"Never in my life have I felt more joy than when I play the violin. And these people only fuel that joy farther than I could have ever imagined."
"Alex, I know you're upset, but you have to understand...your father is being promoted! It's a huge opportunity for both him and us. Don't you want to live by the beach? And have enough money to eat your favourite foods...?" Right about now, Alexander was sitting in his room with his mother. She was bent on trying to get the boy to understand that they simply couldn't stay here when there was somewhere newer and better around the corner. While she did understand where her son was coming from, she knew that it was a losing battle. Music just didn't seem to pay the bills.....and business did.

Alexander glanced up at her, his heart heavy. He felt shaky and distraught, as if he were stuck in a puddle of quicksand, without a rope to pull him out. He couldn't help it. He didn't want to leave. They've been here all his life and this is where he grew up..! His best friends were always right around the corner. They wouldn't have that in Miami. They wouldn't have the parks to practice in, or the music room at school, they wouldn't have Evelynn, or Julias, or Ivan, or Regina. None of it would follow them to Florida. "We can't leave mom," he said with a quiet and pleading tone, his eyebrows tilting in dismay. "What about my friends..? And school...? I'm only a Junior. I can't suddenly start somewhere else again..."

She looked at him with sympathy, her lips twisted into a small frown. It pained her to see Alex like this, it really did. The boy was always so peppy and ready to start the day, optimistic with a dash of reasonability to balance things out...but, right now, the brunette seemed like a totally different person. He was sullen and down. A really rare sight coming from him. Nobody knew that more than his mother. "Oh honey, I know...but this job is really important to him.." Taking the teen's hands into her own, she cupped them warmly, eyes softening as her tone took a motherly turn. "Music is where the heart is...wherever you go it'll follow you. Staying here in this little town doesn't do anything but hold you down...you're so much stronger than this, Alexander. I know you'll be fine."

"But what if my heart's here..? In Oak Brook?"

Leaning forward, the woman didn't reply, simply kissing the other's forehead before standing from the bed. "Dinner will be ready shortly...I'll call you when it's done." And just like that, his mom left the room, leaving a confused --and to be frank, sort of angry-- Alexander by himself.

It wasn't fair at all. How was he going to explain this to everyone...?

Regina Marie Bianchi

Delicate . . .

Regina sighed for the fifth time in seven minutes. She was bored beyond belief. Her father and his partner were away on business while her mother was taking a trip around the world. The only other signs of life in her mansion was the servants and herself. Regina tried to entertain herself by looking through her closet. The large space was organized by to levels. The fist level being shoes and the top second being clothing and accessories. As she looked through her things Regina was only reminded that she needed to go shopping pretty soon. The young girl was a stickler when it came to fashion. She preferred to wear clothes that were in season and expensive. Eventually she sat on a chair in her closet. Regina logged on to social media, liking certain things and scrolled over others.

Thank you for accepting me! I'm glad you liked Evelynn! ^^

"Shouldn't you be studying?" Came a voice from inside the main room, where Evelynn sat on her black bench, admiring the keys that played such gorgeous music. The voice belonged to her brother, Nathaniel, who raised an eyebrow at the youngest child. Whenever her siblings were around, Evelynn felt small, not good enough. She felt like she could never live up to them. Nathaniel, being the smarter protégé who would take over the family business, was still in her school, watching over her as a senior. He knew all of her classes, her grades, and her study schedules.

"I don't need to," The black haired girl replied, not looking up from the piano. "I've got excellent grades, perfect test scores, and I studied an hour ago. I have time." She heard Nathaniel sigh. Of course he was annoyed at her. She wasn't as pretty as her sister, Kelly, or as smart as him. She was just there, accomplishing nothing.

"Father says-"

"I don't care what father says. I'm able to do my own activities. I am perfectly capable being by myself and achieving my own goals." Evelynn stood as she spoke, and walked past him. "I'll be down for dinner. If I am late, tell Maria to come retrieve me." Maria was a maid, Evelynn's closest maid. She stormed out of the room, up the spiral stairs, and to her bedroom.

Evelynn's bed. Her sanctuary. She locked the doors and darted to the comfort, opened the laptop laying on her pillow, and logged on.

"Ivan! Ivan, go clean up the tables."

It was evening. The dusk was just setting down on the city, and people have started gathering at his father's bar. Early evenings were always the busiest. Over the day it was usually just a few common customers - usually watching TV and betting on football, or readning newspapers and drinking coffee. But the evenings - oh, the evenings were much more lively.

