand he was dealt in life. It's in his nature to help others if he can, but that doesn't mean he's a fan of doing it, often weighing the ups and downs of any given situation to determine if anything in is his best interest. Spencer is somewhat disinterested in other people, after years of having seen almost nothing but the nasty side of the wealthy 1%. Though distrusting of others, he is loyal to a fault until given a reason to no longer be. Although he prefers to be a sarcastic asshole to people, his demeanor changes entirely when pokemon are involved. He loves all of Arceus' creations and will make sure any pokemon he comes across is well taken care of, even if it means he has to go without. He had friends, a family, anything and everything a growing boy needed to lead a perfectly happy, normal life. When he turned 10, Spencer struggled with the idea of becoming a pokemon trainer like his parents and their parents before them, ultimately deciding to stay in school and get a formal education. All of his friends at the time left to follow their own dreams, leaving him feeling extremely lonely. He managed to cope however, and the day he turned 16 he started putting in applications to all of the local restaurants. Restaurant Le Nah was the only one willing to offer him a job while still in school, and for 2 years that job was the only thing outside of going to school he ever had the attention span for. After graduation however he knew he needed to get a better paying job, ultimately ending up at Restaurant Le Wow. The base pay was much better, there were benefits, and was just an all around improvement over what Le Nah could offer him. Or so he thought. The customer base, while mostly rich aristocrats, were some of the most nasty, rude, hateful, mean group of human beings he had ever had the displeasure of serving. A job was a job sure, but there was a limit as to how much he could take. It quickly became apparent to him that comparing Le Wow to Le Nah was like comparing night and day. Le Nah allowed him to keep his tips in addition to his base pay, where as at Le Wow if a customer battled you and you lost, the winnings came from your tips and base pay. On more than one occasion he ended up owing the restaurant money at the end of the day rather than walking away with money in his pocket. He hated the job, and those that he had to serve, but what was he to do? Before he realized it he was 24 and hated even the thought of getting out of bed. Something had to change. And change it did when he went in to work that day. A Sandile owned by the restaurant was up to his usual tricks, playing pranks on customers by being unnecessarily underfoot and causing general mischief. In his rush to deliver a plate to a too hot to trot uppity thot at table 3 Spencer did not see the mischievous Sandile and inadvertently stepped full force on to the back of the pokemon. The Sandile understandably was surprised by the sudden weight on its back and immediately tried moving to get out from underneath the weight, inadvertently launching Spencer face forward towards table 3 and the plate of food landing on the customer. Between threats of violence and suing the restaurant the customer demanded Spencer be fired immediately, something his manager was all too happy to accommodate. Anything to keep the lawyers out of it. It wasn't until he got home did Spencer realize the Sandile had followed him home, shaking his head and offering the pokemon a bite to eat. After time was given to let things cool off Spencer returned to the restaurant with the Sandile in tow, hoping to if nothing else return the pokemon to its rightful owners. As soon as they were spotted the owner of the restaurant stopped Spencer from coming any closer, telling him and the Sandile both that they were no longer on the premises. “But he's your pokemon!” Spencer called loud enough to draw some attention, the owner turning his nose up at Spencer before turning and uttering “Not anymore.” Just loud enough for the two of them to hear before disappearing back in to his establishment. That night Spencer sat down with the his new Sandile friend, his Squirtle, and Teddiursa and 'discussed' their future together, eventually coming to the decision that the only way he was going to get ahead in life would be to go back to school.
