Looking to try something I haven't done in a while! I've done some plots in the past in which our posts were all poems, and we wrote back and forth in that form. I don't have any particular plots, but I will share some random ideas at the end. Please let me know if you are interested!

Sunday Best

Fear is my rosary
Apologies are the little cross
Clutched at the beginning of each prayer
The cold, clinical beads
Seem too Holy to be looked at directly
My hands stutter on a few
Death by communion
My uncle, smote by God
Until I return to the apologies
When I pause to take a breath
I see paint chipped off in my hands
And I don't know if I'm wearing away
Bits of truth
Or peeling off a false layer
Of "Sunday Best"