After the sun would set, people would start gathering - people that were nearly Ivan's blood. In this foreign country, they tried to stick together, and his father's bar was the place where they could feel a dash of their homeland. Montenegrian language, music, cards, alcohol... Ivan felt like all those people were his family. And every night, a group of players would show up. Dad's old friends. They'd come there with their instruments - tired and beaten up, but relaxing in this place worked therapeutically on them. They'd sit down for a while, have a rakija, eat some prosciutto, play cards a bit, and then, after they'd recover, they'd get up and play. And Ivan loved those moments the most in the entire world.

"Right, yeah! Coming, let me just..." he scribbled a few last numbers on paper - his maths homework for tomorrow - which he will copy before the class from someone else because he just didn't have time to finish it right now. He had to help out with business. But he didn't mind. He managed to juggle school and music and home situation somehow - maybe he wasn't the shiniest student, but he handled the whole thing, more or less.

He finished setting chairs for tables as people started coming. And then he saw them enter one after the other - old, wrinkled men - Mikonja with his violin, Obren with his double bass, Pejo with his trumpet...

A bit more and the whole crew will be there. Which is what Ivan lived for. With a smile he put away the rest of the bottles and went to take the orders from the guests who kept coming in.

Julias sat in the small room he had claimed for his own, his brother's cello sat in the center of it. A small sigh escaped his lips. The sound of someone's footsteps in his room startled him as, and he crawled out from his hidden space. His gaze met his fathers. Instantly a frown formed a both of their faces. Nothing had really changed between them.

"Me and your mother are hea-" His father started.

"-heading on a trip, you don't know when you're coming back." Julias finished, sharply turning his head away. "I got it, you don't have to tell me." His father didn't look surprised by the attitude. Had it been Julias's mother, he would have been more sympathetic. With his father, sympathy got him nowhere. Noticing his father still hadn't left, Julias sighed. "What else do you want to say? Please stop staring it is annoying. "

His father left the room and Julias turned to the clock on his open laptop. new record, they were home for 6 hours. He sighed, grabbing his phone and slipping back into the hidden room, turning on the light and preparing himself mentally to play music.

Well, it's not like he could just leave them in the dark. They had to know what was going on.

Mustering all the courage he had in his petite figure, the boy stood from his bed, stepping over to his computer where he then sat down, swiveling in the chair uneasily. He really didn't want to ruin the peace between everybody...God knows how difficult things are for everyone right now, breaking the news would only stress people out more. Staring at the computer screen, his sunset-hued orbs started to tear up a bit, and Alex quickly wiped them away with his sleeve, shaking his head determinedly and putting his fingers to the keys.

He entered their chatroom, noting a few of his friends were already online. Great....

"Hey everyone...! I...have some bad news."

Alexander wrote out, hitting send on the keyboard before leaning back in his comfy chair. He could feel his own anxiety creeping down his back, and suddenly felt the need to play again. The teen took a deep breath and hit the play button on his computer, soft and gentle classical music filling the small room in a moment's notice. He always had a playlist ready to go at the press of a button....it's what always seemed to calm his nerves.

The faint music could be heard through out the house, if anyone was even there. Julias knew his parents had already left. The sounds of laughter and suitcases, the slamming of doors, and finally the sound of tires leaving the gravel driveway had ceased. No one but himself was home. Which was fine by him as long as he blocked the silence with the music from the cello. The faint ringer of his phone distracted him, he picked it up, hoping it was someone from the group. Julias smiled as he saw the group chat load, however, it turned into a frown at the word sent from Alexander. Julias had a bad feeling in his stomach about it. After all, bad news was rare to hear from anyone in the group. In his opinion at least. He tossed his phone between his hand contemplating his response.

"What's wrong Alex?"

Julias sent, placing his phone beside him as he put away the cello and crept over to his bed. Sighing as he awaited response.

The bar filled up quickly. The people started drinking - hard alcohol shooting straight in their veins. Loud noises were coming from every table - mostly from people arguing over cards. "You should've thrown that card, idiot! We could've won! You fucking cretin!" "Oh yeah? Well, if you responded to my previous card, you would've realized I couldn't play that one..."

Ivan liked all that mess and rush. He kept rushing from table to table, picking up orders, glasses, bringing new bottles, and chatting with familiar faces. All of the regulars knew bar owner's children. Ivan just refered to everyone as 'uncle' or 'aunt'.

