Poetic Roleplay

(This is just a raw idea inspired from discord chat and no thought has gone into its purpose or plot yet)


What do you guys think of a roleplay in which players choose a certain form of writing (ex. haiku, rhyme scheme, limerick, iambic pentameter) and posted only in that?


If that's too broad/confusing with the multiple writing types, what would you say about an rp in which all players needed to post in a single writing form (haiku etc etc)?

Great idea and all, but there's going to be problems with people deliberately thinking haiku is just 5-7-5 syllables "oh that's easy I can do it too" and not even use seasonal words. No offense meant, @Zilla


And then some other people taking creative liberties, etc etc, it's going to be a messy state of affairs.

I have seen this done on other sites reasonably well. So it's possible to do as long as your clear on the guidelines.

Don't worry. I know I'm terrible at haiku beyond being able to follow the most basic guidelines.
