PLease help, I'm an idiot QAQ

Calalily

HEAR ME RAWR!....mew :3
So......I'm a massive idiot, and even though I keep reading this over and over again. I do not understand the bbcode system thing. I don't even understand how to add tabs. its just eludes me, can someone maybe help dumb it down for me? to like potato level?

So the bbc or bb code thing is a way to format what you're writing. It lets you make italics bold[/i] underlined words. It even allows you to insert a hyperlink to a URL into words. If you click on the link then it'll take you to a site that explains it.

You don't have to worry about bb coding so don't freak out if you're going
le huh? when it comes to bb coding. A lot of people are confused by it.

As far as tabs are concerned...

If you'll noticed in roleplays there are tabs for IC, OOC, CS, Neutral Characters, Settings, etc right? The majority of our RPs are threads and a single RP can have at least 3-4 different threads to keep the RP going. For example, let's imagine that you have created an RP called BelGeran, the Godslayer's Son (if you've not read the Belgariad and the Mallorean by David Eddings, do so). You would need, for your RP an IC thread, an OOC, thread, a Character Sheet thread, a Settings thread, and Lore thread. This means you would need to create 5 different threads in the Fanfic section of the Roleplay tab.

But the problem is that now you have 5 different threads and they will quickly get buried under all the other threads being created for other RPs. How are you going to make it easy for your RPers to find all 5 of your threads when they need to post in the different threads on a regular basis? Easy, you have a 'home' thread in which you have tabs that are linked to those five different threads needed for your RP. This way all you and your RPers have to do is mainting the link to 1 thread for all of the others.

In order to get a tab for your different threads, you make a tab request giving us the link for the thread in the forum where the thread you want tabbed to your 'home' thread is. Then you tell give us the link for you 'home' thread and ask us to make a tab for the thread.

For example, if you want us to add a Settings tab to your RP, you give us the link where your Settings thread is and then you give us a link to where your 'Home' thread is and you ask us to make a Settings tab in your 'Home' tab.

I actually just kinda figured this stuff out, like it randomly came to me. or maybe I stopped being an idiot xD anyway thank you~