He suddenly felt his phone buzz. Probably someone sending a meme or something. He pulled it out immediately to check the message. His second-hand phone barely handled any big apps, so he only had web browser and a chatting app installed on it. He blew all his memory on it. Why do they always make apps so big?

He froze when he saw Alex's message.

"Ivan! Don't just stand there like Holy Mary! Move, come on, help out!" he heard his mom shout from the other end of the room.
"Right, yeah, just a second!" he shouted back, frowning at the screen.

The message was concerning. Very concerning. What bad news? Millions of thoughts flew through Ivan's head.

"Leave the kid alone, Dunja! He's probably texting a girl or something. Ain't that right, Ivanče?" an old man laughed and nudged Ivan in his side. "Lis'n, old Pjer is gonna give you money to take her to a cinema..."
"You idiot, who goes to cinema at this age? This ain't 70s anymore! The kids just download all the things nowadays! From like, the Internet and that thing... how do you call it? Torrent." another old man laughed.
"What, are you saying I'm old? Well I'll have you know I'm in my best years, I'll be turning 73 this year... It's you who's old!"

The discussion went on as Ivan looked at his screen.

"yo dude
cant talk rn but whats goin on
did someone die :///
"

He clicked send, put the phone back in his pocket, forced a smile back on, and went to bring a new round of drinks to Pjer and his crew.

Evelynn watched as the green dots of being online popped up, showing that her overall four friends were online. She stared in delight, however grew concerned as Alexander sent his first message. She bit her lip, and quickly typed out her own response after everyone else's.

"Is everything alright? I can come over and help if you need it." She hit send, a pit growing in her stomach. Alexander was, to be frank, her best friend. Her first true friend. She'd do anything for the boy. He was like the brother Evelynn wished she could have.

However, as she stared at the screen, anxiously waiting for a response, she felt uneasy. Anxious. She tended to overthink, which was bad. After taking a few deep breaths, she moved to a new tab to turn on old songs, mainly Piano orchestrated. There were faint melodies of other instruments, however Piano was her favorite. It was the best thing she could do to calm herself down.

"It's okay, Eve. Everything's okay. He's okay, you're just an over thinker." The rich girl said to herself. She hoped everything was okay, she'd ruin dinner if anything really bad happened.

Regina Marie Bianchi

Delicate . . .

Regina was just about to like another picture when an alert popped up on her phone screen. She smiled once she looked at the name. After opening the app Regina read the message. Her smile turned into a frown. Regina noticed that the rest of her friends were in the chat as well. She was beginning to believe that something was wrong. Regina was not someone who worried a lot. She was a rational and realistic person after all but she was still a teenager. When Alex decided to text them his message was usually cheerful and peppy. This was a drastic change and made her uneasy.

“Is everything alright? You’re making me anxious...”

. . . but deadly
[/div]

As expected, everybody's replies came flooding in, and Alexander's heart sank. The way everybody cared about him took his breath away every time. He never thought he'd be able to find such reliable people to be accepted and to be a part of their group. He couldn't possibly leave all of this behind.

"My dad got a promotion for his job, which would be great, except it's all the way in Florida. We're supposed to be moving next week. I don't know what to do guys,"

Alex hit send again, staring bitterly at the screen. The gentle music that played soothed some part of him, but he was still on the edge. He started to write up another text;

"I don't want to leave Oak Brook,"

The golden-haired boy felt as though he couldn't breathe, and surely enough the tears he tried to hold back started to pool in his eyes, threatening to spill over. He let out a choked sob, refraining from being too loud. He didn't want his father to come in and continue to explain why they needed to leave again. He heard the reasons before...they weren't good enough.

Evelynn awaited on the edge of her seat for the next reply, hoping- no, praying that it wasn't bad.

It was bad.

To most outsiders, it might not seem as big as it is. But outsiders don't understand the connecting the group has. The way everybody cares for one another. Alexander moving away would be heartbreaking. He hasn't even left, and Evelynn still felt like she was crumbled. Mostly, she wanted to throw up, in fear of losing a friend. In the anxious thoughts that they'd lose connection, and they'd never talk again. She wanted to cry, but held it in. The walls were thin, someone could hear, but in all honestly Evelynn didn't care much if she was heard.

"You cant leave."

