Roleplay Type(s)
Hi there!

So as the title suggests, I've had some plot cravings recently and would love to find a partner to write them out with. But before I get to the plots I'll just mention some things I look for in a partner.

Partner Criteria:
-Be 18 or older-- Nothing against younger folks, just a personal preference.
-Be able to write at least 3 paragraphs per response with proper grammar (I'm a huge advocate for quality over quantity, but I'd like some meat to the response)
-Be able to play the male character (I'm really looking to play female since I have been stuck being the male in all of my rps recently. I am no longer looking to double because people tend to not put the same effort into both characters. Sorry)
-Communication is key (let me know if you're losing interest, not going to be around for a bit, etc.)
-Effort (I want the plot to be a collaboration, add some plot twists of your own. I love drama)
-Be a friend, I want to get to know you too!

A little bit about me:
I'm a 26 year old female who recently got her graduate degree during a pandemic. I was laid off two months after starting my new position due to the pandemic. I am looking for a new job, but as you can imagine there are slim pickings. So I'm left with more free time than I am used to. I will always try and keep you posted about my absences. I typically write between 4-7 paragraphs in my responses, and my responses usually occur at least once a day (if not more frequent). I love drama, plot twists, and romance. I am open to playing more than one character. However, as stated before, I will be playing the female. Any male characters I play will be side characters.

Without further ado, I'll get to the plot ideas I have. I'm flexible when it comes to the plots so please feel free to propose changes or add any ideas you may have!

Plots:

Character A and Character B had a summer fling. They thought that they were never going to see each other again. At the end of summer Character B and their family have to move. On the first day of school, A sees a ghost from summer's past. The new student that people are mumbling about is in fact B. Will the summer fling rekindle? Or will the flame remained extinguished along with the summer heat?

Character A and Character B posts poetry and short stories anonymously on this website. They've really connected through their writing. The pair have messaged each other back and forth whenever they have free time. A internet romance is very much blooming. Unbeknownst to them, they actually attend the same school. Will they find out who the other is? Will these two, who are polar opposites on the social ladder, allow their love to blossom in real life or will social pressures keep them apart?

As a health class assignment, students are required to take care of a baby simulator for 3 weeks. The teacher doesn’t give the students a choice of partners, instead pairing them up at random. Much to Character A’s dismay, they’re matched up with Character B, someone they absolutely can’t stand. B isn’t pleased about it either, since they feel the same way about A. Every decision they make as fake parents is a struggle from the very beginning, particularly scheduling who takes care of the baby when and for how long. A and B are forced to compromise and spend time together with the baby for the sake of the project, which requires cooperative decision-making and documentation of their progress. Over the course of the project, A and B start to realize that their partner isn’t as horrible as they once thought. They’re actually kind of fun to be around, even given the circumstances.

Character A is the popular bad boy a small private college. He doesn't follow the rules and loves to throw a good party. Character B is a new transfer student who is rarely seen around campus, unless she is in class. This new student doesn't attends parties and overall tends to keep to herself. The reason she keeps to herself and isn't participating in the normal college life? She doesn't have a choice, she's the President's daughter. Luckily for her though, many college students don't keep up with politics and don't connect her face to being the president's daughter. However, one night she makes an appearance at a party after receiving a drunk call from her best friend who is sworn to secrecy, asking for a ride home after drinking too much. B shows up and tries to retrieve her intoxicated friend before being noticed by anyone at the party or that she is missing by her secret service members. Her plan fails and she accidentally knocks into A, causing his drink to fly along with the sparks. (Could also be President of the university instead of the country)

Several years ago, Character A moved away from their quiet hometown to explore life in a busy city, only to discover that it’s not as great as they’d once hoped. Looking for comfort and a break from the hustle and bustle, A travels back to the place they grew up in with the intention of staying only for a few days. As Character A crosses the town limits, they recall one of their favorite childhood places to hang out - a small field out by an abandoned farmhouse that had an old tree with a wooden swing. Taking a chance, A drives out there, pleasantly surprised to see the tree and swing still there. A remembers how they used to meet Character B at this swing after school when they were kids. B was A’s first everything. They grew apart just before A decided to move away and then they completely lost touch. Unbeknownst to A, B still comes to this spot to reminisce about the good, old days. When A takes a seat on the old swing, relaxing in the gentle breeze, the familiar, but aged, voice of B catches their attention.

Character A and Character B are high school sweethearts who eventually break it off and go separate ways. A moves to another town/state/area, meets someone, gets married, and has a kid. but due to unfortunate circumstances, A’s spouse passes away. A ends up moving back home with their child to try and start over in their hometown and runs into B who is still single and working and just trying to live. They reconnect, B meets A’s child, and starts hanging out with the two of them, slowly easing A and B back into feelings for each other.

Character A is a single parent. They work hard to support their child, their world. Character A works as a waitress full time trying to provide for the two of them, barely making ends meet. Meanwhile, Character B is a wealthy businessperson and is also a single parent. Though B is more of the parent who leaves their parenting up to the staff. It's not that he meant to put their parenting responsibilities off on his staff, but work just took up more and more of their time and it just became a habit. The relationship between B and their child is straining. One day B makes their way into A's place of employment and is seated at her table. Will sparks fly? Will A help repair B's relationship with their child?

Character A and Character B were high school sweethearts. Everyone thought that they were going to be the ones that stayed together. However, towards the end of their high school careers things fell apart. While they went their separate ways after graduation, a part of Character B always stayed with Character A. She was pregnant with B's child. Character B went off to college while Character A raised the child on her own, never telling Character B. Both A and B are grown and find themselves back in the small hometown where it all started. Will A tell B about the child? Will B figure it out? Will things rekindle between the pair?

Character A is a single parent. They are raising their child(ren) the best they can while maintaining a full-time job, a home, food, etc. One day they have a meeting with Character B, their child's teacher. There is some spark between the pair. Is the spark hatred because B is criticizing A's parenting style, or is it something more?
