[Saint Constantine]

Hello Everyone, I'm Constantine, or at least that's my name here.


I occassionally write poetry, usually in Latin, but occasionally in French or English as well. Most of this will be in Latin, with an English translation provided below the original poem, same with French poems as well.


I'll try and post a new poem once a week, as I get back into the swing of things

Aeternum vale, mi catte care Maxe.


Amo, teus dolor exit, cum es pace.


Hodie pro te fleo, donec ultimo diei


Sum felix que dederam domum tibi

I love you, your pain is passed, you are with peace


Today I will cry for you until the final day


I am happy that I could have given you a home.





This is a tribute poem to my cat, a dear friend of mine who lived a long happy life with me. It's by no means a traditionally metered latin poem, It's pretty modern, and it uses an aabb ultimate rhyming scheme