Evelynn typed out quickly, her fingers shaking against the keyboard. "There has to be some kind of way that you can be allowed to stay... Maybe you could live with one of us?" She shakily hit send. She'll stop at nothing to keep him here, especially if he wants to stay. She'll find a way, her and all of her friends. She couldn't lose any of them, that fear and loneliness would break her.

New buzzes interrupted Ivan as he made his way through the crowd. The bar was filled now, people were shouting and arguing and laughing and talking. He couldn't put down the tray and respond.

"Hey, Brena!" he shouted to his older sister, finally catching her look. She was chatting with old men who caught her in friendly teasing. His older brother hasn't shown up yet. He really couldn't take a break now, but he needed a few minutes to figure out what was going on with his friend. "Hey! Can you watch those tables for like, 5 minutes? I need to sort out something." Ivan handed her his tray.
She rolled her eyes at her younger brother. He understood - she wasn't happy about it - the bar was full to the ceiling.

"Just 5 minutes." he rose his hands in defense, turned around, and ran out through the back door.
Cool night air refreshed him after that dimmed and smoke-filled bar. He climbed an old window and swinged himself on the roof of an old shack behind the bar. It was his secret place. Nobody could see him there.
He took out a cigarette his older sister slipped into his hand while he was giving her the tray and lit it. He took his phone out and scrolled through worried messages, a frown on his face. He sure hoped everyone was alright.

The news came crashing on him hard.
He stared at the message in shock.

"what??? thats
so out of nowhere"
He... can't be for real, right?

"wtf where did he find an apartment in like
a week
trust me my cousin moved like 3 weeks ago and she spent nearly 2 months lookin for a place"

Why did he send something dumb like that? He had no idea. Alex was one of his best friends- that whole crew were the only real friends he had- and if one leaves, the entire thing would fall apart. He couldn't deal with that. Of course Ivan was aware that they will all go in their own directions one day, but... one day. Not now. Maybe one day when they went to college. Not this.

"i dont got much time rn :///
can we discuss this tomorrow @ school
i think this is
really serious
too serious for chat"

Julias quickly grabbed his phone, checking the messages as he felt his heart drop from his chest. Of all things, he wasn’t expecting this. To him it felt like he was losing his brother all over again. At least to him it felt the same. Losing someone close always brought back his brother in memory. A rush of emotion flared throughout his chest. Julias sighed and threw the phone to the other end of the bed. It bounced off the bed and hit the floor with an echoing thud.

Not bothering to pick it up he grabbed his laptop and pulled up the group chat. Catching up on the messages. Julias didn’t want to believe his friend, but he knew this wasn’t a joke. Who would joke about this? “I agree with Ivan, this isn’t something to be talked about over a text chat. If anyone wants to come over and stay the night, my doors are open. I think it be great since I don't want anyone to be upset and alone. “ He sent and thought for a moment. “Ivan even if you can’t come now and want to come after work. Ill leave doors open to anyone” He added.

In the chat he seemed calmed, but the now cracked screen of his phone said he wasn’t handling this all that well. A deep and very frusterated sigh passed his lips. “To anyone who needs a ride, I can get someone to pick you up.” Because he wasn’t in the mental condtion to drive himself.

Live with one of them? That was a risky reply. However, he felt his heart skip a little. Live with one of his best friends..? He would adore that..! But, that would mean his mother and father would leave without him. They wouldn't allow it.

He watched as the chat erupted with messages, sucking in a shaky breath. They were right, they couldn't talk here about something like this. In all their years of being friends, nobody had been threatened with the leaving of another. Alexander didn't want to see what would happen if they fell apart as friends. This was huge.

As Julias recommended a sleepover, Alex was quick to reply. He needed to be with them right now.

"I'll be there in five minutes, I'll bring my violin.."
With that, the brunette stood from his seat, rubbing his eyes as quickly as he could, grabbing the violin case off his bed and slipping on his shoes, glancing up at the time. He'd have to skip out on dinner tonight with his parents. He swiped his phone off the desk before exiting his bedroom, heading downstairs. His features were red and splotchy, indicating he was indeed crying, but his voice was quick enough so his mother couldn't pick up on it as he passed by her. "I'm heading over to Julias'..." He muttered, reaching the front door without any protests from her. The teen opened and shut the door behind himself, leaving his mom in the living room with a sorrowful expression. She knew he'd be torn up about it for a while. And she felt nothing but sympathy...but it had to be done.

