Realistic or Modern Playing It Straight (Gameshow RP)

I got this idea from a British reality game show with the same basic premise but I really liked this idea for a role play so I'm going to see if you guys are interested.

The What

​

So this is a reality game show that is similar to the Bachelorette. There will be 1 female character and probably about 6 male characters (maybe more if there is significant interest). So they all compete through group dates and challenges to win the girls heart, yet there's a twist: half of the boys are straight and the other half are gay. The woman knows some of them are lying but she needs to decide who is lying to her by elimination at the end of every night. In the end if the woman picks a straight guy, they will each win $25000, yet if she picks a gay guy he will walk away with the full $50000!

The Skill Level

This will be listed as a casual role play though I except at LEAST a good paragraph so that's 6-8 sentences at minimum! But feel free to go over as much as you want! I also expect a reply at LEAST once a day though I do understand really life come up so I'd be okay with pretty much anything if you talk to me about it first.

@DarkiusHeavenstein I figured that everyone would PM me and tell me their sexuality and just not touch on that subject much in their history part of the CS and I'd try to keep it even. I plan on playing as the host and maybe one of the boys but we'll see!

@Keira Winston She is open, but I felt there would be a bit of conflict over that character so once I make the thread I'll have it open for multiple CS's probably for 24 hours just so everyone has a fair game you know? From there I'll pick someone who I feel would make the most of the RP sort of you know? Sorry its kind of hard to explain but feel free to make a CS and post it once I make the thread!

No, that's fine, I totally get it. I've seen a few rps where they hand pick which CS they think would be fit.

The only concern with your set up though... Why would any gay guy sign up for this? Seems like there's nothing in it for him.


I think it would maybe make more sense if there were one gay who could - if picked - win all the money by himself?

@Scribbly I touched on it with the prizes a bit, but basically, the gay guys would be there because if they could trick this girl into falling in love with them and she chooses him as the winner, he would walk away with the entire $50,000 himself and everyone else gets nothing!

Quick question...I am totally in love with this idea, but a lot (and I mean a lot) of roleplayers on this site tend to play female characters. Would you consider making a version of this with one male and lesbian females, and if not, can I steal the idea and give you credit?