Evelynn, during her wait for replies, had sat up and took deep breaths. She shouldn't freak out, not yet. Something could change. She had to believe that. Sighing, she leaned back down to read the new messaged.

Some sort of delight overtook the female at the request of bringing friends over Julias' home. And when she saw Alexander would be there as well, she had already made up her mind. "If it's alright, I would like to come as well. I agree that we should talk in person." She hit send, got up and stretched. Her parents wouldn't care, they don't even notice she's home half the time. She'd simply have to explain to her helicopter brother and sister.

"I'll be there soon." She sent, and logged off. Grabbing a bag, she threw in her laptop, charger, a change of clothes incase she could stay, and a few other necessities. With a breath held in, Evelynn exited her room, walked down the stairs again and saw Nathaniel and Kelly heading towards the dining hall.

"Evelynn, just in time for dinner." Said her brother, however she didn't move towards them.

"I'm going over a friends house to study. Call me if you absolutely have to, if not, don't bother me." She replied with a somewhat harsh tone. She didn't mean to, and immediately regretted it, however she was so on edge. Without waiting for a reply, she called over their designated driver, Joan, and walked out to the door. They made their way to a large black car, she climbed into the back and they left. She was sure to get a call, but she'd already turned her phone on silent.

Regina Marie Bianchi

Delicate . . .

Regina let out a gasp when she was finally told the bad news. The heiress jumped up from her spot and sped walked out of her room. “Harriet! Get the car! There’s been a family emergency!” She shouted, sending the driver running. Regina didn’t care if she was being a dramatic. She refused to let go of her friend without a fight. She had a hard time making friends, being the picky girl that she was. Once someone managed to get close their bond was forever.

Regina hopped into the car once she made it to the garage. She hadn’t even thought to put on her shoes. Her small feet were bare, the red toenails were out for all to see. Regina was already scheming. Thinking of ways to get her friend to stay. While she headed to her destination Regina texted her friends.

“I’m one my way.

f612fa23-8c18-48c6-8e22-d12984351744-jpeg.430574

Julias smiled as he read the messages. He had only minutes before two of his friends got here. He quickly put the laptop on the desk, throwing the covers over the bed and picking up his phone. He would come up with a story about the crack later. He sealed off the secret wall, using his personal Cello to block the entrance. Julias walked down the stairs and looked around the kitchen. There wasn't anything there, so if anyone wanted food they would have to order or make sandwiches. After he double checked, he headed to the door, turning the outside light on as he waited by the window to see his friends arrive. Sure it wasn't the best reason why they were coming over, but he was still happy to see them. His phoned dinged, alerting him that Regina was now coming over too. That made everyone but Ivan. Of course, Julias had invited everyone, but with Ivan working, he didn't want the other to feel excluded. Julias anxiously waited for their arrival.

Ivan idly tapped his phone. He glanced at the bar. He couldn't go anywhere until his older brother was done with classes and showed up to help out. He finished his cigarette and shut it.
A plus to smoke-filled bar was that nobody could figure out he smoked - the smell just clung to his clothes and hair regardless of him.
He couldn't show up like that to a house as fancy as Julias'. But he had no time to shower and change, especially since he'd have to wait for his brother for at least half an hour longer. And Julias' house... he could get there on a bike pretty fast.

"gonna be there in cca hour, prob
waitin 4 a coworker to pick up my shift"
He never told him where he worked - just that he worked. His friends were considerably better off than he was, and they knew it - but he pretended it wasn't as bad as it was. He kind of avoided to talk about his actual life. He just stuck to topics like music and other's problems.

He went back inside to help out and wait for his brother.

Alexander walked at a slightly faster pace than usual, his violin case swinging slightly at his side as he tried to regain himself. He heard his phone buzz and chirp a bit, indicating others were responding. He didn't need to look at it right now...he was too bent on seeing at least one of them again. Not that that meant he didn't care, of course he did! Everybody in their group was special. Ivan was relatively chilled, and while he didn't share much about his personal life, Alex still found the best in him. He was a great person, even if Ivan himself didn't realize it. Than there was Evelynn, a sweet and tidy girl he had met in the first year of middle school. She was amazing too, and Alexander considered her as close as a sister might be. Regina could be a little dramatic at times, but her intentions were always pure, and she definitely deserves the world. And then there was Julias. He was....honestly everything and more. Every single one of them were like family, and that might just be teen angst talking, but he loved them with all his heart, and would do anything to keep them safe.

Eventually, he found himself at Julias' front door, his hand quickly reaching for the frame to knock on it. Calling out to the other brunette, Alex waited somewhat patiently for the door to be opened. He didn't see Regina's or Evelynn's car....so he must be the first one here. He also hoped Ivan would make it, even though the emerald-eyed boy took late shifts...

He definitely needed some time with them all.

f612fa23-8c18-48c6-8e22-d12984351744-jpeg.430574

Julias glanced at Ivan's latest text. Alright, don't overwork yourself. He sent, turning his attention to the sound of crushing gravel and footsteps nearing the door. Julias practically skidded over, reaching the knob as the person on the other side knocked and called his name. Being a male voice, it could only be Alex. He quickly opened the door and studied Alex's face. Pretty much looking at the signs where Alex had been crying. Julias paused, after a moment he awkwardly opens his arms for a hug, wanting to comfort his friend, but knowing there wasn't much he could do in this situation. He didn't say anything, but his eyes held his emotions. Worry about the events and the Happiness of seeing his friend created a bittersweet expression.

As soon as the arms were opened to him, Alexander stepped forward, encasing Julias in a hug. He didn't say anything, since it was obvious what was being felt right now. He hated the fact he had no control over this, no way to fix it. It was so scary.

What would happen if he did end up leaving...?

Trying to calm himself down, his arms squeezed his friend gently, before he let go and wiped his eyes, sniffling. "Hey Jules..." He muttered the nickname, a small smile forcing it's way onto his lips. "Guess I'm the first one here huh?"

Evelynn was already five minutes into the ride, and she was already about to hyperventilate. Couldn't the car go any faster? No, she had to stay calm. For her best friends. She hated showing her sadness or anxiety in front of Alexander, Ivan, Regina, and Julias. She wanted to show them she was stronger than she seemed, to be the best she could, for them. But just the thought of losing a friend to a job promotion made her feel unsafe, small.

Ten minutes in. They were close. The driver knew where she needed to be. He's driven her around enough times to know where to go when she says Julias' house.

A few minutes later, she was there. The house, familiar and so dear to her, was right there. From the dark window she could see Alex's back and Julias hugging the other. She didn't want to ruin anything, but she also didn't want to keep the driver waiting. So, she tried taking her time while picking up her bag, fixing her clothes, wrapping her scarf around her neck, anything to give them some time. She didn't want to take the attention away from anyone, but then came the fact that she had been ready.

"Thank you, you can go. I'll call if I need a ride home." The rich girl told the driver, opening the door to climb out. She watched as the car dorve away, then turned back to the two boys, walking slowly up. She felt a painful sting in her chest, just seeing Alexander with red eyes, and Julias' expression. With her bag wrapped around her shoulders, she was able to wave, a forced smile appearing on her cheeks. "Hey, guys." She greeted awkwardly.

Julias tighten the hug, scared to let go. He heard his friend sniffling and rubbed his arm. Trying to soothe his friend. Julias gazed up and saw Evelynn pulled up just as Alex broke free of the hug. “Yeah Alex, however looks like Evelynn is right behind you.” He said, not bothering to lighten his slightly somber tone. He smiled forced a smile onto his face. “Hey Evelynn.” He waves as she neared. Julias motioned them inside. “Come on let’s get out of the cold.” He said, guiding the two inside. It was hard not to be sad with the sad, lost expression on Alex’s face. The boy always appeared happy.

Regina Marie Bianchi

Delicate . . .

Regina tapped her bare foot impatiently throughout the entire car ride. She was making the driver nervous. The expression wasn’t uncommon on her face but not comforting in the least. The frown on her face usually appeared when something failed to go her way or she was just in a bad mood. Soon the sports car pulled up to Julias’ house. Standing in front of the door Regina could make out three figures. The young girl climbed out of the car, slamming the door loudly. She didn’t bother to say anything to her driver. She knew that Regina would call when she was ready. She walked up to them with fire in her eyes. Regina would rather be angry than sad. The three of them were just heading inside when she got close.

Causally the heiress stepped in along with them. It wasn’t long before she spoke. “What exactly is the meaning of this? Has your father lost his mind?” She huffed. “I refuse to let this happen. I’ll tell daddy to buy his boss. And then you’ll be forced to stay.” Regina ranted. She knew that moving was reasonable. That it was a great opportunity for her friend but she was still selfish as well. She didn’t want to let go.

. . . but deadly
